Chapter 81 Charles is Randy's Twin Brother!

Jade immediately caught up with her.

"I'll go with you; two pairs of eyes are better than one!"

Patricia shook her head in refusal.

"No need, stay at home and take care of Fannie. Charles is already missing, if anything were to happen to Fannie, I wouldn’t be able to go on." Patricia said solemnly.

Her words reminded Jade.

"Well then, you stay at home and watch over Fannie, I'll go out and look!" Jade insisted.

Patricia shook her head again, "No need, I know Charles's habits. Maybe he left some secret signs along the way. You take care of Fannie; I'll go find him."

With the conversation reaching this point, Jade couldn't say anything more and reluctantly agreed.

"Alright, if anything happens, contact me immediately." Jade pressured Patricia.

"Okay!" Patricia nodded, about to leave when Jade seemed to remember something and grabbed her hand, suggesting, "Patricia, why don't we find Martin?"

Patricia's mind went blank for a moment. "Find Martin?"

Jade nodded, "With Martin's skills and resources, as long as he takes action, he will definitely be able to find Charles."

"But..." Patricia's thoughts on the matter were complicated.

Although she was worried about Charles, she was also afraid that once Martin knew about Charles's existence, he would try to take the child from her.

Understanding her concern, Jade paused for a moment and then spoke again.

"If we don't find Martin, maybe we could approach Alan! Martin instructs Alan to handle everything; as long as he agrees to help conceal it, Martin won't know about Charles."

Patricia was uncertain and asked, "Will he help us conceal it?"

Jade said anxiously.

"Whether he will help or not, we will only know if we go and beg! Although I don't have a deep relationship with him, if he can remain by Martin’s side for this long, his character and ability must be outstanding."

Patricia knew in her heart that it was either Martin or Alan when it came down to it.

Regardless of whether Martin would know about Charles in the end, she had no choice.

Seeing her move, Jade added, "I'll go with you and beg him together!"

Patricia was uneasy, "But Fannie ......"

Jade comforted, "Fannie is so understanding and obedient, she won't run around, let's leave her a cell phone, if she has something, she will call us."

Patricia thought for a moment and felt that what she said made sense, so she agreed to her proposal.

After discussing the matter, the two of them immediately went out, Jade was in charge of driving while Patricia sat in the passenger seat and dialed Alan's number.

At this time, Alan was sending information to the hospital for Martin, and subconsciously glanced at Martin when he received Patricia's call.

Martin narrowed his eyes vigilantly, "What is it?"

Thinking that since Patricia called herself, she didn't want Martin to know, out of politeness, Alan chose to conceal it, "It's nothing, I'm going out to take a call."

After saying that, he turned around and went out of the hospital room, picked up the phone and deliberately lowered his voice: "Madam, what do you want to see me about?"

Patricia did not know how to speak, silent for a moment, before taking a deep breath, slowly said, "Alan, where are you now? Can we meet?"

"Us?" Alan repeated uncertainly.

He didn't think that he and the lady would be able to socialize with anyone other than Boss and Randy.

"Uh-huh! Where are you now? I'll come find you."

Alan glanced at the closed hospital room door and tried, "I'm at the hospital."

"......?" All of Patricia's words caught in her throat for a few moments before she found her voice, "Martin's there too?"

Her reaction confirmed Alan's suspicion.

Madame didn't want Boss to know about her private contact with him.

"I'm outside the hospital room, boss isn't with me."

Upon hearing this, Patricia breathed a sigh of relief, "Then you go ahead and get busy, I'll wait for you in the garden behind the hospitalization department!" After saying that, she remembered something and reminded uneasily, "Don't let Martin know about this matter."

"Good!" Although Alan didn't know exactly why Patricia was looking for him, he still agreed with alacrity.

After ending the call, Alan returned to the hospital room.

Martin, who has never asked his subordinates about their personal matters, asked for the first time, "Who's calling?"

Alan was afraid that Martin would find out, he dropped his eyes and lied to Martin for the first time, "A friend of mine, looking for me for something."

The two grew up together and have worked together for so many years, with just a look, Martin knew that he was lying, but he didn't break it down: "Things are almost done, if you have something to do, you can leave first! The rest of the documents I dealt with after you come over to pick them up in the morning."

Alan nodded and left without question.

When he arrived at the hospital garden, Patricia hadn't arrived yet. He stood there waiting for quite a while until he saw Patricia and Jade rushing over in a hurry.

Alan had never seen Patricia so flustered before, and he knew something was amiss.

Sure enough, Patricia gasped for breath and said, "Alan, I... I need your help to find someone."

Confused, Alan asked, "Why don't you ask the boss to help you find this person?"

Patricia desperately shook her head and pleaded, "I can't tell him."

Alan didn't inquire further and honestly replied.

"But the resources belong to the boss, and I'm only responsible for giving orders. I don't have the authority to direct his personnel."

Panicking, Patricia grabbed Alan's hand and almost begged.

"I know Martin trusts you the most. Even if you temporarily use his personnel, he won't blame you. Please, please help me. Besides you, I don't know who else to turn to."

Jade also joined in, pleading along side Patricia, "Alan, please help Patricia. Consider that she used to be Martin's wife."

Seeing their sincere words, Alan couldn't bear to refuse and reluctantly agreed, "Alright, tell me, how can I assist you?"

Feeling relieved that he finally agreed, Patricia breathed a sigh of relief and said.

"My son was abducted by human traffickers at the kindergarten entrance today. I want you to help me find him."

"Son?" Even Alan, who was usually composed, couldn't help but stutter. It seemed like he had heard something unimaginable, and he looked at Patricia in shock.

After a while, he managed to regain his voice. "You... you got married again?"

No wonder she couldn't tell the boss about this.

If she told the boss that she had secretly given birth to another son with another man, he would definitely go crazy.

Ashamed, Patricia lowered her head and said, "No, I didn't get married."

"Then?" Alan was puzzled by her response.

Patricia took out a photo of Charles from her pocket and handed it to Alan.

"Actually, I gave birth to twins back then. His name is Charles, and he is Randy's twin brother!"

Patricia gathered her courage and finally revealed the secret she had kept buried in her heart for four years.

"Twin brothers!" Alan raised his voice.

This sudden revelation made even the brilliant Alan unable to process information for the first time. Despite being accustomed to numerous big situations, this news still shocked him.

No one would have expected that the Madam had actually given birth to twins all those years ago.
And she had been hiding this secret for so long, from so many people.

Patricia didn't have time for further explanations and anxiously said.

"Charles was abducted by human traffickers at the kindergarten entrance this afternoon at 5 o'clock. The police have been collecting information but haven't made any progress. That's why I came to seek your help!" Patricia pleaded desperately.

Curious, Alan asked.

"Why didn't you tell the boss? If he knew that his son had been abducted by human traffickers, he would definitely bring him back."

Pausing for a moment, Patricia replied with hesitation, "It's... complicated. I can't explain it now."

Patricia suddenly became overwhelmed by her emotions and said,

"I can't tell him. If I tell him, he will take Charles away from me. I have already given up Randy to him and I can't lose Charles as well. I know he can do it, and you definitely can too. Please, find Charles for me."

Alan was shocked and asked, "Are you asking me to hide this from the boss?"

Patricia nodded vigorously.

Without hesitation, Alan refused firmly.

"No! It's such an important matter. If I didn't know, it would be one thing, but now that I know, how can I hide it from the boss? Absolutely not!"

His stubbornness angered Jade instantly. She forcefully pushed his chest and said.

"What's wrong with you? Everyone knows that Martin assigns you to do everything. His subordinates obey you, and even if you occasionally dispatch his personnel, would he really blame you?”

Jade continued to badger Alan.

“So, what's the difference between letting Martin find Charles and letting you find him? Do you have to tell Martin and make things more complicated? If you keep babbling, Charles won't even know where he's being taken."

Alan was stunned by the scolding and finally said.
"If Charles is found that will be all good, but what if something goes wrong and he is not found? I'll have an inescapable responsibility of having lost a young master of the Langley family."

Patricia assured him confidently, "Don't worry, no matter what responsibility there is, I'll take it all."

"Well..." Alan hesitated.

It was a serious matter, and Alan still didn't dare to easily agree.

Not wanting to make things difficult for him, Patricia's eyes turned red, and tears streamed down her face. As she said.

"If you really feel troubled, then forget it. I'll figure something else out." She was about to leave.

Seeing her crying so sadly, Alan finally softened his heart.

"Okay! I promise you! I'll immediately dispatch manpower to investigate and won't inform the boss about this."

Hearing this, Patricia stopped crying and smiled through her tears, "Thank you, thank you so much."

Alan nodded, took out his phone, and started dispatching personnel.

Patricia tightly held Jade's hand. With Alan's help, she finally saw a glimmer of hope in the darkness.

Little did they know, Martin's tall figure was hidden behind a nearby big tree. The moonlight shone on him, highlighting his handsome yet sinister face like that of a Shura.
