Chapter 774 Jordan Asks Jasmine for Casey
"When I found Betty, do you know where she was?" Richard was out of control, his eyes bloodshot as he grabbed Steven and pinned him against the wall.
The others wanted to intervene but were stopped by Steven.
Richard punched Steven in the face. "Even if those people didn't dare harm her because of you, they would still torture her, scare her, lock Betty in a cage, make her watch dogs eat people, and then lock her up with those dogs!"
That lunatic Dev took pleasure in torturing Betty.
Richard, out of control, kept hitting Steven. "So, Steven, no matter the reason, you don't deserve Betty!"
Steven didn't deserve to go back and bother Betty again.
"How dare you go back and find her?" Richard continued.
Both of them, exhausted from fighting, leaned against the wall, neither saying a word.
Steven looked at the flames everywhere, his gaze wandering.
He truly regretted it.
He thought Betty was so strong-willed that she would hold on until he came to rescue her.
He thought that by making some concessions, he could quickly rescue Betty, but he didn't expect so many difficulties that delayed him.
He was also tormented.
"If it weren't for Brade sending the message back to Silverlight City, Ryan insisting on calling the police, the police getting involved and us cooperating, how many years were you planning to let her stay in this hell waiting for you?" Richard asked in a low, deep voice.
Betty never wanted to talk in detail about the kidnapping back then.

Steven asked hoarsely.

Richard was silent for a long time before he spoke. "If I were you, I wouldn't have let Betty be in danger from the start. If I couldn't protect her, I would have chosen to divorce her, let her stay away from me, rather than use her."
Steven glanced at Richard, wanting to mock him, but couldn't bring himself to.

Lisa hid behind Mark, and he warned Dev.
Dev, clutching his wound, went to get it treated.
Lisa stood there, trembling, and asked, "Dad, what are these wildflowers?"
"Don't inquire," Mark whispered, taking Lisa to a room. "Were you scared?"
Seeing no one around, Lisa burst into tears.
Of course, she was scared.
"I will take you back to Muskow as soon as possible," Mark whispered. "After things are settled here."
He had to kill Steven.
"Dad, what are you doing?" Lisa cried. "Why are you doing this? It's too dangerous. Can we go home?"
Mark was silent. "We can't go back."
The path he chose, there was no turning back.
He chose it, and he wouldn't regret it, nor could he turn back.
"Dad, I'm scared," Lisa cried loudly, hugging her knees.
She missed Casey and wondered how Casey was doing.
She wanted to go home so badly. But she didn't know if she could go home alive. This place was too terrifying.

Lisa hadn't been found, but there were clues that Mark's people had taken her across the border.
This made it very difficult to find her.
"Where's Raymond?" Jasmine asked nervously.
"Raymond's gone mad," Ethan rubbed his temples.
Raymond, against the Douglas family's objections, insisted on going to Aurora Peninsula.
He was cosseted, even if he knew some fighting skills, but wasn't he crazy to go to a place like that.
"He really likes Lisa," Jasmine rubbed her temples. "By the way, Jordan came to see me today. He knows Lisa is gone and wants me to give Casey back to him."
Ethan's face darkened. "Tell him to get lost!"
