Chapter 376 The Wilson family was now Completely Famous.
Benjamin's face changed, and he quickly ran over, picking up two or three-year-old Sebastian. "Why didn't you go to the hospital?"
"Someone called and said you were in trouble; I was worried about you," the woman said, her voice choked up.
Benjamin, filled with remorse, guided the woman and child away, oblivious to the fact it was his daughter Serena's funeral, his wife was still present, and reporters swarmed the scene. "Benjamin!" Karen shouted uncontrollably, "Today is Serena's funeral. Dare you leave and try."
"You crazy woman." Benjamin frowned at Karen who was infuriated, rushing up to tear Sebastian and the woman in his arms. "Who is this slut? How many mistresses have you had outside all these years!"
"Don't go crazy here!" Benjamin warned Karen.
Karen, unable to bear seeing Benjamin protect another woman and child, couldn't stand it and tried to grab Sebastian.
Benjamin slapped Karen in the face.
Karen looked at Benjamin in shock. "You hit me? You hit me for your mistress?"
Benjamin looked at Karen with disgust. "This is my son, Sebastian. I'm telling you, in the future, everything in the Wilson family belongs to him . Stop acting crazy; if you don't want to, then get out!"
"Benjamin! I've been with you for so many years. Evan has sacrificed so much for this family, and you say that everything in the Wilson family will belong to Sebastian?" Karen's figure was unsteady.
Jasmine leaned on Ethan's chest, watching the scene from the side.
Now, she could watch all this calmly.
It was like a dream.
"Don't force me to expose you in front of so many people. Is Evan really my son? You know it yourself. All these years, you haven't even given me a son, yet you want someone else's son to inherit the Wilson family's fortune. You're dreaming!" Benjamin was also driven mad to say such things.
The media went crazy taking photos; this was truly a spectacular performance.
There wasn't enough time to digest all this gossip.
These eyes weren't enough.
Now, not only Karen was stunned, but everyone was, including Evan and Jasmine.
Jasmine looked up at Ethan. "Was this also arranged by you in advance?"
"I really don't know, it's a pleasant surprise," Ethan muttered softly,
Jasmine took a deep breath. Evan wasn't Benjamin's son?
"What do you mean?" Evan's voice trembled.
Benjamin frowned. "There are reporters everywhere; if you don't want to embarrass yourself, then shut up."
Karen took a step back. "Benjamin! All these years, you've been suspicious of me, but Serena is your daughter. Today is Serena's funeral!"
Jasmine looked at Karen, feeling sorry for her. Every pitiful person must have their reasons.
Karen had really walked step by step to this point.
"Karen, do you really think Serena is your daughter who was replaced by someone else?" Ethan timely added another jab.
Now that it was so lively, Ethan had to make the Wilson family even more lively.
Karen wasn't crazy enough yet.
"What do you mean?" Karen's voice trembled.
Ethan raised his hand, and the people who came in were from an appraisal agency, holding two appraisal results. "Karen, this one is Serena and Benjamin's appraisal result. Serena is indeed Benjamin's daughter, but this one is the appraisal result of Serena and you. You are not her mother."
Karen stood trembling in place, unable to recover for a long time.
Evan anxiously stepped forward and snatched the two results. After reading them, he looked at Jasmine with a complicated expression as if pleading. "Are you trying to kill Karen?"
Karen had been proud all her life and had sacrificed so much for Serena. If Karen found out the truth now, she would collapse.
Even if Evan wanted to escape from Karen, she was still his mother.
Jasmine clenched her hands, her eyes red as she spoke, "Desperate? Evan, when I was desperate, what were you doing? When I knelt down and begged you, what were you doing?"
"Do you want me to kneel down too?" Evan looked at Jasmine and Ethan.
"Is kneeling down useful?" Jasmine questioned,
Evan slowly closed his eyes, tightly holding onto the two results.
"What do you mean, Evan? What do you mean, Ethan?" Karen was starting to lose it, her voice hoarse.
"Serena is not your daughter," Evan said, breathing heavily.
Karen took a step back.
"Serena is May's daughter, the illegitimate child of May and Benjamin. May couldn't stand to see Jasmine living a good life, so she conspired with Serena to return to the Wilson family and take everything from Jasmine," Ethan said indifferently,
There was no mercy.
"It's impossible. Jasmine is not Benjamin's daughter. I've done a paternity test." Karen shook her head in madness.
Jasmine was not Karen's daughter.
"Yes, Jasmine is indeed not your daughter with Benjamin; she was a child stolen by May. But Serena is also not your daughter; she's just Benjamin's daughter. For these six years, you've indulged and spoiled Serena in every way, all for raising someone else's child. How ironic." Ethan sneered.
Karen glanced at Benjamin, whose face had turned ashen; clearly, he was well aware of the predicament. "Tell me this isn't true," Karen asked Benjamin,
"I don't know." Benjamin was a bit impatient, taking the young woman to leave.
"Benjamin! I'll kill you! Give me back my daughter!" Karen was losing it, rushing up to tear at the young woman's hair and pounce on the ground. "Where is my daughter? Where is my daughter!"
Jasmine and Serena were not her daughters, so where was her daughter really?
"Haven't you looked for the reasons within yourself? You're too arrogant and malicious." Ethan looked at Karen. The show had reached this point; they should leave, too. "This is what you deserve."
Ethan turned around and reached out to Jasmine who smiled at him and took his hand, leaving.
Karen was still going crazy, crying out for Ethan to tell her who her biological daughter really was.
But Ethan ignored her.
Karen went mad, the reporters took some photos, and the Wilson family's people drove them away.
A funeral had turned into a farce.
Before leaving, Jasmine looked back at Serena's portrait, wanting her to witness all of this.
Maple Grove.
Evelina sat by the window, drinking coffee.
Alex was a bit anxious to leave, but when he saw Evelina's back, he subconsciously slowed down, afraid of being heard by her.
"Where are you going?" Evelina didn't turn around, asking,
"There's a project in Silverlight City, I'll be on a business trip for a few days," Alex casually replied,
"All the news about the Wilson family has exploded. They say Karen's eldest son Evan is not Benjamin's son at all, but a child born out of wedlock. Before Karen married Benjamin, guess whose son this Evan really is?" Evelina's voice was unusually calm.
Alex took a deep breath, his fingertips numb. "Evelina, I really didn't know about this, I..."
"You're going back to Silverlight City to see Karen, aren't you?" Now that the Wilson family was in chaos and had been turned into a mess, did he suddenly feel sorry?
"I heard that Karen has gone mad."
