Chapter 777 Lisa Entrusted Her Life to Justin

"Casey?" The phone was answered, and Lisa instinctively tensed up.

Raj squinted his eyes, looking at Lisa.

Mark also became alert.

At the door, Dev was playing with a knife, listening to Lisa's call.

"Mommy." On the other end, Casey sweetly called out to Lisa. "Mommy, when are you coming back? I miss you so much."

Lisa's eyes instantly reddened, and she covered her mouth, holding back her tears. "Casey, I miss you too."

"Mommy, come back soon. Daddy has been causing trouble at Uncle Ethan's house these past few days, insisting on taking me home. I refused and said I would wait for you here." Casey said softly, choking up.

"Casey, be good and listen to Uncle Ethan from now on." Lisa clenched her palm.

On the other end, Justin's voice came through. "Auntie, we won't let anyone take Casey away."

Lisa breathed a sigh of relief. "Justin, thank you."

Raj grew impatient and signaled Lisa to hang up quickly.

"Justin, Casey doesn't understand. I told him to take his allergy medicine at 2 PM every day. Has he been taking it obediently?" Lisa asked.

Justin was silent for two seconds before answering. "I've been supervising him, but he always refuses to take it on time."

"He must take the medicine at exactly 2 PM. If he keeps delaying, his condition will never improve." Lisa pretended to be stern.

"Auntie, I understand. I'll make sure she takes it on time." Justin replied.

Lisa breathed a sigh of relief. Justin was so smart, she wondered if he could figure it out.

"Okay, Casey loves cherries, but you can't let him eat too many. No more than fifteen or sixteen a day, not even one more." Lisa said seriously. "If he eats too many, he'll get nosebleeds."

"Make sure he finishes eating fruit by 3:30 PM. He can't eat any in the evening." Lisa rambled on, and Raj signaled Dev to take the phone away.

That was enough.

Dev stepped forward, looking at Lisa, and coldly asked for the phone.

"I won't talk to you anymore. Bye-bye." Lisa hung up the phone and fearfully handed it to Dev.

"Your son?" Dev asked.

"Yes," Lisa nodded.

"How old is he?" Dev asked deliberately, clearly suspicious of Lisa.

"Five and a half," Lisa said nervously.

Mark was a bit unhappy. "My grandson is just over five. Lisa divorced his father and couldn't bring him here. Don't be too paranoid."

Raj said nothing, clearly letting down his guard.

Dev also said nothing and handed the phone to Raj.

Lisa breathed a sigh of relief.

Silverlight City.

At Ethan's residence, the police were sitting on the couch, looking at the drawing Justin had made on the paper.

"The clock is round. Auntie must be trying to tell us that the place is round. 2 PM is in the direction of north-northeast. It's very important. Allergy indicates that this place is crucial."

Justin explained Lisa's words.

Before Lisa left, she had roughly explained things to Justin. She knew that only by calling the child could she make Raj and Dev lower their guard.

And Justin, being exceptionally smart, was a trustworthy child.

"Before 3:30 PM, no more than fifteen or sixteen cherries. That means there are sixteen people at the 3:30 position, urgent rescue is needed."

Because Casey was slightly allergic to cherries, eating them would cause his mouth to swell.

The police officer looked at Justin and smiled. "Grow up to be a police officer."

"Will Auntie be okay?" Justin asked softly.

"She'll be fine." The police officer, dressed as a delivery person, got up to leave.

"Thank you." Ethan shook hands with him.

The officer shook his head. "Ms. Douglas did the hard work, providing us with the general location and allowing us to accurately locate the hostages and trafficked women."

This greatly increased the chances of a successful rescue.

Ethan nodded. "Thank you."

Seeing the officer off, Ethan looked back at Casey.

Fortunately, Casey, being naive, didn't understand the meaning of these words and just mumbled softly, "When will Mommy come back?"

"She'll be back soon." Ethan ruffled Casey's hair. "Uncle Raymond has already gone to find your mommy."

Casey sniffled. "Uncle Raymond is better than Daddy."

Ethan sighed and said nothing.

Jasmine stood at the kitchen door, feeling a bit sorry for Casey.

The phone rang, it was Samuel calling.

Jasmine answered the call.

"Jasmine, come to the office quickly. Jordan is here again, saying he wants to see you." Samuel said.

Jasmine frowned. Jordan went to the office to make trouble?

"I got it. I'll be there in a bit." Jasmine rubbed her temples and looked at Ethan. "Why is Jordan suddenly fighting for Casey?" Although it wasn't a custody battle, he wanted to take Casey back. Jasmine was confused. "I don't believe he suddenly want to be a good father."

"The Long family pressured him to give up custody of Casey. Now Casey holds shares of the Taylor family and Lisa's inheritance. I guess it's Jordan's mother who sent him to get it." Ethan sneered.

Jordan did whatever his mom told him to do.

"I understand. I'll go talk to him." Jasmine warned Ethan not to follow.

Yesterday, when Jordan came here, Ethan beat him up.

He probably didn't dare to come today, so he went to the office.

Ethan's face darkened. "That guy deserves a beating."

"Does beating him help? He's still Casey's father. With that blood relationship, if things get too bad, Casey will only suffer more. You can't keep Casey from seeing Jordan forever." Jasmine sighed.

She could only try to make Jordan realize the responsibilities of being a father.

She didn't expect him to be great to Casey, just to have some conscience.

Aurora Peninsula, community.

Steven sat on the couch, looking at Raymond across from him. "Mr. Mitchell, what brings you to this place?"

How unusual. A scion of a prestigious family, willing to come to a place like this?

"Lisa is with Raj. I'm here to make a deal. I want Lisa to come back safely." Raymond frowned.

Steven squinted his eyes in excitement. After all. The Long family, as a prestigious family, held significant influence in Silverlight City. Since Raymond actively sought cooperation, he might as well give him a favor and seize this opportunity.

But just as Steven was about to speak, Richard interrupted.

"No need for a deal. Lisa is with the police. We will ensure her safety." Richard said righteously, with a face that told Raymond not to worry too much.

Raymond smiled helplessly.

On the other side, Steven's face darkened, glaring at Richard. "Do you not know your place? You're just a bodyguard I hired. Do I need you to make decisions for me?"

Richard looked innocent. "Did I make a decision? I just stated a fact."

Steven gritted his teeth. "Are you doing this on purpose?"
