Chapter 103 Martin catches Fannie

Patricia hesitated for a moment, "I didn't plan on inviting Martin tonight."

"......??"

Patricia explained, "Last time Fannie caused trouble at his chip release event. If he comes tonight, Fannie won't show up! I know Fannie really likes Randy, so I simply didn't invite him."

Fannie nodded desperately, "Yes! I really miss Randy, I want to see him."

Jade sympathized, "You're having a family dinner without Martin?"

"......??"

Jade sighed, "Ah, suddenly I feel sorry for him!"

"......??" Patricia felt a twinge of guilt in her heart.

Nevertheless, Martin was wholeheartedly committed to rescuing Charles this time. Even before realizing Charles was his son, he took the initiative to personally save him.

She felt genuinely appreciative of this strong bond of affection.

Although the entire family gathered for dinner, it felt incomplete and unkind without Martin.

Charles patted Patricia's shoulder and comforted her, "There will be another chance, this time let's not call him 'Father,' and let the four of us have a good time together. Today is our first official meeting, don't let 'Father' ruin the atmosphere."

With Charles' comfort, Patricia instantly felt much better.

Charles printed out the evidence from the computer and handed it to Patricia, saying, "Keep it safe and personally give it to 'Father' tomorrow. This money belongs to the three of us siblings, we can't let Debbie benefit from it for free."

"Alright!" Patricia carefully placed the evidence into her bag.

It was a rare occasion for the three siblings to meet formally, and everyone was looking forward to it.

After a prolonged wait, evening finally arrived. Fannie and Jade headed to Basque Taste Room 005 first. Meanwhile, Patricia took Charles to the hospital to pick up Randy.

As the two brothers faced each other for the first time, both sides were filled with astonishment, feeling like they were gazing into a mirror.

Especially for Randy, observing Charles, who matched him in height and appearance, felt surreal. He stared wide-eyed in amazement, unable to resist reaching out to touch his face.

The warmth in his hand reassured him. It wasn't a dream. It was real. This was genuinely his twin brother.

Overwhelmed with the realization, Randy, who had always yearned for siblings, couldn't hold back tears. He hugged Charles, excitedly calling him.

"Brother, brother... I finally have a brother..."

His emotions affected Charles.

Charles' eyes reddened, and like an adult, he gently patted Randy's back, comforting him, "I am your brother and after this, the two of us will never be separated again."

Randy's tears fell more fiercely. Pitter-patter, instantly wetting Charles' clothes. Charles let him cry as much as he wanted, not disturbing him, gently patting his back throughout.

Looking at the tightly embraced two, Martin and Patricia beside couldn't help but get teary-eyed.

Especially Patricia, this scene of brothers reuniting took her over four years to witness. The only regret was that Fannie couldn't recognize them. Randy finished crying and reluctantly let go of Charles, wiping his nose and tears haphazardly, smiling like a fool.

"Charles, I stained your clothes! You should change into my clothes!" Speaking, he took out a clean set of clothes from the wardrobe and handed them to him. Charles took the clothes and went into the bathroom.

After a moment, he came out in his new outfit.

Although only four and a half years old, he was a head taller than his peers, wearing a cold, British-style blue shirt that made him look dignified, resembling a little prince coming out of a castle. His fair skin accentuated his light pink lips, striking facial features, perfect face shape, and remarkably adorable handsomeness.

After changing into Randy's clothes, the two brothers looked exactly the same, as if they were copy-pasted. Patricia and Martin were stunned. Randy excitedly ran over to him and circled around.

"Charles, you look so handsome in this outfit, really good-looking..."

Charles playfully teased, "Are you complimenting yourself?"

Randy stuck out his tongue mischievously, "No way! Although we look exactly the same, I think Charles is better looking than me! He has a better temperament. At such a young age, you already know about temperament?"

Charles laughed at him.

Randy raised his head proudly, "I'm four years old, not young anymore, of course, I know!"

Charles laughed and shook his head. "Let's go! It's getting late, and if we go late, we won't find a parking spot."

"Okay!" Randy happily put on his backpack, held Charles' hand with one hand, and held Patricia's hand with the other, bouncing out of the ward.

Martin, completely overlooked, was left speechless, his chest aching with anger. "......??"

Refusing to be disregarded, since no one invited him, he had both hands and feet—couldn't he go on his own? If he went, they wouldn't be able to kick him out, right?

With this determination, Martin decisively grabbed his car keys and discreetly followed them. He trailed all the way to Basque Taste, but upon parking the car and coming out, there was no sign of Patricia.

Undeterred, Martin entered Basque Taste and inquired about Room 005, where Patricia was. He proceeded straight to the second floor.

Just as he arrived on the second floor, he saw a familiar figure walking out and grabbing a waiter, asking, "Excuse me, where is the restroom?"

The waiter was surprised and said, "There's a restroom in the private room!"

Fannie clasped her stomach, her expression pained.

Little face wrinkled into a knot, "No, my stomach hurts, I need to go to the restroom, and I can't go in the private room!"

The waiter chuckled and pointed to the end of the corridor, saying, "Just keep walking straight ahead, turn left at the end, and you'll see the restroom."

"Thank you!" Fannie sweetly expressed her gratitude and hurriedly covered her stomach as she ran.

Martin raised an eyebrow and smiled with thin lips.

The person he had tirelessly searched for turned out to be here, how good. Martin narrowed his eyes and stood outside the restroom.

When Fannie came out of the restroom, he grabbed her by the back of her collar and lifted her up.

Fannie was startled, flailing her arms and legs in panic, closing her eyes and shouting, "Help, I'm being kidnapped by human traffickers, help!"

Martin was afraid she would attract trouble, so he immediately covered her mouth.

Fannie fiercely bit his hand.

"Hiss..." Martin winced in pain and never expected such strength from her petite body.

Subconsciously, he loosened his grip on her, being cautious not to harm her too much. Taking this opportunity, Fannie broke free from his grasp and ran off.

Martin caught up with her in three quick steps, blocking her path, grabbing her bun-like hair, controlling her head, and preventing her from moving recklessly.

He pretended to be fierce and said, "What? You've forgotten me so soon?"

Why did this voice sound so familiar? It resembled the voice of that obnoxious father.

Fannie paused for a moment, then raised her head, and as soon as she saw Martin, she inwardly exclaimed, realizing it wasn't good.
