Chapter 246 Daniel and Evan fought.

"Evan! What nonsense are you talking about! They are tricking you." Karen, after all, was smarter. She lowered her voice to make Evan shut up.

He felt that even if it were true, he shouldn't let others find any evidence against him.

Betty rolled her eyes. "See, they really are family."

After saying that, Betty turned to look at Serena, who had fainted on the hospital bed. "Did she really faint?"

"No one cares! This family is disgusting," Mitchell said in a deep voice. "Evan, Wilson has watched you grow up after all. You've been together for twenty-one years. Do you really not have any feelings for her at all? Did you really treat her like this just for Serena? Or are you trying to cover up something?"

Evan lowered his head, feeling guilty and avoiding eye contact.

Ethan's eyes were gloomy, and his voice was low as he said, "The Wilson Family's actions toward my wife have far exceeded their nurturing favor. Until today! If you use the guise of nurturing to kidnap and threaten Wilson, I will never let you off easily. If you don't believe it, you can try."

Benjamin took in a deep breath; Ethan's words almost took his breath away.

Benjamin was well aware of Ethan's abilities.

So, he knew he couldn't confront him directly now.

He could only wait for Claire and Howard to eliminate Ethan as a threat before making further plans.

Karen wanted to say something, but Benjamin pulled her back. "Forget it," Karen hummed, not saying anything.

"As for Evan and Serena, hurting Wilson with such despicable means. You owe her, and I will make sure you pay," Ethan said in a deep voice.

Evan's eyes turned red, not saying anything.

This matter had tormented him for many years.

He also wanted closure.

"Even if Evan and Serena were wrong in what happened to Wilson, Richard, as May's son, owes Serena," Karen said again after a moment, compromising. She planned to have Richard donate his kidney.

"Richard may or may not owe you," Ethan said, his gaze resting on Richard. "Come with me."

Richard was taken aback and felt somewhat uneasy.

"Why are you being so harsh?" Betty frowned, stopping Ethan. "It was the Wilson Family that made you angry. Be nicer to Richard."

"Don't continue protecting him, okay?" Ethan felt speechless about Betty's actions.

"When you protect Wilson, you're even scarier than me," Betty snapped at him.

"Fine, let's mind our own business and not interfere with each other." Ethan stepped out of the hospital room and glanced at Daniel, who was standing outside with a pale face.

"Hey, isn't this the fiance who was taken away?" Betty's words were always sharp. "Because of an unfounded accusation, your fiance was bullied, and instead of protecting her, you even bullied her yourself. You truly have no shame."

Disdainfully glancing at Daniel, she continued, "You deserve to lose Wilson."

Daniel's hands trembled, and his eyes became even redder.

The Wilson Family members also noticed Daniel and panicked.

"Daniel," Karen's voice trembled, unsure if Daniel heard her.

Daniel stared at Evan menacingly like a wild beast.

Evan glanced at Daniel but remained silent.

"Daniel, calm down."

Daniel threw a punch at Evan.

"Oh, stop, stop!"

"Daniel, this is the hospital, stop fighting, calm down."

Evan did not fight back but allowed Daniel to hit him.

"Stop fighting, Serena is still sick," Karen cried out sharply, trying to separate Daniel and Evan.

But Daniel continued to attack Evan as if he had gone mad.

In the hallway, Ethan glanced back with deep eyes and snorted, leaving with Richard and Betty. He thought to himself, 'This is the consequence he should bear. He deserved to lose Wilson.'

"If Daniel were smarter, you wouldn't have any trouble," Betty teased Ethan. "But I think Daniel will definitely take this opportunity to divorce the Wilson Family. After all, Serena is sick, and Claire, being so shrewd, must have wanted a divorce a long time ago."

Ethan stopped in his tracks and looked at Betty. "So, let me remind you. If Daniel divorces the Wilson Family and then tries to pursue Wilson again, will Wilson and Daniel end up together?"

Betty raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Richard, control your woman. She talks too much." Ethan couldn't stop Betty, so he had to rely on Richard.

"Look, he's panicking! He's panicking!" Betty wanted to say something else, but Richard covered her mouth and hugged her.

"Betty is right. You have to treat Wilson even better. Feel a little sense of crisis," Mitchell joined in, cheering on.

"Just because of Daniel? My wife isn't that foolish," Ethan confidently said.

In the hospital parking lot, Ethan let Betty get into Mitchell's car first. "You guys look like you're about to fight?" Betty was a little worried, but she knew Ethan was a prudent person, so she obediently got into the car.

"What's up with those two?" Betty asked Mitchell.

"It's nothing. It's about Wilson. Ethan just wanted to ask him a few things," Mitchell explained.

Betty nodded. "What do you think of Richard?"

"You're asking me?" Mitchell pointed at himself.

"What's wrong? Can't I ask you?" Betty thought Mitchell was talking too much.

"Maybe it's because he grew up in poverty and suffered a lot. He's so similar to Wilson. He seems a bit reserved. If he were the heir of a wealthy family, with his ambition, he definitely wouldn't be a nobody. It's a shame." Mitchell also thought it was a pity.

He felt that if Wilson's family hadn't encountered any misfortunes, she wouldn't have become so lowly as she is now.

"He needs some time to regain his previous personality and temperament." Betty propped her head up, her gaze always on Richard.

"Betty, are you serious?" Mitchell and Betty were elementary school classmates, and he knew her too well. "Are you really falling for him? Are you serious?"

"I'm not like you!" Betty rolled her eyes at him.

Mitchell also rolled his eyes.

"He has the sense of security that I want," Betty said.

Mitchell didn't say anything; he had heard about Betty's situation.

Meanwhile, outside the car, Richard took the initiative and said, "Mr. Ethan Douglas, what can I help you with?"

"Was Wilson pregnant with twins back then?" Ethan asked.

He wanted to trust Richard this time.

Richard froze for a moment, looking at Ethan. "How did you know?"

Ethan frowned, thinking, 'Things are just as I suspected.'

"Why was only Justin left in the end?" Ethan's voice was low, hoping Richard would tell the truth.

"Don't tell Wilson about this; I'm afraid it would break her heart," Richard sighed.
