Chapter 279 This Time, It's Wilson's Turn to Protect Ethan

Ethan's residence.

Young Justin was holding hands with young Joe.

Casey had his arms around Justin's shoulders.

The three children stood in the yard, watching Claire bringing people to view the house.

"Why did you come to my house?" Justin curiously asked.

"Your house? A child with an unknown background dares to say this is your house?" Claire looked down at Justin, making a sarcastic remark. "Do you know how much this house is worth? Several billion dollars."

Justin blinked, not really grasping the concept of money, but he knew it meant it was valuable.

"Does several billion dollars mean a lot of money?" Joe tilted his head.
"Kid, I could buy your life with several million dollars," Claire's assistant laughed.

"What are you doing?" Wilson asked as he came home and saw those people sealing the house.

Claire scornfully glanced at Wilson. "Ethan messed up at the company. There was a flaw in a project worth several hundred billion dollars. We have frozen his funds, and now this house belongs to us."

Claire took a few steps in the yard and spoke with a smile. "Wilson, you really bring bad luck. Whoever associates with you is doomed."

If it weren't for Wilson, she might not have been able to bring Ethan down so quickly.

"It's all thanks to you that Ethan has been stripped of everything and kicked out of the Douglas Residence," Claire said with a smug smile.

Today, she was truly happy.

She had been waiting for this day for a long time.

"Grandma, why do you bully Uncle?" Casey was scared of Claire but still mustered the courage to speak. "Grandma, please stop laughing like that. Xinghe is scared."

Claire looked down on Casey with disdain. "You're just a useless person. Figure out who your real family is. Come here."

Casey hesitated for a moment and then chose to hold onto Justin's arm. "Justin is my friend."

"Hmph, just as useless as your dad," Claire scolded in a cold voice, walking towards the pool. "Get rid of all these things for me."

Wilson's anger surged, and her eyes turned red.

She knew that if Ethan had listened to Howard's advice, they wouldn't be in this situation today. But Claire had really gone too far in her treatment of Howard.

Howard was Ethan's biological father, after all.

Why would he treat him like this?

Wilson felt sorry for Ethan. She didn't know where he had gone, but he must be feeling miserable now.

"You have a spider on you, old witch," Joe pointed at Claire's arm and said there was a spider.

Claire looked down and let out a scream of fright. Losing her balance, she fell into the pool.

Justin jumped up in joy.

It was one of Joe's realistic toys.

"Help!" Claire flailed in the water, feeling embarrassed. It was already late autumn, and the water was indeed cold.

Wilson laughed, enjoying Claire's embarrassment.

Claire glared at Joe with intense anger. "You annoying kid, how dare you play tricks on me."

Saying that, she climbed out of the pool, ready to attack a child.

Wilson stood in front of Joe protectively. "This is Edgar's son. If you lay a finger on him, see if the Cunningham Family will forgive you," he said.

Claire's raised hand froze in mid-air. This was actually Edgar's son?

"Well, Daniel married Annabelle and became part of the Cunningham Family," Claire said arrogantly. "I am this little thing's elder, so it's only right that I educate him."

Wilson grabbed Claire's wrist and forcefully pushed her away.

Claire lost her balance and fell back into the pool.

Wilson felt a bit afraid, but she still stood tall.

She had to protect Justin, Joe, and Ethan.

From now on, things won't be the same as before.

Wilson understood the evil in human nature better than anyone.

When Ethan had everything, he was surrounded by friends and good people.

But when Ethan had nothing, everyone would harbor ill intentions towards him.

Wilson had to become strong in order to protect Ethan and Justin.

Otherwise, she didn't dare to think about how these people would bully them.

"Wilson!" Claire became anxious and pointed at Wilson while scolding her. "What are you all standing there for? Are you all dead?"

Claire's assistant stepped forward, ready to hit Wilson.

"I am Nolan's assistant. You can try hitting me," Wilson said, knowing she had no choice but to involve Nolan.

And she wasn't lying.

"If you dare to hit my mom, I'll have my dad send you to the police station," Joe said with frustration, standing protectively in front of Wilson.

Justin also stood protectively in front of Wilson, like a wolf cub ready to pounce and bite.

Wilson felt relieved and warm inside.

Casey had been hiding behind Wilson this whole time, but seeing Justin and Joe being brave, he also stepped forward. "Don't bully my aunt."

Claire's assistant hesitated for a moment, nervously looking at Claire.

Claire crawled out of the pool, trembling with anger. "Why are you all just standing there? Take action, you bunch of cowards. Are you afraid of a few kids? Useless idiots."

"But..." the assistant said, sounding scared.

Among these kids, besides Justin, who could they even provoke?

Joe came from the Cunningham Family, and Casey was Lisa's child.

"You look really ugly now, I really can't imagine that back then as a mistress, which aspect of yours could surpass Ethan's mother," Wilson purposely provoked Claire.

"Even if they gave me a slap." Claire was infuriated by Wilson. She shouted without caring about her image, "Wilson, you fell into my hands today, you deserved it. Catch her for me, I'll make sure she can never speak again."

"Back then, as a mistress, you killed Ethan's mother. She was the original wife of the chairman of Stellar Enterprises, I heard it all. You were afraid that I would tell Ethan, so you wanted someone to poison me with sulfuric acid in the mineral water to make me mute. Claire, you will face retribution." Wilson's eyes turned red as he stared at Claire with intense anger.

How could this woman be so malicious?

"Tear her mouth apart for me," Claire shouted shamelessly.

The bodyguards and assistants stepped forward, ready to take action.

The three children tightly protected Wilson.

A few people lifted the children up.

"The wife of the chairman of Stellar Enterprises, not even sparing the children," Wilson said loudly.

"I see that you're getting tired of living, aren't you?" Ethan's cold voice came from the entrance.

He got out of the car, kicked away the bodyguard who was holding Wilson, and threw a punch.

"Ethan, what are you now?" Claire laughed.

Ethan now had nothing, not even a house.

She was no longer afraid of him.

She could finally show her true face.

"No more pretending?" Ethan untied his tie, wrapped it around his hand, and threw a punch. "You've really worked hard all these years."

"I advise you to quickly leave this place with your wife and this unidentified child. This place is now mine," Claire sneered.

Wilson grabbed Ethan, feeling that it wasn't the right time to confront Claire. She gave him a signal with her eyes, indicating that he should leave quickly.

Ethan had originally wanted to teach Claire a lesson, but seeing Wilson giving him a signal, he followed her to the car.

"Why is she so miserable, did she fall into the swimming pool?" Ethan whispered, trying to get closer to Wilson.

Wilson whispered in reply, "She fell in twice."

Ethan burst into laughter.

Wilson felt sorry for Ethan.

With things being like this, he could still laugh.

"I'll tell you, she got furious just now and ordered her assistant to bully the children. I recorded it all, and I'll post it on Facebook later." Wilson whispered while handing his phone to Ethan.
