Chapter 880 Can't Hide Nolan's Illness Anymore?

Casey lowered his head and didn't speak.

Actually, Jordan had disappointed him many times.

"Casey, will you come home with Daddy? Daddy has already driven that bad woman away. From now on, it will be just Daddy, Casey, and Mommy living together, okay?" Jordan squatted down and asked him.

Casey looked up at Jordan. "Really?"

Jordan nodded. "Yes, will Casey help Daddy get Mommy back? Then we can be a happy family together."

Casey hesitated for a moment and then spoke softly. "But Mommy found me a new daddy."

Jordan's face darkened, and he was a bit angry. "Who told you that? Your mommy?"

Casey shook his head.

"Casey!" At this moment, Lisa also came to pick up Casey.

Justin and Joe left with the driver, and Lisa wanted to take Casey to the hospital to have dinner with Raymond and foster their relationship.

Raymond said he would treat Casey as his own son, and Lisa believed he would keep his word.

As for Casey, Lisa believed he could sense who treated him well and who didn't.

"Mommy!" Casey saw Lisa and happily ran over to hug her.

Jordan was angry, but he thought this wasn't the time to lash out at Lisa. He'd better hold back for now. Lisa had her flaws; he could work on them after they remarried. After all, Lisa had been quite spoiled and willful before, but she had changed a lot since marrying him.

Jordan believed Lisa would still be obedient and eventually compromise because she loved him so much.

"Lisa," Jordan spoke softly. "I came to apologize to Casey. He said he forgave me. Let's have a meal together as a family."

Lisa held Casey's hand. "Sorry, we have plans today. Maybe another time."

"Lisa," Jordan couldn't suppress his anger. "He's my son. Where are you taking him? Casey already agreed to have dinner with me."

"Yes, he's your son, but after the divorce, I have custody of Casey. You're welcome to visit anytime, but that doesn't give you the right to interfere in my personal life. We have plans tonight." Lisa said in a serious tone.

Jordan was a bit angry. "What's so important? I just want to have dinner with Casey."

"Raymond is injured and in the hospital. We're going to accompany him tonight," Lisa said directly in front of Jordan.

Jordan looked at Lisa in disbelief. "You'd rather accompany Raymond than me? Lisa, even if you're trying to make me jealous, there's a limit."

"You're shameless and overthinking it," Lisa opened the car door and put Casey inside. "If there's nothing else, we'll be leaving."

"Lisa! Did you ask Casey's opinion? Raymond is an outsider. Even if you're playing mind games, you should consider Casey's feelings!" Jordan still thought Lisa was trying to make him jealous.

Lisa found Jordan's confidence a bit ridiculous. "Jordan, have you cared about Casey's feelings? How many times did you ask me to take Casey and get out of your house? Have you forgotten? If you really cared about his feelings, would Casey have gotten lost back then?"

Jordan was stunned and didn't speak. He knew he had been wrong in the past and genuinely wanted to make amends now.

"Jordan, I'm serious about Raymond. We've already gotten our marriage certificate. Whether you believe it or not, there's no chance for you and me anymore. I won't stop you from seeing Casey, but you need to show basic respect," Lisa said. She had intended to keep the marriage a secret, but seeing Jordan's disbelief and persistence, she decided to be straightforward.

Jordan was clearly shocked and didn't react for a long time. After a while, he stepped forward. "Lisa, you're lying, right?"

"Jordan, I never thought you could be so pathetic. You're destined not to get what you want," Lisa shook her head, got into the car, and told the driver to leave.

Jordan stood there stiffly for a long time, hoping Casey would willingly leave with him, but Casey clearly listened to Lisa more.

Watching Lisa's car leave, Jordan couldn't believe Lisa and Raymond had married.

Not to mention whether Raymond was willing, the Long family would never allow Raymond to marry Lisa.

So he thought Lisa was intentionally goading him, playing on his jealousy to manipulate him into pleading for her forgiveness.

Clenching his fists, Jordan snorted. This time, he wouldn't indulge Lisa. He wanted to see how long she could hold out without coming to him.

The Cunningham Mansion.

Nolan brought Amelia back.

The Cunningham family had been targeted recently, and Edward was exhausted, so Nolan came back to help.

"Hello, everyone," Amelia said nervously, sitting on the sofa and clutching her dress tightly.

The Cunningham family members looked at the pregnant Amelia as if they were observing a piece of art.

"What are you doing? Don't scare her," Nolan said, very dissatisfied.

Cordelia snorted and sat across from them. Edward also sat down, followed by Evelina, Ethan, and Jasmine, surrounding the two of them.

"Come on, explain yourselves. Honesty will be rewarded, resistance will be punished," Cordelia demanded Nolan to explain.

"This is Amelia, your daughter-in-law. I didn't bring her back before because I hadn't won her over yet," Nolan quickly explained.

Cordelia squinted her eyes. "So you've won her over now? Letting Amelia be pregnant and alone outside? Nolan, you're really something."

Saying this, Cordelia was about to hit Nolan.

Nolan didn't dodge and held Amelia's hand tightly. "Mom, I did a lot of bad things before. I was a jerk. I finally managed to win Amelia back."

The thought of Amelia, pregnant and alone so far away, pained Cordelia.

"Mrs. Cunningham," Amelia said nervously.

"Why are you still calling me Mrs. Cunningham? Call me Mom," Cordelia quickly held Amelia's hand.

"The child is mine," Nolan interrupted Amelia, afraid she would say the child wasn't his.

Cordelia didn't pay much attention to these words, only feeling sorry for Amelia.

Jasmine also looked at Amelia. "During this time, Nolan has made you suffer."

Amelia's eyes reddened, and she shook her head. "No."

"Nolan, why did you decide to come back?" Edward asked softly, worried about Nolan's health. "Should we go to the hospital tomorrow for a thorough check-up?"

Amelia nervously held Nolan's hand. "I also think you shouldn't keep hiding it from everyone. Now that everyone knows, I decided to come back with you to discuss it with Mrs. Cunningham and Jasmine. With modern medical technology, if we all work together and support you, we can definitely cure it."

Nolan was confused. What illness did he have?
