Chapter 317 Aurora Jumps off the Building in Front of Richard.

After she said that, her brothers must have sympathized with her, right?

As long as they sympathize with her, Nolan will cause trouble for Jasmine.

"Fake," Nolan replied directly while holding a glass of water, "In the future, stay away from those who backbite behind your back. They not only lie without hesitation but also don't want you to be well. They are bad, and you need to learn to distinguish."

Nolan told Annabelle, "You are my sister. Who dares to bully you? If Daniel dares to mess around outside, I will kill him."

Annabelle stared at Nolan in astonishment. He actually trusted Jasmine so much.

It seemed that she couldn't let Jasmine stay in the Cunningham Group anymore.

"I know Daniel indeed pursued Jasmine, but Jasmine only loves Ethan and won't actively provoke Daniel." Nolan gritted his teeth and spoke, glaring at Edward.

That meant telling Edward, "Don't have any illusions about Jasmine. Her heart belongs only to Ethan."

Edward snorted. "So, it's all Daniel's wishful thinking. Daring to make Annabellecry, I'll have Edgar beat him up tomorrow."

Edgar, who came out washing up with the little guy, looked puzzled. "Who are you going to beat?"

"Daniel." Edward raised an eyebrow.

Edgar looked eager. "Won't Annabelle feel upset?"

Seeing the situation turning unfavorable, Annabelle originally wanted her brothers to deal with Jasmine, but unexpectedly, the focus shifted to Daniel in the end.

She couldn't really let them beat Daniel.

"Let's forget it." Annabelle lowered her head and returned to her room.

Nolan glanced at Edward, snorted, and left. They hadn't reconciled yet.

Nolan harbored a grudge against Edward for punching him.

"It's over. Nolan is holding a grudge," Edgar whispered.

"He will thank me in the future," Edward said lazily.

"Do you think he'll appreciate you hitting him? It's still not enough; he is still exploiting employees, always making Jasmine work overtime without knowing if she's paid for it." Edgar muttered under his breath.

"Haven't you given up yet?" Edward asked sarcastically.

"Am I the kind of person who gives up easily? Impossible. I'm watching Ethan. If he treats Jasmine even slightly badly, I'll immediately take Jasmine away." Edgar declared firmly.

"Oh." Edward straightened up, scrutinizing Edgar. "I advise you to give up early. You are far inferior to Ethan."

"Why are you so biased?" Edgar was indignant.

Edward spoke cryptically, "You will thank me in the future."

Edgar felt that Edward had been acting strangely recently but couldn't pinpoint what was wrong.

Richard's residence.

Betty held a video conference on her computer, just finishing a meeting with Serafina's CEO, when she heard someone knocking on the door outside.

After knocking for a while with no response, the person entered directly with a password.

Betty thought it was Richard, so she put down her computer with a smile, wanting to surprise him. However, when the door opened, it was Aurora.

Betty frowned slightly, looking displeased. "How did you know the password to my house?"

Aurora seemed surprised to see Betty at Richard's place. 'Isn't she the noble Betty? How could you stay in Richard's rental house.' Aurora thought.

"How do you know the password to my house? If you don't tell me, I'll call the police." Betty's voice was low.

Aurora didn't seem worried at all. She skillfully took out Richard's slippers from the shoe cabinet and put them on. "I've been with Richard for so many years. It's only been a few years since we separated. I know him very well. The password is from our anniversary when we were together."

Betty's expression darkened, and she sarcastically remarked, "I find yourare shamelessness. It seems I need to call the police to arrest you. After all, you trespassed into a private residence."

Seeing Betty about to call the police, Aurora finally spoke calmly, "Five years ago, I graduated from college and planned to marry Richard. We had met each other's parents, although my parents didn't really approve of Richard. But I loved him and was willing to marry him." Aurora looked at Betty.

"One day, one came to me and offered me 100,000 dollars to leave Richard. My father happened to be sick and needed a lot of money. Richard couldn't come up with it, and I was forced to accept the money." Aurora walked step by step to Betty. "At that time, I was curious. Richard was just an uneducated mechanic. What was worth someone to offer 100,000 dollars back then to make me leave him?"

Betty took a deep breath, clenching her fingers.

"100,000 dollars may not be a big number for people like you, but for Richard and me, it's astronomical. With 100,000 dollars, my father's illness could be cured, I could buy a house for them in town, and I would have enough funds to study abroad and change my current life. I thought this was the path I should take, so I agreed." Aurora looked into Betty's eyes, recounting past events.

"Why are you telling me all this?" Betty was starting to feel flustered , even if she was mentally strong.

"Because I found the one who gave me the money back then, and I found out that it was you, Betty, who schemed to drive me away from Richard. It turns outyou had your eye on Richard five years ago."

"I heard that you had someone find Richard to be a bodyguard for five years, and he finally agreed this year." Aurora turned around, looking at the decor of the rental house. "You actually know very well that Richard loves me. Look at his habit of placing a green plant next to the TV. I told him that back then."

Betty took a deep breath, looking at Aurora coldly. "I don't know what you're talking about. Now get out."

"With my understanding of Richard, if he knew that the person who drove me away five years ago was you and that you've been plotting against him all these years, wouldn't Richard find you terrifying? You rich people are so self-righteous." Aurora said angrily, her eyes red. "Who do you think you are? Hunters? Can you make us play these despicable games with money? Are you happy watching us suffer, separate? Are you pleased?"

"You're not worthy of Richard," Betty spoke coldly.

"I am the one who deserves Richard, not you. You're noble. You and Richard are not even in the same world!" Aurora seemed a bit hysterical. "You don't understand how much I love Richard."

"How ironic. If you love him, would you leave him for 100,000 dollars? After leaving him for so many years, unable to make it outside, and now wanting to come back to find him, what do you take him for? A garbage dump?" Betty grabbed Aurora's wrist. "I hate being threatened. You'd better get out now!"

After saying that, Betty threw Aurora out of the door.

Seeing Aurora fall to the ground, she still bent down to pick up Richard's slippers.

Then she cleanly threw them into the trash can outside. "Dirty!"

Aurora sat on the ground in a sorry state, looking at Betty. "I'll tell Richard!" she threatened.

"Try it." Betty looked down at Aurora.

Richard came out of the elevator and saw Betty hugging herself while Aurora was on the ground.

Seeing Richard, Aurora cried as she got up, climbed over the fence outside, and was about to jump off. "Richard, I don't believe you don't love me anymore. I want you to owe me for the rest of your life."

After saying that, she jumped straight down.
