Chapter 241 Joe Is Also Ethan's Son

"We raised Jasmine for twenty-one years. Whether it is to return the favor of raising her or because she owes Serena, she should pay up." Evan's voice came from the phone.

"You always say that Jasmine owes you. What does she owe you? The person who owes you is May, go find her. You're just picking on Jasmine because you think she's an easy target." Ethan didn't want to say too much to Evan.

"Jasmine clearly promised, but now she is backing out. This will kill Serena. Serena has been unconscious since she met her. She previously had a kidney removed due to a car accident, and now the other kidney is rapidly deteriorating. She can't hold on much longer. Does Jasmine really want to let her die?" Evan asked hurriedly.

"Then go treat Serena. Still no kidney source, still no volunteers?" Ethan thought Evan was simply a fool.

Even someone as well-mannered as Ethan was being driven to curse by anger.

"You know Jasmine's physical condition. She has congenital heart disease. Forcing her to donate a kidney would be killing her," Ethan spoke again.

On the other end of the phone, Evan fell silent, probably feeling guilty.

"Since you guys have become so malicious, she doesn't have to do what you want." Ethan lowered his voice. "This is my final warning to you. If you want anything from Jasmine in the future, come to me first."

After saying that, Ethan hung up the phone and set up call forwarding for Evan, Benjamin, and Karen's numbers.

"In the future, if they try to contact you, they will call me directly," Ethan said, pulling Jasmine into his arms with one hand.

Jasmine stared at Ethan for a long time, her eyes becoming increasingly red. "You knew I have a heart condition."

Choking on her words, Jasmine felt oppressed and struggled to breathe.

She thought that having congenital heart disease was her secret that only she knew.

The Wilson Family wouldn't tell anyone about it because they wanted her to donate a kidney.

"I've checked." Ethan's voice was hoarse.

He had asked Mitchell to investigate everything about Jasmine.

Ethan said, "Sorry, it's not that I don't trust you. I just wanted to know more about your past."

Jasmine slowly lifted her stiff hand and tightly hugged Ethan.

She didn't say anything, she just desperately absorbed his warmth in his embrace.

It was so good to have him by her side.

She seemed to have truly fallen in love with Ethan.

She was once again moved, but this made her panic.

Ethan said softly, "Don't be afraid, no matter what happens, you have me."

"Jasmine? Ethan? What're you doing!" In the living room, Edgar was howling.

Ethan took a deep breath, forgetting that Edgar hadn't left yet.

"Darling, let him go," Ethan complained, clearly wanting to make Jasmine happy.

Jasmine chuckled at Ethan's teasing, lowered her head to suppress her laughter, and wiped away her tears.

Ethan casually ruffled Jasmine's hair. "Let's have dinner."

Jasmine nodded and followed Ethan out of the restroom.

At the restaurant table, Edgar stared resentfully at Ethan, then glanced at Jasmine, whose eyes were red from crying. "Ethan, what did you do to Jasmine?"

"She was upset because of you, so I comforted her," Ethan replied annoyingly.

"Me?" Edgar pointed at himself in confusion and ran over. "Jasmine, did I make you
angry? Was it because I didn't wash the vegetables properly?"

Jasmine chuckled, and it seemed like her mood had suddenly improved. "No, it's not that. My eyes were just uncomfortable earlier."

"You scared me," Edgar said, wanting to sit in the seat next to Jasmine.

Ethan took Jasmine's hand and moved to the opposite side.

Edgar snorted.

Now, the two men glared at each other, finding each other more and more annoying.

"You guys can start eating, I'll go open the door." When the doorbell rang, Ethan knew it was Mitchell who had arrived.

The only person who could directly enter his yard was Mitchell.

"I'm here again." Outside the door, Mitchell leaned seductively against the wall.

Ethan rolled his eyes. If Edgar was a peacock in full display, then Mitchell was a dog.

Mitchell and Edgar definitely belonged to the same category.

"Tell me the result." Ethan closed the door nervously, cornering Mitchell.

"What are you afraid of?" Mitchell smirked and squinted his eyes as if he had caught Ethan's weakness. "That car in your garage..."

Ethan frowned, clearly losing patience. "The car is in the garage, you can pick any you want."

"Great." Mitchell sent the result to Ethan's phone. "Joe is Jasmine's son and also your son."

"Congratulations on your twin sons," Mitchell said smugly, looking around. "Ethan, how fortunate you are. The Cunningham family raised your son for five years, how will you repay them?"

Ethan took a sharp breath, unable to accept this news for a moment.

"However, this also indicated something. May did have a problem. Jasmine clearly gave birth to twins. Why did one child go missing? Richard wouldn't be unaware of this. Could Richard have a problem, too?" Mitchell pondered. "I also did some investigation for you. Jasmine did not give birth to the children in a proper hospital, and there were no medical records or prenatal check-ups. She gave birth in a private clinic. What May wants to do is quite simple."

It was crucial whether Richard knew about this. He inexplicably sent a child away. He only left Jasmine with a child. May was truly malicious.

"By the way, Jasmine and May are not related by blood, they are not mother and daughter." Mitchell sent another paternity test result to Ethan.

Ethan's face turned dark. The atmosphere in the room became tense.

Mitchell cleared his throat and subconsciously took a step back. From Mitchell's understanding of Ethan, he was furious.

"Are you okay?" Sensing that something was off with Ethan, Mitchell boldly asked.

Ethan didn't say anything. He leaned against the wall, finding it difficult to accept that Joe was his son as well. The sudden arrival of two additional sons was indeed hard to accept.

"Suddenly having two more sons, is it hard for you to accept? It's actually not a big deal. Have a good talk with Jasmine," Mitchell whispered.

"Let's investigate this matter first. I'm afraid she won't be able to handle it." Ethan bowed his head, rubbing his forehead. He needed to investigate this matter thoroughly.

If Jasmine wasn't May's daughter and not a child of the Wilson family, then whose child was she?

Where did May steal Jasmine?

"Is May a fraud?" Ethan's voice lowered. "From now on, keep an eye on May all the time and find out everything about her," Ethan said hoarsely.

Mitchell took a deep breath. May had really provoked Ethan.
