Chapter 237 Serena Jealous to Insanity
"If you don't publicly apologize today, this defamation case against me won't end so easily." Edgar angrily stated, demanding Amy and Serena to publicly apologize.
"I advise you to stop before it's too late. Don't be unreasonable. Before I lose my patience." Daniel warned Edgar, his gaze fixed on Jasmine.
Watching Jasmine and Ethan laughing and blushing occasionally, Daniel wished he could rush forward and take her away.
In Daniel's mind, Jasmine belonged to him. She had loved him and belonged to him before. Even if he didn't want her anymore, she couldn't belong to anyone else.
When he saw Jasmine smiling at other men, he would become insanely jealous.
"I insist that they publicly apologize to me," Edgar glanced at Amy. "Apologize."
"And who do you think you are? My husband may not be as good as Ethan, but he is still better than you. Do I need to apologize to you?" Amy sneered.
"Who is your husband?" asked Edgar calmly.
"The Phantom Syndicate is our family's, a height that someone like you can never reach," Amy mocked.
Edgar raised an eyebrow and made a phone call.
"Such a poser. I've seen plenty of these wealthy people in Silverlight City," Amy grumbled quietly.
Serena had never met Edgar before, so she naturally didn't know that he was part of the Cunningham Family.
"Daniel, ever since Jasmine hooked up with Ethan, she's become more arrogant," Serena spoke quietly, hoping to expose Jasmine's true nature to Daniel.
To be honest, Serena was jealous of how protective Ethan was of Jasmine.
But after Serena spoke, Daniel didn't pay her any attention.
Serena was taken aback and looked up at Daniel, who was glaring at Jasmine and Ethan with anger.
It was obvious that he had feelings for Jasmine.
"Daniel!" Serena's emotions started to unravel.
Daniel snapped back to reality. "What's wrong?"
"Why are you still looking at Jasmine? Are you jealous that she's now with Ethan? She's just seeking revenge on you, intentionally seducing him," Serena angrily uttered.
She then walked up to Jasmine. "Jasmine, you're only getting close to Ethan to seek revenge against us. You have a hidden agenda."
"Ethan, Jasmine just wants to use you," Serena anxiously expressed, not wanting anyone to protect Jasmine. Otherwise, she wouldn't be able to freely bully Jasmine and release her frustration.
"I'm willing to be with her. Do you have any objections?" Ethan spoke in a deep voice.
Serena was taken aback by Ethan's response, unsure of how to retort.
After a long pause, she finally spoke. "Ethan, she's blackmailing and doing all sorts of bad things. How could you fall for such a woman? Your status, any kind of woman is beneath you. She will only tarnish your reputation."
"Daniel was the one who really smeared your reputation," Ethan stood up, his cold gaze fixed on Daniel. "He was sarcastic, jealous, and constantly insulting others without any manners or boundaries. Selfish and malicious, he believed that the whole world owed him and should indulge him. How did you end up with a man like that?"
Daniel clenched his fists, Ethan's insult towards Serena felt like an insult towards him.
"Or is it that people like those who are similar to themselves?" Ethan took a step forward, exuding a strong presence that seemed to overpower Daniel completely.
In front of Ethan, Daniel seemed perpetually subdued.
"I know better than you what kind of person Jasmine is," Daniel lowered his voice.
"My woman is not up for you to comment on. I take the time to truly understand someone, unlike you, who is just too stupid," Ethan's voice was equally low, and he couldn't help but add an insult. "If you don't want trouble, you better take your fiancé and get lost, idiot."
Daniel's clenched fist trembled as he stared at Jasmine. "Do you think you can act arrogant as long as Ethan is protecting you?"
Jasmine looked at Daniel and it took her a while to curse back, "None of your f**king business! Are you crazy..."
Although she wasn't good at cursing, she was trying her best to learn.
Daniel's chest ached with anger. "Jasmine!"
"Watch your tone!" Ethan kicked Daniel in the foot with his hands in his pockets.
Hearing Jasmine curse, Ethan felt quite pleased.
Daniel was about to lose his temper when his phone rang.
The caller was Howard.
"Daniel! You idiot, how did you offend the Cunningham Family?" Howard screamed hysterically over the phone at Daniel. "Let me tell you, no matter what you do today, if the Cunningham's Family doesn't forgive you, you can get out of the Douglas family."
Without Ethan, Stellar Enterprises was constantly being excluded by Crestwood Development Group in the business world, and recently, Crestwood Development Group has been becoming more powerful than the Douglas family.
Someone like Howard, who cared about face, naturally couldn't let Stellar Enterprises fall behind, which was why he was desperately trying to please the Cunningham Family.
Because international trade was a lucrative business, Howard had to hold on to the Cunningham Family as his lifeline.
"The Cunningham's Family?" Daniel was confused and instinctively looked at Edgar.

Just as the call ended, Amy's husband came back gasping for breath.
He felt humiliated when he left but he received a call from the project manager of the Cunningham's Family, saying that the young master of the Cunningham's Family brought his child to attend a parents’ day event and his wife made disrespectful remarks, provoking the Cunningham's Family. They were considering ending the cooperation.
Amy's husband rushed over in panic and without a word, he slapped Amy. "Why are you still embarrassing us? Causing trouble like this!"
Amy was shocked and confused by the slap. She stared at her husband in disbelief. "Why did you hit me?"
"I'll divorce you when we get back. You jinx." The man lowered his voice and cursed, then turned to Edgar. "Are you Mr. Edgar Cunningham?"
Edgar snorted. "Amy called me a gigolo, cheating women for money, being kept by them. She even said everything about me was fake. She was disrespectful towards me and my girlfriend."
After finishing his words, Edgar proudly pointed at Jasmine.
"Don't make assumptions; she's a female friend," Ethan warned Edgar with a stern face.
Jasmine belonged to him.
Amy's husband was taken aback when he saw Ethan speaking. He took a deep breath and almost fainted.
Who did this reckless woman offend?
"Mr. Douglas, Mr. Cunningham, it's all Amy's fault. She didn't know better. I will make her apologize!" Amy's husband was terrified.
Amy was already frightened, her face pale. "Mr. Cunningham?"
Serena and Daniel's expressions were not any better than Amy's.
Over there, Serena's phone also rang.
It was Evan on the other line. "Serena, how did you offend the Cunningham family? They want to end their partnership with us."
Serena's vision darkened.
Edgar turned out to be from the Cunningham family.
Why did Jasmine have such a good life? Why was she able to attach herself to Ethan, and even have Edgar protecting her?
Jasmine was just a thief who was stealing away her life!
Serena was consumed by jealousy, her nostrils started to bleed dark red, her face grew paler, her vision blurred, and she collapsed to the ground.
"Serena!" Jasmine stood up abruptly, terrified, pulling Ethan and Edgar back, as if trying to create distance. "Don't get too close to her, be careful, she'll cheat you out of your money."
