Chapter 950 Lyanna Comes to Prison to Joke with Rhett

With the Murray family eliminated, Vincent emerged as the biggest beneficiary. However, Vincent's purchase of Lyanna's shares remained confidential, leaving Lily completely unaware of his involvement.

Lily, who had expected to reap the rewards herself, was now furious at coming away empty-handed.

"You're saying you've already sold your shares?" Lily had pulled strings to arrange this meeting with Lyanna at an upscale restaurant.

Lyanna smiled softly. "That's right."

"How could you move so quickly?" Lily forced a laugh, masking her disbelief. "Do you not trust me?"

"Not at all—you misunderstand," Lyanna shook her head. "I have no head for business or running companies. Selling the shares was better for everyone—for me and for the company."

Lily's fingers tightened around her glass.

After all her effort to take down the Murray Group, someone else had swooped in and claimed the prize? Surely Lyanna hadn't sold to the Cunningham Group?

No, that couldn't be right. The Cunningham Group was barely keeping afloat. Could it be the Raymond Group?

"Who did you sell the shares to?" Lily asked, trying to hide her anxiety.

"I don't know them personally," Lyanna shrugged. "It was unanimously approved by the board. I couldn't have made that decision alone anyway."

Lily studied Lyanna with narrowed eyes. She had assumed Lyanna was a fool, but the woman was proving surprisingly shrewd, revealing nothing.

"Lyanna, I understand what you've been through with Rhett and Beck," Lily's eyes welled with tears. "I've experienced similar things—worse, even." She hoped to establish some emotional connection, desperate to discover who had acquired the Murray Group shares.

If it was the Raymond Group, Ethan would become nearly untouchable.

"Oh, you poor thing." Lyanna embraced Lily with apparent sympathy. "I've been seeing a therapist daily. If you need one, I can recommend Connor—he's brilliant."

Lily's expression darkened instantly.

"Lyanna, I want to treat you like a sister," she continued, her voice trembling. "I'd hoped to buy the Murray Group shares myself. Could you please find out who purchased them? It means so much to me—I'd like to buy them back if possible."

After a moment's hesitation, Lyanna nodded. "Alright, I'll ask around tomorrow."

"Thank you so much," Lily smiled, though her eyes remained cold.

After their meeting, Lily stormed to her car, her face twisted with anger. The Powell and Murray families had destroyed each other, and just when she'd finally toppled the Murrays, someone else had seized the opportunity.

Damn it all.

"Any news from the Raymond Group?" she snapped at her driver.

"Neither the Raymond Group nor the Cunningham family have announced any acquisition of Murray Group shares," he replied quickly. "It seems Lyanna sold elsewhere."

Lily's eyes narrowed. Not Ethan, not the Cunninghams.

Who else in Silverlight City had both the resources and audacity to purchase Lyanna's entire stake? This effectively meant the Murray Group would soon be renamed under new ownership.

"Have all the Powell family matters been handled?" Lily asked coldly. At least this wasn't a total loss—with those obstacles removed, the Powell family was now firmly under her control.

Despite her ruthlessness, Lily's rise from poverty to power was undeniably impressive. Using her pregnancy with twins to secure her position in the Powell family showed remarkable cunning. But her heart had grown too cold, her methods too cruel.

At the prison, Lyanna had arranged to visit both Rhett and Beck separately, dressed in a vibrant red dress that screamed celebration.

Rhett glowered at her across the visiting room glass. "You came dressed like that to mock me?"

"Rhett, how oblivious you are," Lyanna laughed softly. "I didn't come to watch you suffer—I came to enjoy it."

Rhett's hands trembled with rage, his fury palpable even through the barrier. The guards kept him firmly in his seat.

"Do you know what you look like now, Rhett?" Lyanna taunted. "Like a rabid dog finally caught by animal control."

"You think owning Murray Group shares makes you untouchable?" Rhett snarled. "Just wait until I get out!"

Lyanna laughed. "The shares? I sold them all."

Rhett stared in shock. "What did you say?"

"Don't look so surprised. The Murray Group has new owners now. It won't even be called the Murray Group anymore."

She leaned closer to the glass. "Oh, and you won't be getting out, Rhett. Your crimes were too heinous. As your family member, I've signed papers refusing any settlement. No leniency. You'll rot in here until you die."

Her innocent expression turned vicious. "I almost forgot to mention—I've arranged some special cellmates for you. They particularly enjoy handsome men. Since you're so fond of abusing women, perhaps you'll appreciate a change of perspective."

Rhett gaped at her, unable to reconcile this calculating woman with the frightened, weeping girl who once cowered in the Murray household.

Lyanna hung up the phone and stared coldly at him through the glass.

She had come specifically to witness his downfall.

She wanted him to suffer a fate worse than death.

The pain he had inflicted on her and countless innocent girls would be repaid in kind.

Monsters like him deserved to live in perpetual agony, begging for a death that wouldn't come.

"Lyanna! I'll kill you!" Rhett screamed as guards dragged him away.

Lyanna stood, wiping away a tear.

Next, she would visit Beck—the one who deserved even worse.
