Chapter 862 Avery is Pulled into the Abyss of Hell by Owen

Jasmine looked at the document about the Cunningham family on the screen and remained silent for a long time.

After Ethan hung up the phone, he also hesitated to open it.

"Should I look at it myself?" Ethan wanted Jasmine to sit aside for a while.

Jasmine shook her head. "I want to know what's going on with the Cunningham family. I trust my mom and Nolan. They wouldn't do anything illegal."

But now, rumors were rampant, especially in the business circle, saying that the Cunningham family remained invincible because it was all a conspiracy by the Cunningham family.

Now, the evidence might be in here, and Jasmine was thinking about how to clear the Cunningham family of suspicion.

The document was opened, but it was empty.

Jasmine looked at Ethan in surprise. "it's actually empty?"

That meant the Cunningham family was safe.

Jasmine clutched her chest and sat aside. "I knew it. My mom wouldn't do anything unethical."

But looking around the Silverlight City business circle, many people, especially those connected with Kavi, were involved in various degrees of black and gray business chains.

Especially the Bell family.

So, the extermination of the Bell family seemed to be a foregone conclusion. "The ones who had the Bell family couple killed were Marshall."

Marshall wanted the evidence held by the Bell family to disappear completely, thinking that this would protect the Hawthorne family. Unfortunately, Mark had even more complete evidence in his possession.

"The Powell family was also involved." Jasmine looked at the screen.

The Powell family had the most extensive ties with Kavi.

Unfortunately, the Powell family were Kereans, so even if we handed the evidence to the police over there, it might not have much effect.

"But over the years, someone has indeed been helping the Cunningham family from behind. Who could it be?" Jasmine looked at the screen, puzzled.

The Cunningham family was so clean that Mark didn't have any dirt on them.

This also why Mark was wary of the Cunningham family back then.

"This secret is probably only known to Kavi." Ethan held the hard drive, looking at Jasmine. "Hand it over to the police. Kavi is the source of all evil, and the evidence is conclusive. He can't escape."

Even if the Silverlight City police couldn't arrest him across borders, once Kavi fell, the businessmen in Muskow would be eager to eliminate Kavi to protect themselves.

He couldn't escape!

Muskow, hospital.

Raymond's forehead wound was still bleeding, and he sat tensely outside the emergency room.

"You need to get checked and treat your wound immediately, or else, when Lisa comes out, you'll be dead." Ryan said angrily, asking the nurse to help Raymond.

"The one being rescued inside is my teacher. Please trust his ability." Ryan spoke again to reassure him.

Raymond's eyes were red, and he looked up at Ryan. "She must survive."

"We're all here. Go treat your wound and get checked. If anything happens, we'll notify you immediately." Richard patted Raymond's shoulder.

Raymond nodded, got up, and followed the doctor and nurse.

"I didn't like Lisa much before," Fiona said softly. "But now I hope she can survive."

Ryan sat next to Fiona. "She will."

"Raymond!"

Over there, Raymond had only taken a few steps before he fainted.

Ryan and the others quickly ran over and rushed Raymond to the emergency area.

"This couple..." Richard sighed. "Kavi really caused a lot of harm."

"His punishment has come." Steven walked over and patted Richard's shoulder. "Ethan found the hard drive."

Richard looked at Steven in shock and then breathed a sigh of relief.

That was great.

Finally, it could end.

The emergency room light went out, and the doctor came out.

Fiona hurriedly stepped forward. "Sir, how is the patient?"

The doctor shook his head. "Sorry, the patient lost a lot of blood... she's still unconscious for now, but she's no longer in life-threatening danger."

Fiona was almost scared to death by the first part, nearly losing her balance, and smiled helplessly. "Thank you. You've worked hard."

"You're welcome," the doctor replied.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Fiona leaned against the wall. "As long as she's not dead, it's good."

Over there, Raymond was sent to the emergency room, treated for his wound, and then moved to a ward.

He and Lisa was in the same ward.

"Colleagues here praised him for being tough. He broke three ribs and still held on until now." Ryan rubbed his temples helplessly. "He was just holding on. If a rib had pierced his lung, Lisa would be fine, but he would have died first."

"You people from Silverlight City are all the same." Steven teased.

"People tend to associate with those who share similar interests and personalities. We're all passionate people, unlike you." Richard said seriously.

Steven realized and punched Richard's shoulder. "Do you want to die? Do you think I won't dare to harm you because you're Arnold's son?"

"See, you only know how to say things like 'do you want to die' or 'I'll kill you and your whole family.' In Silverlight City, we call that an overactive sense of self." Richard was in a good mood and didn't argue with Steven.

Steven's face darkened, feeling inexplicably angry.

He thought he and Richard were good friends, but Richard always distanced himself and made it clear that they were not the same kind of people.

"The hospitals around here may not be safe either. Without my people, you won't get any sleep for a whole day." Steven threatened arrogantly.

Richard looked at Steven helplessly. Why was he so arrogant? No wonder Betty said Steven was too much like her, and two people who were too similar couldn't be together.

"Lisa..."

Raymond woke up, anxiously calling Lisa's name, unable to be held down.

"Lisa is fine. She's right next to you. The rescue was successful, but she lost a lot of blood and needs to rest." Ryan reassured him.

Raymond finally relaxed. Since she wasn't in the intensive care unit, there shouldn't be any major problems.

"With the same amount of blood loss, a female body can tolerate it better than a male's. Don't worry, she'll wake up soon." Ryan reassured him again.

Raymond's eyes reddened. "Thanks."

Ryan smiled. "You're welcome."

Fiona also breathed a sigh of relief, tightly holding Ryan's arm. "That's great. They're both okay."

Ryan looked at Fiona. "It's so dangerous outside. Are you still going to run out?"

Fiona quickly shook her head. "No, I won't run out anymore!"

Silverlight City.

Kavi was captured, and Steven completely took control of the Hughes Group.

Ethan handed the hard drive to the police, who began investigating and arresting one by one.

Avery turned herself in and provided new evidence proving Owen and Marshall's crimes.

Ethan found the best lawyer for her, but Owen hated Avery for ruining the Hawthorne family and insisted that Avery, as a corporate executive, was aware of all the illegal activities of the Hawthorne Group.

Actually, Avery had anticipated this.

Her father would personally drag her into the abyss.

So from the beginning, she never intended to struggle because in such a situation, as long as Owen insisted that she knew about it, being his daughter, it would be very difficult for her to escape suspicion.

Outside the police station.

Edgar stood outside, waiting for Avery to come out.

But Avery couldn't come out and only sent a message through the lawyer.

The lawyer walked up to Edgar and spoke softly. "Mr. Cunningham, Ms. Hawthorne said you don't need to wait. She never loved you; she just thought it was fun."
