Chapter 290 Ethan's Confusing Actions Every Day
Inside a rented house in Seaspring Valley City.
Wilson knew that Ethan was accustomed to living in clean places. Every nook and cranny of his home was always taken care of by someone, so Wilson deliberately took a third of her salary and rented a house in a high-end neighborhood. Although the house was a bit expensive, it had never been occupied by anyone since the landlord went abroad after renovation.
Wilson felt extremely lucky to have found this place. Liam helped her with the search. The landlord had gone overseas temporarily and did not mind the price as long as the tenant cared about cleanliness.
Wilson was the fortunate one chosen by destiny.
Otherwise, with the location of this neighborhood in Silverlight City, the rent would start at twenty thousand dollars per month.
Wilson looked happily at Ethan. "No one has lived in this house before. All the furniture is brand new."
After showering, Ethan leaned against the door frame and just smiled without saying a word.
"This house also has bunk beds. Justin can stay here with Joe after he gets discharged from the hospital. The bunk beds are so spacious. Justin and Shen Xinghe will definitely sleep comfortably on the top bunk," Wilson said with genuine joy. She was really glad to have rented such an affordable house.
You see, the apartment where Emily lived, although provided by her workplace, started at fifteen thousand dollars in rent.
Ethan held Wilson in his arms with one hand and pulled her close. "My wife, let's go to sleep."
Wilson nodded, honestly thinking that they were simply going to sleep together.
So, when they finished making love, she was still considering Ethan's suggestion for them to sleep together in the future.
"Let's both get some good sleep. When we wake up, everything will be better," Wilson said, patting Ethan's back proactively as if he would protect her in the future.
Ethan smiled and pulled Wilson into his arms. "Do you know how scared I am?"
Wilson carefully touched Ethan's handsome face which made her heart race. "Don't be afraid, everything will get better."
"I'm not afraid of losing all those things. I'm afraid of losing you," Ethan would not worry about losing everything from Stellar Enterprises.
It was inevitable that Stellar Enterprises would decline under the hands of Daniel, Mrs. Douglas, and Howard.
It was just a matter of time. Ethan wanted to witness Stellar Enterprises continuously hitting roadblocks, declining performance, internal issues arising, and the board of directors going into ‘turmoil’. When that time came, he would definitely make his move.
Ethan had always been confident and sure in this aspect, but when faced with Wilson, he would become anxious and afraid.
Because he knew that he had missed six years of Wilson’s life, and those six years had been a huge blow to her.
The previous Wilson was like a noble pearl, but the following six years, not only made the pearl dusty, but more importantly, it caused cracks and fragmentation from within.
Wilson fell silent and did not speak.
Because she had truly considered leaving Ethan.
Once Justin’s condition stabilized, she planned to take him and leave Silverlight City, to a small town where no one knew them, and start their lives anew, then live out their lives.
If Ethan hadn’t been kicked out of Stellar Enterprises because of her, she might have actually left.
“Why are you staying quiet?” Ethan keenly sensed Wilson’s guilty conscience, and he knew that she had thoughts about leaving him.
He gritted his teeth, and dangerously propped himself up, trapping Wilson beneath him. "Are you thinking about leaving me?"
Wilson raised her hand to cover her face, unable to look at Ethan, her heart racing.
Even though they had been intimate so many times, Wilson would still blush and feel nervous when she saw Ethan.
And on top of that, recalling Emily's various teachings made Wilson blush even more.
Ethan realized that Wilson couldn't lie; she would blush when she lied.
He grabbed Wilson's chin, feeling sullen, and retaliated by kissing her again.
It seemed that he would have to use some tricks to keep her by his side.
Like having another child?
But the last time Wilson gave birth, he wasn't there, and she almost lost her life. He couldn't bear to let her suffer again.
"Wilson, you're not allowed to leave me," Ethan whispered in Wilson's ear, biting down gently.
Wilson felt a tingling sensation throughout her body, and she tightly held onto Ethan. "Ethan, I have to work tomorrow, let's go to sleep."
How could he still want to make love to her?
"I don't care, I'm afraid you'll leave me, and I can't sleep." Ethan acted like a stubborn child.
Wilson couldn't help but laugh at his behavior, she truly loved Ethan's contrasting nature.
His childish side only appeared in front of her, as if it were a special gift just for her, making Wilson feel cherished and happy.
"Just one time," seeing that Ethan showed no signs of stopping, Wilson could only compromise.
"Will you still leave me?" Ethan asked, lacking a sense of security.
Wilson hugged Ethan's neck, probably because she had been bullied. Her eyes were red, and her cheeks were flushed, making her look incredibly beautiful.
"Ethan, when everything gets better, let's have another baby," Wilson said. She wanted a daughter, so Justin could have a sister.
A boy can only truly grow into a young man when he becomes a brother.
Suddenly, Wilson thought of Evan, which made her eyes even more red.
Wilson had conflicting feelings toward Evan. She both hated him intensely and once loved him dearly.
Evan had always held her in the palm of his hand since she was little.
He was the one who told everyone that anyone who dared to bully his sister would receive his wrath.
But he almost took her life time and time again.
Ethan's body tensed, and he kissed Wilson with more force.
He knew that Wilson wanted to provide him with a sense of security.
"We don't want children anymore," Ethan reached for the condom on the bedside table. He didn't want Wilson to experience pain again. "Having Justin and Joe is enough."
"Joe?" Wilson stared at Ethan for a moment, puzzled.
Ethan took a deep breath. He had been worried that Wilson didn't want him these past few days, being busy with work, he had forgotten to bring up this important matter.
"Wilson, there's something I need to tell you, but you have to promise not to get too excited," Ethan reached out and lifted Wilson up, seating her on his lap. He playfully opened the condom packaging.
It was a rare moment when no one would disturb them. Ethan couldn't just stop now; he would lose out.
Wilson blushed deeply. "Don't tempt me."
Indeed, men's methods of seduction were even more powerful than women's.
Wilson felt a lack of resistance. She couldn't refuse Ethan's seduction each time, losing control of her mind.
At the Cunningham Family's mansion.
Joe sneezed a few times, rubbing his nose.
"My baby, are you catching a cold?" Edgar, wearing colorful summer resort pajamas, picked up his son.
"No, I just miss Mommy," Joe rubbed his nose. "Daddy, Justin can leave the observation room tomorrow, and we can go see him at the hospital."
Joe remembered it clearly.
Edgar nodded.
Just as he was about to say something, Edward returned with a gloomy face.
"Brother, why are you back so late? Where have you been these past few days?" Edgar asked.
Edward ignored Edgar.
"Hey, bro, are you coming with us to see Wilson's son tomorrow?" Edgar asked his determination to stand by Wilson evident on his face.
"Bro, Ethan has been kicked out of the house by the Goss family. He has nothing now. I think this is my chance. I'm planning to officially pursue Wilson," Edgar explained.
Edward glanced at Edgar. "No need to start. You've already finished. If you bother or bully Wilson again, I'll twist your head off," Edward warned.
