Chapter 253 Ethan was being difficult today.
At Cunningham Enterprises.
Nolan had a gloomy expression as he stared at Edgar, who was still sitting at his desk. "Are you free? If you have so much free time, why don't you go and date someone?"
"I do want to date, but you have ruined all my good qualities! It's because of you, my hot-tempered brother, that Wilson doesn't want to talk to me anymore!" Edgar was very angry.
He had finally used Joe to have more opportunities to be with Wilson. But today, Ethan called and told him that Nolan had been bullying Wilson! How could he tolerate such a thing?
All the positive image that he had built for the Cunningham Family was destroyed by Nolan.
"Wilson?" Nolan frowned and said, "She's not suitable for you."
Edgar was about to curse at him but was afraid after seeing Nolan's expression. "You don't understand, Wilson and I are a perfect match. Joe likes Wilson too, we are meant to be together."
"Wilson is not simple, you can't compete with her," Nolan looked at Edgar with disdain. "Be careful."
"You're talking nonsense. Wilson is kind, cute, and beautiful. Joe must be right," Edgar firmly refused to believe Nolan's words.
"I've seen too many women like her," Nolan said confidently.
"Afterwards, you will know," Edgar snorted, sitting beside him, and said, "Do you have a bias against Wilson just because she is Ethan's woman?"
"No," Nolan frowned, throwing the project proposal onto the table. "Take a look at this project plan about Westing. Wilson wrote it today in just three hours."
Edgar reached out and took a glance, shocked. "Such a great development plan for Westing. She has marked all the benefits, avoided all the drawbacks, and provided solutions. Is she a genius?"
"Do you think she has that ability? A woman who spent five years in prison can write such a well-thought-out plan in just three hours?" Nolan sneered and said, "Do you dare say Ethan didn't help her? Do you believe it?"
"Why do you look down on her?" Edgar was very angry.
Nolan's expression became serious, and he threw his pen at Edgar, hitting him. "How dare you talk to me like that?"
Edgar also realized that he had misspoken.
"Anyway, Wilson is very clever, I know it. She has the ability, and besides, she is here to help you. Why do you have such animosity towards her?" Edgar snorted.
"I see you have been deceived by her." Nolan became even more furious.
Wilson actually managed to confuse Edgar like this.
"If you continue to defame her, I will get angry." Edgar looked at Nolan seriously. "We have different opinions about her; you have a bias against her."
Nolan sneered. "Do you know who she wrote this plan to deal with? It's the Wilson Family. The Wilson Family is competing for the Westing project, and Evan is in charge. For the sake of interests, and to get what she wants, she harms the foster parents who raised her for twenty-one years. Regardless of the value she can create for me, do you think her character is without flaws?"
"Without considering the value she can create? Besides that, what else do you want to consider? Are you crazy?" Edgar rolled his eyes. "You said those people from the Wilson Family have helped her? They are all insane."
Edgar had a bad impression of Serena.
Nolan made Edgar breathe uncomfortably with anger. He really regretted not killing Edgar in the cradle.
"Edward called and said he found our sister and a paternity test has been done. It's Annabelle from the Harper Family. Today, we are hosting a family banquet and the people from the Harper Family will all come over." Nolan tidied up the table and got up to take Edgar home.
Edgar frowned and said, "We haven't found her for so many years, and now suddenly she's been found. It feels weird."
"Because the Harper Family still hasn't dared to deceive us," Nolan's voice was low, "If she really is our sister, then she is our treasure. Don't scare her."
"You're just saying that to convince yourself, right?" Edgar rolled his eyes.
"Do you have a grudge against me?" Nolan gritted his teeth.
"You're unhappy with Wilson, so I'm unhappy with you." Edgar flexed his biceps. "I'd rather not have a brother than give up on Wilson."
Nolan felt like he should cut ties with Edgar.
"But you've reminded me of something." Nolan suddenly thought of something and squinted his eyes.
At Ethan's house.
After treating Wilson to a delicious meal, Ethan couldn't wait to bring her home.
As soon as they entered the house, he kicked the door and pinned Wilson against it, kissing her.
Wilson looked at Ethan blankly and said, "It's not even dark yet."
How could he do something like this now?
"We finally have some alone time." Ethan looked at Wilson with resentment.
"You left the children at my brother's place just for this?" Wilson's ears turned red.
"I just took you out for a nice meal." Ethan guided her. "Do you still want to eat?"
Wilson obediently nodded.
"Then shouldn't you let me have a taste too?" Ethan lifted her up and pressed her against the wall.
Wilson was scared and quickly wrapped her arms around Ethan's neck, her legs tightly wrapping around his waist.
Wilson's whole body was heating up.
She originally thought that this kind of thing was the cruelest torture in the world, but after being with Ethan, she easily accepted it.
"Call me honey," Ethan tempted Wilson.
Wilson was a bit dazed; she thought Ethan was really handsome.
Resting on Ethan's chest, Wilson hesitated to speak.
It wasn't because she couldn't call him 'honey'.
But having lost so much, Wilson always felt that the things she cherished should be hidden, and not easily uttered, otherwise they would be taken away by others.
She was afraid of losing him.
"It seems like I'll have to keep trying." He kissed Wilson's neck, deliberately leaving a mark on her.
He wanted the whole world to know that she belonged to him.
He was Wilson's man.
And Wilson was his wife.
Wilson's phone rang.
Because she was now Nolan's assistant, she had set a special reminder for his calls.
As soon as the ringtone sounded, Wilson knew it was Nolan.
"I'll answer the call."
"No." Ethan frowned; he didn't expect her to still have the mind to answer the phone.
"No, if I don't answer the phone, he will go crazy again," Wilson was afraid of Nolan. He reached out to touch the phone on the table.
But Ethan just wouldn't let go, especially when he saw that it was Nolan calling, he wanted to tease Wilson even more.
"Hello, Mr. Cunningham," Wilson answered the phone and Ethan started touching her.
"Ah!" Wilson was scared and exclaimed. Her face turned red and she covered her mouth, glaring at Ethan with red eyes.
Nolan said in a low voice, "Tell Ethan that the Cunningham Family is having a family banquet tonight and he must come, we found my sister."
