Chapter 313 Betty Wants to Have a Baby with Richard?
Betty was a little angry. "Why are you still here? He has a girlfriend now, and you're history. Can you give yourself some dignity?"
Betty wanted to lash out, but Richard's presence made her hold back.
"Aurora, you go," Richard said, holding Betty's hand, not letting her go home alone this time.
Betty snorted and possessively wrapped her arms around Richard's.
Aurora, with tears in her eyes, looked at Richard. "Do you really have no feelings for me anymore? Do your past words mean nothing?"
Richard remained silent, his head lowered.
"You're putting him in a tough spot," Betty frowned.
"I left you because I had no choice. Can't you listen to my explanation? You always said you loved me, but you never asked why I left. Someone forced me to leave you," Aurora cried and questioned Richard.
Richard looked up at Aurora, his brows furrowed.
"Do you want to hear more?" Betty instinctively held Richard's hand, opening the door to go inside.
Richard didn't ask further. After all, they were over.
"Aurora, go back. If you need help, contact Madison. As you can see, I have a girlfriend now," Richard said in a deep voice.
"She doesn't love you. She's been playing with your feelings. She will hurt you," Aurora anxiously tried to grab Richard's arm.
But Richard took a step back.
Aurora looked at Richard in a daze.
The man who loved her with all his heart had changed. As a woman, her intuitionhad always been accurate.
She knew better than anyone that Richard might not love her anymore.
"Richard, I'll die without you," Aurora cried.
"Richard, where's Betty?" Jasmine came out of the elevator and coincidentally met Aurora.
Jasmine was stunned for a moment, they hadn't seen each other in a long time. The last time she saw Aurora was six years ago.
Aurora looked much brighter back then than it does now.
Aurora glanced at Jasmine, panicked, as if she was afraid of something, turned around and ran.
Richard called Madison. "Madison, did you give Aurora my home address? You're responsible if anything happens to her."
"Richard, is there really no chance between you two? You were so in love with her before. I saw you drinking yourself into a stupor when she left. Do you really forget?" Madison was doubtful.
He always felt that in the past, Richard loved Aurora too much.
"I have a girlfriend now," Richard reminded again. "It's not fair to my girlfriend if you keep talking about Aurora ."
"Are you serious?" Madison wondered if Richard was being swayed by his new girlfriend.
"Yes," Richard said in a deep voice.
"How about bringing your new girlfriend to meet us? You know, we all consider you our best friend, especially since you retired due to injury..." Madison sighed. "All right, we respect your choice."
"Okay, I'll bring her to meet you when we have the chance," Richard agreed and hung up.
Jasmine, holding a shoulder bag, spoke softly. "Did Aurora come to find you?"
Richard nodded.
"What about Betty?" Jasmine looked around, then grabbed Richard's wrist. "You can't do anything to hurt Betty. Aurora was an adult at that time, and she had to bear the consequences of her choices."
Richard smiled and nodded. "Aren't you and Ethan going to meet Everharts?"
Jasmine nodded. "Betty asked me to come over and get a gift for Mrs. Everhart, she knew what Mrs. Everhart liked"
Richard paused and looked back at Betty, who was standing at the door.
She was actually quite thoughtful, and she was very supportive of his and Ethan's entrepreneurial endeavors.
"Is your ex-girlfriend gone?" Betty asked, her face showing a hint of jealousy.
Richard didn't say anything.
Jasmine chuckled, went into the living room to get the gift, and then left.
Richard felta little jealous, and he hugged her from behind. "I'm so tired."
"Answer me directly," Betty huffed.
"Let's go," Richard nodded.
"Richard..." Betty hesitated.
In fact, she still didn't feel secure.
"If you want a divorce, say it in advance. I'm busy, and it's hard to schedule," Betty reminded Richard.
"What if you're the one who wants to get a divorce?" Richard asked.
"Me?" Betty raised her chin proudly. "Then you come over and divorce me."
Richard held Betty in his arms and walked toward the bedroom. "I'm tired, let's sleep."
"You said you were tired. Just sleep. Don't touch me!" Betty discovered that as long as a man has sex with a woman, don't expect him to sleep quietly in bed.
In the past, she often teased Richard, but to no avail.
Now, it changed...
Betty bit her lip, feeling a sense of revenge. "Richard, you used to be so reserved when I teased you."
Richard pinned Betty beneath him, smiling. "Are you settling the score with me now?"
"I was just lying on the bed in a nightgown, and you told me to be more reserved. Why aren't you being reserved now?" Betty smiled seductively, her hand on Richard's neck full of charm. " Dear, are you going to continue enduring..."
Richard felt that this seductress was here to test him.
He helplessly held Betty's restless hand and leaned in to kiss her.
Betty responded eagerly, her legs tightly wrapped around his waist.
Getting married had changed things. Betty seemed more open now.
"You naughty thing..." Richard's voice was hoarse.
"You heartless stone..." Betty retorted.
"I used to think you were a monk. No matter how I tried to seduce you, you never took the bait." Betty bit Richard's handsome and prominent Adam's apple.
Richard tightened his grip on Betty's hand. "You seduced me, don't cry."
"You're the one crying. When did I ever cry?" Betty's tone was defiant.
"Come on." Richard reached for a condom at the bedside, but Betty deliberately teased him, not allowing him to take it.
"We're already married. Why do we need a condom?" Betty deliberately sat on Richard's lap.
Richard paused, looking at Betty, his gaze becoming increasingly intense.
For a moment, Richard thought Betty wanted a child.
"Don't misunderstand. It's my safe period." Betty rolled her eyes and hugged Richard, with accelerated heartbeat.
Richard sighed in relief and bit Betty's ear.
Indeed, she would not want children.
This marriage was just a transaction, and it would naturally end when her interest waned.
Bellagio Hotel.
Ethan walked into the antechamber with a very well-dressed Jasmine in her dress.
They happened to meet Daniel and Annabelle, who were there for a social event.
Annabelle, in high heels, had been holding Daniel's hand, looking like a loving couple. But the moment she saw Ethan, she almost instinctively let go.
"Ethan!" Annabelle greeted him with a smile.
Ethan ignored her.
Annabelle felt a bit awkward.
Daniel glanced at Jasmine and tightened his grip on his hand.
He was unwilling.
Obviously, both he and Annabelle were unwilling.
"Is Ethan here to see Mr. and Mrs. Everhart?" Annabelle asked, her voice tinged with annoyance. "What a coincidence. We are here for the same reason."
Annabelle was being intentional.
Jasmine frowned and tightened her grip on Ethan's hand.
Annabelle was deliberately interfering, hoping to disrupt their cooperation this time.
