Jasmine nodded, not in the mood to discuss her work with Ethan. "Can you tell me about Betty?"
Ethan wanted to talk less about Betty. He was afraid it might affect Jasmine's mood. He smiled and changed the subject. "If you win the project bid, how much bonus will Nolan give you?"
"Nolan finds the environment of my brother and Betty's rental house too poor and said he would give me a house." Jasmine honestly said.
Knowing Jasmine's understanding of Nolan, he was definitely not joking.
Ethan raised an eyebrow. "I'll help you adjust the project plan. Don't forget to ask him for a downtown mansion."
Jasmine chuckled at Ethan's teasing. "You must be making Nolan uncomfortable with a luxury mansion in the city center."
"He has to pay the price for looking down on people." Ethan snorted.

Jasmine had been with him for a long time, so she had become less shy.
"We have to take Justin to the Cunningham family tomorrow; let's rest early." Ethan helped Jasmine with the project plan and carried her to bed.
"Why are you reluctant to tell me Betty's story?" Jasmine wasn't in the mood for sleep.
"Do you like Betty so much?" Ethan was jealous.
Jasmine nodded. "I always feel that her strength is just a protective facade."
"Betty and I have been classmates since kindergarten. She has always been carefree and unbeatable. Almost everyone except me has been beaten up by her," Ethan chuckled.
Jasmine was amused. "Why didn't she beat you?"
