Chapter 733 Bradley and Vincent Have Long Been Collaborating
Mark probably never thought that after all his scheming, he would be outsmarted by Bradley.
However, he didn't care. He believed he still had many backup plans.
"You think holding those shares in your hand can save the Douglas Group?" Mark laughed. "Without me, you can't deal with Ethan."
"That's why we need to cooperate." Bradley looked at Mark. "It's a win-win cooperation."
Mark squinted his eyes at Bradley. "Go ahead. How do you want to cooperate?"
"I am the president of the Douglas Group. Helping me is also helping yourself because I can tolerate you, but Ethan cannot. This Douglas Group belongs to both of us. How about that?" Bradley placed the real transfer contract on the table. "As long as you help me deal with Ethan, these shares will be Daniel's."
Mark frowned. "I didn't expect you to be so ruthless. You really hid it well."
Bradley smiled. "That's none of your business."
On the other side, Daniel had been sitting quietly. He had become numb to who was a liar and who was pretending.
He just recorded the conversation between Bradley and Mark and sent it to Jasmine.
Soon, the conference room door was pushed open, and Jasmine and Ethan walked in.
Jasmine looked at Bradley. "I didn't expect you to deceive us."
Bradley said nothing.
Ethan frowned, looking at Bradley. "Is the Douglas Group what you want?"
Bradley still said nothing.
Brandon also walked in, looking very displeased. "Your ambition is really big, and your acting is good too."
Bradley still did not explain.
Mark smiled and took Bradley's contract. "Pleasure doing business."
After saying that, he glanced at Daniel. "What are you still sitting there for? Let's go."
He deliberately took Daniel away to leave Ethan and the others to embarrass Bradley.
The conference room quieted down. Brandon stepped forward to confront Bradley, but Ethan stopped him.
Ethan walked over and sat down, asking in a deep voice, "Explain."
Bradley held a pen in both hands, remaining silent for a long time before speaking, "It's just as you see. I want the Douglas Group. I want everything that should belong to the Douglas family."
"What do you think should belong to you from the Douglas family?" Ethan retorted.
Bradley said nothing and kept his head down.
Ethan sneered. "Did you guess that I would trace it back to you?"
"Yes, with Sunrise Corp's sudden rise, you would trace it back to me." Bradley admitted. "Sunrise Corp is also mine."
Ethan frowned, feeling for the first time that he had met his match.
Bradley was clearly a very capable person, a worthy opponent, and much stronger than Daniel.
"Sunrise Corp is also yours?" Brandon was so angry his head hurt.
"Bradley, are you planning to take revenge on the Douglas family? Howard is dead. Who are you avenging?" Brandon frowned and asked. "Ethan has never wronged you."
"I said I want what belongs to me." Bradley did not explain, holding the pen and standing up. "Ethan, you still have the Raymond Group. The Douglas Group is not important to you. Let it go."
Ethan smiled. "It is not important to me, but I hate it when others covet my things."
Bradley took a deep breath. "Then we can only be opponents."
Bradley was about to leave when Brandon grabbed his collar and pinned him against the wall. "Do you think I'm being too nice to you?"
"Brandon!" Ethan frowned and shouted. "Let him go."
Bradley just looked at Brandon and walked straight out.
"Are you in cahoots with Vincent?" Ethan asked.
Bradley paused for a moment but did not turn back or answer.
Ethan couldn't quite understand what Vincent was trying to do.
"Lily has already secured her position in the Powell family. Is it possible that she chose to cooperate with Bradley? Could it be that the person behind Lily is Bradley, and it was Bradley's people who killed Emily?" Brandon asked in a low voice.
Jasmine's face darkened as she looked up at Ethan.
This suspicion couldn't be ruled out.
The person who secretly contacted Lily kidnapped Emily and ultimately killed Emily, forcing Lily into a corner.
Ethan shook his head and said nothing.
He felt it wasn't Bradley.
"If it were, Bradley would have revealed his identity. If he wanted to reveal his identity, there would be no need to continue hiding it." Ethan had also placed someone by Lily's side, and they reported that the person who met Lily was always fully disguised, with a voice changer.
No one knew who that person was.
"But Bradley is indeed a problem." Jasmine frowned. "Moreover, he is cooperating with Vincent. These two."
One had capability, the other had connections.
It was a strong alliance.
In the long run, it was a significant threat to them.
Even though Ethan held shares in the Douglas Group, it was still a threat because Bradley and Vincent had Sunrise Corp.
"After Bradley took over the company, he has already failed several negotiations and started reforms, increasing employee benefits and maximizing their interests. It seems like a good thing, but financially, it will definitely be unsustainable, increasing expenses and costs. The Douglas Group already has financial issues, and Bradley hasn't injected new funds. Guess what his purpose is?"
Ethan looked at Jasmine and Brandon.
"Is he trying to destroy the Douglas Group?" Jasmine gasped.
"Rather than destroy, it's more like a transfer. He'll ruin the Douglas Group but gain a good reputation. The senior management and core technical staff of the Douglas family will move to Sunrise Corp before the Douglas Group collapses."
Then Sunrise Corp would transform from a shell company into a powerful business.
The brilliance lay in his ability to escape, effectively shaking off Ethan.
By that time, no matter how many shares Daniel and Ethan hold in the Douglas Group, it would be useless.
Because he would have already transferred the most valuable 'core' of the Douglas Group to Sunrise Corp.
Even if Bradley didn't have a single share, it won't matter.
"Bradley is really smart." Jasmine gasped, feeling that this enemy was formidable.
"Are we just going to watch him destroy the Douglas family?" Brandon asked.
Bradley was shedding his disguise to face strong enemies.
One person was taking on both Ethan and Mark.
"We can't stop it anymore. Because of Vincent's involvement, the Douglas Group has become even more passive." Ethan frowned. "We can only try to maximize our interests and cash out our shares before Bradley succeeds."
Ethan squinted his eyes. This sucker would have to be Mark.
Didn't Mark want the Douglas Group?
"Just give up so easily? The Douglas family means a lot to you; it's your mom and grandpa's legacy." Jasmine was a bit anxious.
She had worked so hard with Ethan to save the Douglas Group, and now they were just going to hand it over?
Ethan answered, "Bradley is right about one thing: the most important part of the Douglas Group is not a shell company but its valuable core. Since Bradley wants to hollow out the Douglas family, we should try to minimize our losses and transfer people to Raymond Group and LY before he succeeds."
