Chapter 731 Betty's Daughter is Born

Richard's face changed, and he looked in panic at Betty, who was still standing in the yard.

He forced himself to calm down and said, "Honey, go back inside, please."

Betty, holding an umbrella, stiffly walked over. "Richard."

Richard grabbed Aleah's hand and pinned her against the wall.

Aleah held a detonator for a timed bomb in her hand, and she had already pressed it. If Richard let go, it would explode.

"Don't come any closer!" Richard shouted in panic.

Aleah smiled at Betty. "He'll die with me."

With that, Aleah struggled violently.

Betty looked at Richard in horror. "Richard."

"Don't come any closer; everyone stay back. There's a bomb!" Richard shouted at the approaching police officers.

The police quickly contacted the bomb disposal experts and told Richard to stay calm.

Richard held Aleah's hand tightly, not daring to touch her bag because the bomb's wires were tied to her body.

From the beginning, she had come to die.

"Richard, die with me," Aleah continued to scream.

Betty threw away the umbrella and, ignoring Richard's objections, walked over step by step.

Richard was angry but more heartbroken. "Why are you coming over?"

"I can't stand this anymore." Betty gritted her teeth and took the opportunity to slap Aleah hard. "Even if I die, I have to slap you a few times first. Are you crazy?"

Aleah was stunned by Betty's slap.

Betty looked at the wires around Aleah's waist, then glanced at the butler and bodyguards, and said in a panic, "The pond."

"Let me go! Betty, I want you to die with me!" Aleah continued to scream and struggle.

"Too noisy!" Betty frowned, picked up a stick, and hit Aleah on the head, knocking her out.

The world fell silent.

Richard looked seriously at Betty, who was both fierce and adorable.

Betty rolled her eyes at Richard. "We'll settle this later."

With that, Betty carefully removed the wires from Aleah's waist, and with her big belly, she threw the bomb bag into the distant pond like a shot put.

"Take cover!" Betty and the police shouted simultaneously.

The pond in Betty's yard exploded. But no one was hurt, probably because the bomb wasn't very powerful.

The fish in the pond were the unlucky ones.

Richard sat weakly on the ground, taking deep breaths in fear.

Betty, however, was very calm. She tidied her hair, held her waist, and smiled at the police. "Sorry for the trouble."

The police were stunned, looking at each other in disbelief.

The police took Aleah away. This time, she wouldn't escape a life sentence.

Seeing Richard still sitting on the ground, Betty kicked him. "Get inside."

Several bodyguards looked up at the sky. "Oh, it's raining. We're all wet. Let's go take a shower and change clothes."

At this moment, no one could save Richard.

But Richard smiled, stood up, and ran to Betty. "Honey, what do you want for dinner? I'll make it for you."

"I want a burger." Betty huffed.

"No, it's not nutritious," Richard said, touching his nose.

"I want a burger!" Betty insisted.

"Okay, okay, a burger it is." Richard conceded.

Betty stopped in the living room, turned around, and twisted Richard's ear. "I'm difficult and willful, and you don't like me. I'm not cute at all?"

"Who said that? Who dares to say my wife is difficult and willful?" Richard said with a smile.

"You've changed, becoming glib," Betty said, her eyes reddening as she hugged Richard and kissed him.

Richard, feeling sorry for her, picked her up and took her to the bathroom. "Take a shower quickly, or you'll catch a cold."

"Honey," Betty suddenly said. "I think our baby is scared; my belly hurts."

Richard was terrified. He wrapped Betty in a towel and ran out. "Get the car ready! We're going to the hospital!"

Betty gave birth prematurely via C-section.

At 5:30 PM that day, she gave birth to a daughter.

"It's a little princess! Oh, my baby, you were so naughty in mommy's belly. I thought you were a boy," Betty said happily.

She had wanted a daughter, but the baby was so active that she thought it was a boy.

Richard was overjoyed. He rarely smiled, but now he couldn't stop.

"Richard, you're a father now. You need to take on the responsibilities of a father." Arnold advised Richard.

Cordelia sneered. "Have you done that yourself?"

Arnold coughed. "I never had the chance."

He didn't know about Richard's existence.

Cordelia happily held the little princess. "You are so cute."

Outside, Jasmine and Ethan rushed in.

"Jasmine! It's a little princess," Richard boasted, clearly speaking to Ethan.

Richard thought, 'Look, we had a little princess. The pressure is on you now.'

Ethan looked down at his two sons and muttered, "Sons are good too. My wife must be carrying a daughter."

Joe and Justin happily ran to the bedside.

Joe said, "Aunt, you worked hard."

Betty was overjoyed. "Thank you for your concern."

Justin's eyes were red. "Aunt, does it hurt?"

Betty hugged Justin to comfort him. "It doesn't hurt. I have painkillers. Don't cry."

Seeing Justin still unhappy, Betty teased him with a smile. "Then give Aunt a kiss, and I won't hurt anymore."

Justin kissed Betty and said seriously, "Aunt, I can't take responsibility for you because Uncle has already taken you away. When I grow up, I can't marry you. Can I marry the baby girl?"

Justin amused the whole family.

"No, you can't. She is mine," Joe said. "You go find your Casey."

The innocent words of children made the adults laugh.

The whole room was filled with joy.

Betty successfully gave birth to a daughter. Although she was premature, the baby was healthy.

Richard was finally free from Aleah and could be with his wife openly.

Richard hesitated for a long time. After Jasmine kicked him, he blushed and took out a box, kneeling on one knee. "Honey, I want to propose to you again."

Before, he couldn't give Betty the wedding she wanted, but now he could.

He had made enough money to give Betty and their child the life they wanted.

Betty looked at the diamond ring and smiled. "So thoughtful?"

Richard just smiled and said nothing.

Betty picked up the ring and put it on her finger. "Alright, I reluctantly agree. We already have a marriage certificate and a child. Can I still back out?"

Richard excitedly hugged Betty. "Thank you, honey."

Cordelia looked at the young couple, now so affectionate, and smiled contentedly. She whispered to Jasmine, "I wonder when your three foolish brothers will let me rest easy."

None of them were getting married, still playing around. It seemed they were addicted to it, occasionally even fighting at the company.
