Chapter 756 Betty Causes a Stir in the Family Group for Richard
"It doesn't matter. We are legally married. It's all for his early death." Richard said in a deep voice, continuing to serve Betty food.
Betty felt that Richard was acting strange, but she couldn't pinpoint exactly.
That evening, at a business banquet in Silverlight City.
Jasmine couldn't go out, so Ethan stayed home with his wife.
"The president of the Raymond Group is such a henpecked man." someone said.
"I thought I'd see Mr. Douglas today, but it turns out he's at home with his wife." another one chimed in.
Even though Ethan didn't attend, people still talked about him.
Richard and Betty also arrived, and many people looked at him.
"That's Betty's husband? How can a mere bodyguard compete with Mr. Hughes?" a woman sighed.
"Exactly, he's overestimating himself." Many people didn't think highly of Richard, given his lack of background.
Richard didn't get angry, he remained vigilant by Betty's side.
Even as a bodyguard, he had to do his job well and protect Betty.
"Mr. Lopez, this is my husband, Richard. Long time no see." Betty took the initiative to greet and introduce Richard.

Richard clenched his fists but said nothing.
Steven's gaze fell on Betty. "I didn't want to make things difficult for him, but he brought this on himself."
Betty frowned at Steven. "Even if Mr. Hughes has power in Muskow, don't forget, this is Silverlight City, not your territory."
Betty still had confidence. As long as they were in Silverlight City, Steven couldn't do much.
Richard wasn't defenseless either. With so many bodyguards from LY, they weren't afraid of Steven.
As long as Richard didn't leave the country, he would be safe.
At worst, she would never let Richard leave the country.
"He better stay in Silverlight City like a turtle hiding in its shell for the rest of his life," Steven taunted Richard with a smile.
Richard said nothing, continuing to protect Betty.
"Isn't this Mr. Hughes? Long time no see, we should catch up." Raymond squeezed through the crowd to defuse the situation. He Steven away and sighed.

"Betty! Seriously, Steven is back, and you still haven't divorced Richard? You and Steven are a match made." the one who spoke was Betty's cousin Abigail, with her husband Malcolm.
Betty's face darkened as she looked at Abigail. "Abigail, you really have the leisure to spout nonsense here?"
Abigail's face also darkened, and she gritted her teeth. "Betty, Steven has helped our family a lot. We only recognize him. You should divorce Richard quickly. How can a bodyguard be worthy of you? Your parentswon't agree either."
Malcolm added, "Yes, the Willer family and our family don't think highly of him."
Richard stood by, his hands clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white.

Richard nodded. He had been added before, but he ignored it as they kept asking him to connect with Ethan and Nolan.
"Check out the drama. What's Ryan asking in the group?" Betty covered her mouth and laughed.
Abigail panicked and quickly took out her phone to check.
Ryan had tagged Malcolm in the group chat, asking, "Did you get treated? Don't ignore it, early detection and treatment are key. Azoospermia isn't a terminal illness."
Richard coughed lightly. Ryan was quite ruthless.
Now, Abigail couldn't hold it in. "Are you crazy? Malcolm, let's go."
Malcolm, with a dark face, looked at Abigail and tagged Ryan in the group chat. "What do you mean?"
The family group chat exploded.
Ryan innocently replied, "Malcolm, didn't I help you get your medical report a few days ago? It showed abnormal sperm, congenital azoospermia."
The group chat fell silent. Everyone knew that congenital azoospermia meant infertility.
But Malcolm and Abigail had three kids, with the eldest in middle school. If he had azoospermia, where did the kids come from?
Betty looked surprised. "Malcolm, you have azoospermia? No wonder none of the three kids look like you. You should get a paternity test. I bet none of them are yours."
Abigail was furious, pointing at Betty and trembling.
Betty leaned against Richard, laughing loudly.
