Chapter 311 Is Richard Sophia's Son?

The Betty's residence.
"Richard, why are you back?" Ryder asked, scratching his head.
"Ryder, is the boss back?" Richard was a bit anxious.
Ryder shook his head. "No, she hasn't come back."
Richard's heart tightened, and he turned around and drove to find Betty.
Where would she go on such a late night?
After searching for half an hour, Richard still couldn't find Betty.
Leaning against the car door, Richard felt a bit restless.
He always needed to understand Betty better.
He didn't know where she would go when she was angry. He didn't know what she had experienced in the past or why she was afraid of dogs either.

Oakwood Hills Cemetery.
Richard searched for Betty all night but couldn't find her, so he drove to the cemetery alone.
The police and Ethan had publicly claimed that May had died, and even if it was just for show, Richard still had to come and visit the grave from time to time.

Beside the tombstone, someone had come and brought a bouquet.
Richard frowned, wondering who it could be.
The Everetts and The Whites were unlikely to go and visit May, let alone get such a fancy thing as flowers.
The person who brought a bouquet for May must have a conscience.
Looking around, Richard didn't see anyone at the cemetery.
After cleaning May's tombstone, Richard left.
Ethan said that he came here regularly to disguise his true intentions.
Just as Richard got into his car and left, Sophia, who was hiding behind the tomb, emerged.
She took off her sunglasses and watched Richard drive away, filled with mixed emotions.
"It's not a bad thing for you that May dead." the driver whispered behind Sophia who gave the driver a cold glance.
"After all, she was my sister," Sophia was well aware that May knew too much and was too greedy. In order to prevent William from knowing her past, May had to die.
With May's death, Sophia could now rest assured.
In this way, Jasmine loses the reason for killing her.
No one would be able to reveal her secret, and what remained was an exciting drama.
"May's biggest accomplishment in life was raising Richard," Sophia said coldly as she looked at the tombstone, then turned and left.
As they left the cemetery, Richard, who had already turned into a side road, took a picture of the license plate number and sent it to Ethan.
Richard: [You're right, someone came to visit my mom.]
Ethan: [That's William's car, and the driver is also his.]
Ethan: [Sophia and May are blood sisters.]
In fact, Ethan had already made it very clear that Sophia was likely Richard's biological mother.
But there was still no evidence at the moment.
Richard: [If she were, why did she abandon me?]
Richard leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes, and a headache washed over him.
He had spent the whole night looking for Betty and hadn't slept a while.
Ethan: [Some women will do anything to climb to the top and sacrifice anyone.]
Richard put his phone aside and suddenly lost interest in his own identity. If he were William's son, Sophia wouldn't have abandoned him, so there was only one possibility. Sophia intentionally left him with May in order to be with William.
Frustrated, Richard clenched his fists and banged his forehead. He glanced at the paperwork he had thrown onto the passenger seat.
Betty said she wanted to apply for marriage.
"Richard, the boss is back. She changed her clothes and left, saying she was going on vacation to Stonecrest Heights. She's already on her way to the airport," Ryder secretly called Richard.
Richard took a deep breath and stepped on the accelerator, heading toward the airport.
If Betty wanted to apply for marriage, then let her.

The Cunningham family.
Nolan was in a meeting when Aiden approached him quietly. "Mr. Cunningham, Mr. Evan from the Wilson family is here. He says he's here for the bid competition for the Westing Town Resort project."
Nolan subconsciously glanced at Jasmine.
After all, Evan had been like a brother to her for twenty-one years. He ordered, "You go handle this matter."
"Mr. Cunningham, do you have any intention to collaborate with the Wilson family?" Jasmine naturally wanted to know the boss's opinion first.
"There's no need to annihilate the Wilson family." Nolan looked at Jasmine, seemingly warning her.
Regardless of what the Wilson family had done later on, they still nurtured Jasmine twenty-one years. Jasmine shouldn't be overly ruthless toward them, as it would make her appear cold-hearted.
"Do not advise others on goodness if you haven't experienced suffering yourself." Jasmine was starting to feel irritated. Nolan had been making sarcastic remarks about her maliciousness more than once.
Throwing the materials in front of Nolan, Jasmine turned and walked away.
Nolan became furious. Jasmine was becoming more and more audacious! How dare she give him attitude?
"She..." Nolan wanted to curse.
"Mr. Cunningham, come on, calm down." Aiden quickly stopped Nolan. "Think about Ms.Jasmine's contributions. She has secured several major projects. Don't drive her away with your anger."
Nolan snorted and redirected his anger toward Aiden. "Is she starting to get proud of herself now? Look at her attitude. In a few days, she won't even bother to acknowledge my existence. You're thinking too highly of her."
Aiden rolled his eyes. He relied on Jasmine's project performance for his livelihood, so he was definitely grateful to her.
"Facing a family that raised her for twenty-one years with such indifference and wanting to eradicate Evan. What's wrong with calling her cold-hearted? Did I say something wrong?" Nolan believed he was right.
He acknowledged her abilities but felt that her character was lacking.
A woman who can be attracted to Ethan cannot have a good character.
"Meeting adjourned." Aiden quickly dismissed everyone in the conference room.
The company's employees were canny. If they heard Nolan's criticism of Jasmine, they would definitely follow suit and bully her.
After all, Ethan is not the same as before.
Jasmine's support system had collapsed.
"Should we bring Jasmine to tonight's social event?" Aiden asked quietly.
Nolan was furious, his face still burning. Both of his brothers had gone mad.
Especially Edward, who had go too far and dared to hit him.
"No, we won't bring her," Nolan said angrily, getting up and walking out.
Aiden looked helpless and quickly followed him.
Nolan had learned his lesson from the slap he received. He dared not bring Jasmine to this social event.
Otherwise, he would face more than just Edward's slap.
As they entered the elevator and went downstairs, the receptionist came running over, informing, "Mr. Cunningham, there's a girl in the lobby who said she stained your clothes. She has already cleaned them and wants to deliver them to you."
Nolan glanced in the direction pointed out by the receptionist and saw Luna who was a bit shy. She lowered her head and dared not look into Nolan's eyes.
Nolan walked over with a gloomy face and said,"I don't need the clothes anymore. I won't wear clothes that have been washed before."
Luna stared at the clothes in her hands, stunned for a while.
She had heard that this outfit alone cost tens of thousands of dollars, but Nolan treated it as casually as throwing away a peanut shell.
Indeed, the gap between the rich and the poor was a chasm that she could never cross.
"Mr. Cunningham, thank you for that day." Luna quickly bowed.
Nolan was wary of Luna. He casually nodded and left with a cold expression, leaving Luna looking puzzled.
By the time Jasmine arrived, Nolan had already left in his car.
After exchange glances with Luna for a few seconds, Jasmine spoke," Mr. Cunningham is going to the Starlink Club for the social event."
Luna didn't say much and ran out.
If Jasmine prohibits Luna from strategizing against Edgar, then she is left with no choice but to engage the most astute Nolan.
After all, Nolan always bullied her.
