Chapter 673 Miss Wilson Has Been Found

The Hawthorne family was indeed destined for an unsettled New Year.

Christopher was involved in a lewd gathering, which included minors, both boys and girls. In such a situation, regardless of whether the participants were willing, they all constituted rape.

They probably didn't realize they had fallen into a trap, so when the police arrived, they were extremely arrogant, claiming it was a private party.

As a result, when the police arrested them, neither the Hawthorne family nor any other families could help them clear their names.

"Who sold us out? Why are the police here?" Christopher cursed as the police dragged him out.

The other wealthy individuals were also cursing.

The police didn't coddle them and directly shoved them into the car.

"Miss Cunningham has sent you a New Year's gift," Kayla, who was staying at Avery's place this year instead of going home, said.

Avery treated her very well, like an older sister taking care of a younger one.

"What gift?" Avery raised an eyebrow, a smile playing on her lips.

"Big, fresh cherries!" Kayla jumped excitedly.

"Go ahead and eat them," Avery said, smiling as she swirled her wine glass.

Soon, Avery received a call from Owen.

"Go to the police station and suppress the matter immediately, and also suppress the media! Bail Christopher out for me!" Owen's voice was low and angry.

Avery raised an eyebrow. "Dad, I've had too much to drink and slept all afternoon. What's going on? What did Christopher do this time?"

"Go to the police station and bring him back, no matter what it takes." Owen's voice softened a bit. He clearly had suspected Avery earlier.

After hanging up, Avery glanced at the news and then called Jasmine.

"I received your gift and am very satisfied. Leave the rest to me; I'll handle it thoroughly," Avery said, looking at Kayla washing the cherries. "This gift is truly surprising."

"As long as you like it. What's spoiled should be thrown away," Jasmine replied meaningfully.

After hanging up, Avery leaned back on the sofa and took a sip of wine.

Deborah chose this moment to act against Christopher, only to be caught by Jasmine.

Avery thought, 'Oh, Deborah, of all people to provoke, you chose Jasmine.'

Deborah considered herself smart, but Jasmine was never a fool.

In the past, Jasmine could not protect herself, but now, with the Cunningham family and Ethan, who would she fear?

Those who came from hell were the most terrifying.

Jasmine can only be an ally, never an enemy.

"Stop eating. Come with me to the police station," Avery said, getting up and putting on her coat with a smile.

Kayla continued washing and eating, jumping in place. "So good, so good."

Avery smiled, shook her head, and led her out.

At the police station, Christopher was still cursing in the interrogation room.

Seeing Avery, he scowled. "Get me out of here! Who sold me out?"

"I warned you long ago that Deborah is back, and she's very ambitious. You should have kept a low profile. Now you've been caught," Avery said calmly, with a hint of regret.

"Was it Deborah?" Christopher gritted his teeth. "That bitch."

"You know, Grandpa is getting old, and his health is declining. By causing this trouble, you've lost your inheritance rights. Grandpa was already considering giving all the shares to Connor, who refused. If Deborah eliminates us, she'll be the final winner," Avery said, smiling as she sowed discord.

Christopher was stupid, but his words still carried some weight with Owen.

"Did you touch any of those underage kids?" Avery's face darkened as she asked, warningly.

If Christopher was that depraved, he truly deserved to die, and no one could save him.

"No!" Christopher rubbed his temples, now needing Avery's help, so he had to endure. "I didn't. I brought my girlfriend. It was them."

"It better be them," Avery said, standing up and warning Christopher. "Once the police investigation is over, I'll have a lawyer contact you."

As soon as Avery left, Christopher angrily pounded the table.

Deborah, once he got out, he would kill her.

"Avery, what do you think about your brother's situation?" Owen's lawyer was testing Avery outside.

"Coordinate with the police. If he really touched those minors, I suggest the death penalty." Avery snorted coldly and left.

The lawyer was so shocked he couldn't speak. Avery's presence was overwhelming.

The Hawthorne family was in chaos, and the Wilson family was equally lively.

Before Evan died, he advocated for a paternity test for Tessa and her child, Bobby Wilson, confirming that the illegitimate child was indeed Benjamin's. As a minor, Karen was obligated to pay Bobby support and allocate part of Benjamin's inheritance to him.

Now, Tessa had brought the child to the door, making Karen's face even darker.

"Benjamin only has one son, Bobby. The inheritance should naturally go to us." Tessa shamelessly declared.

But evil people had their own punishments.

"Do you think bringing a team of lawyers here will make me give you all of Benjamin's inheritance? Listen up, don't even think about it. Benjamin and I have a daughter, and the inheritance should belong to my daughter," Karen retorted, now bringing up her biological daughter.

This was why Karen had been desperately searching for her biological daughter.

"Your biological daughter? How long have you been looking? There have been several impostors. Have you found her?" Tessa taunted Karen.

Karen glared at Tessa and snorted coldly. "That's none of your concern. Get them out."

Tessa and the lawyers were once again thrown out, cursing at the door.

The lawyer was hired by Evan when he was still alive to create trouble for Karen.

Evan even paid for bodyguards for Tessa and Bobby, clearly doing it on purpose.

Indeed, Karen was about to go mad, smashing things everywhere.

"Bastard, even in death, you won't let me have peace!" Karen raged. The Wilson Group was not yet fully under her control, and she needed to find her daughter quickly.

To cultivate the next puppet bound by family ties and blood.

"Ma'am! We've found her. The police matched the DNA with the blood bank and found your daughter!"

Outside, the butler rushed in excitedly.

"We've found the young lady!"

Karen was stunned for a moment, then turned to look at the butler. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, we're sure. We've found Miss Wilson!"
