Chapter 829 Jasmine and Daniel Disappear Simultaneously

"Do you only care about money and sex?" Hestia stood up and glanced at the time. "I'm sorry, but with you here, I don't want to stay any longer. We're all classmates, and after graduation, I hope everyone can have a better life, which achieved through your own efforts."

She picked up her bag, turned to leave, then stopped and looked at Saul. "I am indeed married. It's inconvenient to show you the marriage license, but I am married. I also hope you can be happy, Saul."

With that, Hestia left.

The manager followed her out, wanting to say something, but Hestia stopped him. "Thank you. How much did Edward pay you?"

The manager thought honestly. "Mr. Cunningham is a big client. Referring more business to me is worth more than money."

Hestia nodded. Indeed, their hotel needed to attract clients, and Edward had some connections in the company. Introduce someone for socializing was essentially giving money indirectly.

"You're very dedicated." She entered the elevator and waved to the manager.

In the room, Jessa was still trying to save face. "Saul, take a look. This is the 'innocent girl' you talked about. Whether the wedding is real or not, hiring someone to put on a show today is truly embarrassing. I bet she won't even have the face to attend the graduation ceremony in a few days."

Saul looked at Jessa coldly. "Do you find it amusing to target her like this? Do you think belittling her elevates you? No matter what Hestia has become, she's much better than you."

With that, heturned and left.

Jessa was stunned, then angrily looked around, seeing everyone laughing at her.

With reddened eyes, she angrily chased after him.

"Saul, what do you mean!" Jessa angrily caught up to him.

Saul stopped and looked at Jessa. "Do you think you're so great that you can take everything from Hestia? Then show me your skills."

Jessa was taken aback. "What do you mean?"

"If Hestia is really in a relationship or married, with your skills, you should be able to steal her partner, right?" Saul looked at Jessa.

Jessa clenched her hands and choked out, "Saul, what do you take me for?"

Saul laughed. "Don't overestimate yourself, Jessa, you know very well I can't marry you. There's no point in continuing to pester me. Just tell me what you want. A stable job? My dad's position in Silverlight City can help you. Or do you want money and connections? Whatever I can give you, I will, but you have to help me."

Jessa looked at him in shock, unable to say a word for a long time.

Finally, she slowly spoke. "Fine, deal."

Saul sneered and turned to leave.

She was pretending to be deeply in love, pestering him just because she knew his family background was decent.

Then make the most of her bu stealing Hestia's current boyfriend.

He didn't want to hurt Hestia, he just wanted her to know that all men were the same, all make mistakes. He had minimized the harm and mistakes, and his heart would always belong to her alone.

He had never been with another woman, and that night with Jessa was just an accident.

He knew Hestia was pure and stubborn. He wasn't in a hurry, he had to slowly make Hestia understand that he was the best choice.

Edward's rental apartment.

Hestia returned and angrily sat on the sofa, drinking cold water.

These classmates were too much, especially Jessa.

Looking at the bag Edgar gave her, Hestia muttered, "So what if it's fake? I think it's pretty."

Putting the bag aside, she went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

She didn't know if Edward would come back for dinner tonight. How were things going on his end?

After making dinner, Hestia gathered the courage to call Edward.

Edward answered, sounding a bit tired. "Honey."

"Are you coming back for dinner tonight?" Hestia asked cautiously.

"My sister was in a car accident, and we haven't found her yet. I can't come back for now," Edward said softly.

Hestia's heart sank instantly, and she asked nervously, "How could she be missing? Where are you? Can I come over to help?"

"In Boston. Don't worry, take care of yourself. Her car fell off the overpass, and the rescue team is still working. She'll be fine," Edward reassured softly.

Hestia quickly nodded. "I'll take care of myself. Don't worry. Call me if you need anything."

After hanging up, Hestia sat nervously on the sofa, praying for Jasmine's safety.

Boston.

Ethan was soaking wet, sitting dejectedly by the river.

"Jasmine will be fine. After the car fell, she and Daniel went missing simultaneously. It's clear they were taken by Kavi's people," Raymond frowned, looking at his phone. "My people checked the nearby surveillance. Kavi's people went into the water too, they must have taken them."

Ethan's eyes were deep, his hands clenched tightly.

He originally didn't want to get involved in the Hughes family's affairs, but Kavi was asking for it.

Ethan's phone rang.

Everyone instantly became alert, worried it was a dangerous call from Kavi.

Ethan answered.

"Mr. Douglas, long time no see." On the other end, it wasn't Kavi, but Lily.

Ethan frowned, his face instantly darkening. "Lily."

"Glad Mr. Douglas still remembers me." Lily chuckled on the other end. "I heard Jasmine had an accident."

Ethan's voice was low. "Lily, what do you want..."

"Don't get excited." Lily interrupted him. "Jasmine will be fine. Kavi and Amara are in cahoots. I just think the enemy of my enemy is my friend. We can cooperate. I can help you locate Jasmine in the shortest time."

Lily was confident, telling Ethan she could find Jasmine quickly.

And Ethan would believe her because when it came to Jasmine, Ethan would lose his rationality, he only wanted results.

"Show me your purpose," Ethan's voice was hoarse, filled with intense pressure.

"Some people in the Powell family are preventing me from stabilizing my position. Some say I caused Xavier's death," Lily said calmly. "It's all Amara's doing."

"You better not waste words," Ethan demanded Lily state her purpose directly.

"If the Raymond Group can strategically cooperate with the Powell Corporation, and I secure this deal, it will help me," Lily said quietly.

She only wanted a mutually beneficial business cooperation.

"Twenty-four hours. I want to know my wife's location in twenty-four hours. If you can help me find her, I'll agree to any condition," Ethan only wanted Jasmine.

"Deal." Lily hung up with a smile.

Raymond frowned. "We can find her in twenty-four hours too."

"Since she's so confident, do you think Jasmine's accident has nothing to do with her?" Ethan's voice was low. "Twenty-four hours is too long. Raymond, I'll give you ten hours. If you can't find Jasmine, I'll use Lisa to exchange for her."

Raymond gritted his teeth. "Fine."

So Jasmine was more precious than Lisa?
