Chapter 815 Edgar Came to See Nolan
Edgar walked over, took the phone, and glanced at it. "How could he be..."
Before he could finish, Edgar looked back at the phone screen, shocked. "Is this Nolan? How did he get so tanned? And dressed like this... Was he kidnapped?"
Cordelia reached out and grabbed the phone, looking at the screen excitedly. "It really is Nolan. The news says Nolan got a marriage license in Sunrise City. This girl next to him, I've seen her before."
Edgar, still shocked, snatched the phone back from Cordelia. "Really? Nolan? Got married? Isn't he..."
Wasn't he sick? Did he get married to fight off the illness?
"Oh my, look at this pretty girl, she's so delightful." Cordelia's attention was on Amelia, not Nolan.
Edgar, however, was both anxious and heartbroken. How did Nolan get so tanned? Was his cancer getting worse? He's so thin, it's heartbreaking. "Mom, I'm going to Sunrise City."
Cordelia stood up excitedly. "Edgar, look at Nolan's wife, is she pregnant?"
Edgar had no time to check. "I'm going to Sunrise City to see."
"I'm going too." Cordelia was so excited she wanted the butler to arrange the trip.
Edgar quickly stopped her. If she went, she would find out about Nolan's illness. "Mom, I'll go first. You stay home. This is a special time, Indigo and Casey are at our house, and you need to take care of the kids."
Cordelia came to her senses. "Oh, I was so happy I forgot. The kids are at home."
Cordelia smiled. "Okay, you go,and bring Nolan and the girl back."
"Okay." Edgar nodded and quickly ran off.
Muskow, warehouse.
Richard hid in the shadows, watching Steven get beaten by those people.
He couldn't step in to help right now.
Besides, these people wouldn't dare kill Steven, a few punches wouldn't hurt.
He kind of deserved it.
Steven spat out blood, looking coldly at those people. "If I don't see Kavi, I won't sign anything."
The leader saw that Steven was unyielding, even after a day and night of beating.
"Kavi, he still won't talk or sign." The leader called Kavi.
They didn't know what was said on the phone, the leader looked back at Steven.
Seeing Steven still looking arrogant, the leader kicked him. "Kavi said if he still won't sign, force him to sign, then kill him."
Kavi was too cautious. Even with Steven beaten to this extent, he wouldn't come out to see him.
Steven frowned, fell to the ground, and his face darkened. This bastard Kavi was really cautious.
It seemed that using this method to temporarily put Kavi in jail was difficult.
"Kill him." The leader's voice was low, he was serious.
Steven looked sinisterly at Richard hiding in the corner. "Fuck, are you waiting to collect my body?"
Suddenly being called out, Richard stepped out and greeted the people. "Hello."

"I sent a distress signal to the police three hours ago, but they haven't come yet, hang in there." Richard complained, the police response in Muskow was astonishingly slow.
Then a gunshot rang out.
Richard rushed to push Steven away, and they quickly hid behind a pillar.
"Are you crazy?" Steven cursed.
Richard frowned, looking at his injured arm. "It's nothing, just a graze, I won't die."
Steven looked angrily at Richard, not saying a word for a long time.
"Watch out!" Richard pulled Steven, and they exchanged a glance.
It was over, there were too many people, escaping was too difficult. Their people couldn't act for now, fearing the police would label it a brawl, but waiting for the police was too hard.
"Don't shoot, I'll record the video and sign the will!" Steven raised his hands, he was to stall for time.
The leader pointed the gun at Steven and grabbed Richard. "You better not play tricks."
Steven nodded. "I won't."
Steven and Richard exchanged a glance.

The scene was chaotic.
Finally, the police rushed in.
Steven was also injured, and he and Richard sat back to back on the ground.
The police finally came.
"If you die, Betty will be mine." Steven said coldly, as if annoyed by Richard's resilience.
"If you die, your property will be mine." Richard retorted.
Steven's face darkened with anger. "This plan failed, Kavi won't let it go. I'm sorry about Indigo..."
Steven felt a bit guilty. He admitted Indigo was his to provoke Kavi, but Kavi was so cautious, he still wouldn't show up.
But now, Kavi was sure Indigo was his daughter, his legitimate heir.
If they didn't find evidence against Kavi soon, he would definitely target Indigo.
Sunrise City.
Lucas and Caitlyn were worried about Nolan, so they temporarily departure, they needed to discuss a plan.
"Mom, how did Amelia get involved with Nolan? Did Nolan threaten her?" Lucas asked quietly. "After all, Nolan has power and money."
Caitlyn looked displeased, and after a while, she spoke. "Don't worry, let me think of a plan. No matter how powerful Nolan is, Amelia is my daughter. We need money for the marriage, and once we get it, I'll take you back, and you can finish your studies."
Lucas smiled. "That would be great."
Nolan suddenly became his brother-in-law, so when he returned to school, no one would dare look down on him.
Bed and breakfast.
Amelia sat in the yard, basking in the sun.
Nolan was wearing slippers, weeding.
"Thank you for today." Amelia said, looking down.
Nolan glanced at her. "I'm your husband."
Amelia swung her legs. "It's just a contractual relationship."
Nolan put down the hoe and walked to Amelia. "I'll take you out for a walk this afternoon, the doctor said your mood is important."
Amelia shook her head. "I just want to sleep at home."
Nolan was about to say something when he heard a familiar yet sorrowful call from the door. "Nolan!"
Nolan's temple twitched, and he turned to see Edgar standing at the door with a suitcase, looking travel-worn.
When Edgar saw the now dark-skinned Nolan, his eyes instantly reddened, tears welling up, and he rushed to hug Nolan. "Nolan."
Nolan was a bit speechless at Edgar's sudden visit. "What's wrong? Did Avery dump you?"
