Chapter 394 Annabelle and Claire Argued

"You little bitch, you have no shame," Claire said, her face pale with anger.
Lisa had been sitting quietly, watching the drama unfold.
But Howard, with a dark expression, spoke first, "Enough. Annabelle is still the daughter-in-law of our family, and that's a fact that can't be changed. Since the online rumors have become a reality, we need to think about how to resolve this issue."
Daniel and Annabelle could not divorce. Given Annabelle's current reckless behavior, she might do something drastic.
Annabelle was smart. She knew that if she couldn't take down the Cunningham family, she had to take down the Douglas family.
During her time married to Daniel, Annabelle had learned many of this family's secrets. If things really got out of hand, it wouldn't be good for the Douglas family.
"Howard, she's a fraud. Her reputation is ruined, and she's been seeing other men behind Daniel's back. We don't need such a promiscuous woman in the Douglas family," Claire said angrily.
Daniel was also firm. "Dad, I want a divorce."
Annabelle laughed mockingly, leaning back on the sofa and looking at Daniel. "Divorce? Do you think marrying me was a simple matter? You think you can marry and divorce me as you please?"
"Annabelle, you have no shame. Just say what you want," Claire scoffed,
"If Daniel divorces me, I'll tell Ethan that you all conspired to kill his mother," Annabelle said coldly, looking at everyone.
We were all in this together, so we stopped pretending.

Lisa, who had been playing with her phone, suddenly stiffened and looked up sharply. "Bollocks!"

"I'm not talking nonsense. Your mother should be very clear about it," Annabelle said, lightly tapping her fingers on the table.

Howard's face grew increasingly grim. That incident from back then, which Annabelle's father had caught wind of, now seemed like the Harper family intended to use it to threaten them.

"Annabelle!" Claire was almost hysterical, gritting her teeth in a threatening manner. "You better know what you're saying. The last person who talked nonsense is already dead."

Claire was referring to Serena.

"Not every woman is as foolish as Serena to listen to you, and not every woman is as weak as Jasmine to be bullied by you without fighting back." Annabelle sat up straight and patted the table. "Claire, I call you mother out of respect, but I don't need to spell out the bad things you've done."

"Annabelle! Don't go too far." Daniel suddenly stood up, clearly enraged.

"Are you all angry? Then you better brace yourselves for the secret I'm about to reveal. Don't let regret kill you, or you'll be embarrassed." Annabelle looked up at Daniel, raising her voice. "The real heiress of the Cunningham family has been found. Although it hasn't been publicly announced, I already know who she is. Take a guess."

Howard's face looked grim, and Claire's face was equally unpleasant.

Of course, they wanted to know.

Particularly Claire, who not only desired her son to wed the Cunningham family's true heiress, but was also naturally intrigued about the heiress's identity.
"We don't know where the Cunningham family's heiress was found, so we can't guess. Just say it, don't waste time." Lisa frowned.

Annabelle smiled. "This person, you all know her very well." Annabelle leaned back on the sofa, looking meaningfully at Daniel.

If Daniel knew that Jasmine’s ture identity, what would his expression be?
Annabelle raised the corners of her mouth; she was really looking forward to seeing him regret deeply.

It would be best if he died immediately.

"We all know her?" Claire frowned. "Who is she?"

Annabelle deliberately didn't tell them. "Tomorrow is Howard's birthday. I'll invite her over then, and you all should treat her well."

"Stop pretending. Everyone knows you had a fight with your family. The Cunningham family hasn't even pursued the matter of you forging the paternity test. There's no way you can bring the real heiress of the Cunningham family here," Lisa said sarcastically,

"She will definitely come tomorrow," Annabelle stood up and smiled at Claire. "Since Claire is upset for the sake of her health, I won't stay tonight. Tomorrow, on Howard's birthday, I'll come over first thing and watch the show with everyone."

Howard's birthday had already invited Ethan, and if Ethan came, he would definitely bring Jasmine.

By then, who knew what new ways Claire would find to harm Jasmine?

Once this farce ended, she would reveal Jasmine's true identity.

Since she was going crazy, she might as well make everyone go crazy.

If Claire knew that the girl she had schemed to put in prison, used every trick to break up with Daniel, and considered worthless, was actually the real heiress of the Cunningham family, Claire's face would be wonderful.

Really looking forward to it; let's all go crazy together tomorrow night!

MindScape Haven, Psychological Counseling.

Connor finished work and had just come out of the treatment room when he saw Annabelle, who was full of hostility.
Connor, however, remained calm, put down the treatment book in his hand, and leaned against the door. "Do you need treatment?"
"Seeing Dr. Hawthorne is really difficult. I made an appointment so long ago, and it's finally my turn," Annabelle said in a low voice,
"You're very healthy; you don't need psychological counseling," Connor retorted sarcastically,
"Dr. Hawthorne must find it amusing to trick others," Annabelle said as she walked into the treatment room with a smile.
Connor raised an eyebrow but did not respond.
"Dr. Hawthorne, you deliberately approached and manipulated me, all for Jasmine," Annabelle said, sitting in the hypnosis chair. "Let me guess, Dr. Hawthorne did this for redemption. To save Jasmine from hell and then push me into it. Doctor, you should treat everyone equally. She's a patient, and so am I. I need saving, too."
"No," Connor said as he walked to his seat and sat down, "Some people are born to be in hell."
Souls that were too malicious did not deserve to be saved.
Annabelle laughed until tears almost came out, her eyes viciously staring at Connor. She straightened up. "Connor, you must think no one can see through you. Do you think I can't guess your thoughts? You like Jasmine. No matter how well you disguise it, you can't hide your deepest desires."
"Really?" Connor laughed.
"Connor, have you ever heard the saying, 'When you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you'?" Annabelle stood up, leaning on the table, looking at Connor. "Pushing people to the brink won't do you any good either."
Connor nodded. "My dad told me from a young age not to push people to the point of despair."
Annabelle clenched her fists, gritting her teeth as she looked at Connor. "Connor, you will regret this."
"Alright, I'll be waiting," Connor said casually,
Annabelle snorted and slammed the door as she left.
A nurse cautiously opened the door and asked, "Dr. Hawthorne, that person just now didn't pay..."
Connor smiled. "Make sure to clean the chair thoroughly and disinfect it with alcohol."
