Chapter 715 All Burned to Death
Riley never thought such a thing would happen to the Koch family.
He said, "Then I'll send someone to conduct a thorough investigation and remove all the surveillance cameras."
Martin shook his head. "I'm afraid it's very difficult! We don't know who the person is. Even if we remove the cameras he installed, he can still connect to our home cameras using advanced technology."
Patricia said, "Then should we remove all the cameras?"
Martin still shook his head. "Even worse! I'm afraid that's exactly what he wants! If we remove all the cameras, we'll fall into his trap."
"If there are no cameras, he will act even more recklessly."
"He's skilled and elusive, entering and leaving the Koch family was easy for him."
"At that point, what would stop him from doing whatever he wants in our home? It would be a piece of cake for him."
Just the thought of a stranger coming and going freely in their home made Patricia break out in a cold sweat.
If all the cameras in the house were removed, It would be easy for that person to kidnap or harm someone in the house, let alone save Hunter.
Wasn't Shane almost killed by a stranger back then?
Thinking of this, Patricia immediately shook her head. "No, we can't remove the cameras!"
Martin's face darkened. "Not only can we not remove them, but if he installs more, we won't remove those either!"
Patricia seemed to understand his meaning and quickly asked, "What do you mean?"
Martin coldly curled his lips. "Since he wants to monitor, let him do it! From now on, we'll communicate through our phones."
Martin added, "Since his goal is to save Hunter! Then let's let him do..."
Both Patricia and Riley were puzzled.
Martin added, "Give him the chance to save him!"
Patricia asked, "What do you mean?"
Martin's eyes narrowed dangerously, and his expression grew colder bit by bit.

In Country M.
After getting off the plane, Ryan headed straight to the psychiatric hospital according to the address Martin had given him.
To his surprise, the scene at the psychiatric hospital was chaotic.
Fire trucks, family members of patients, medical staff, and onlookers crowded the scene, making it impenetrable.
Cries and wails echoed through the sky.
Ryan was stunned.
Thinking he had come to the wrong place, he was about to call Martin but then put his phone back in his pocket and grabbed an onlooker, asking, "Excuse me, is this the psychiatric hospital?"
The onlooker nodded. "Yes, it is! Are you a family member of a patient or a medical staff member?"
A sense of foreboding filled Ryan's heart.
He quickly asked, "What happened here? What’s going on?"
The onlooker said, "You don't know about this huge incident? There was a fire! Last night, out of nowhere, a fire broke out! None of the patients or their families escaped; they all burned to death, over two hundred people! It's really tragic."
Ryan's handsome face turned pale instantly.
The words 'all burned to death!' echoed in his mind. He pondered, 'How could it be such a coincidence?'
Seeing Ryan not speaking, the onlooker continued, "You know, everything was fine, and then suddenly there was a fire! Look at those people crying; they are all family members of the patients and medical staff. I heard there was a young nurse who had just graduated from college, barely in her twenties! And now she's dead!"
Ryan asked in a trembling voice, "Not a single person escaped?"
The onlooker nodded. "Not a single person! The fire started at two in the morning, and everyone was asleep. Even if they noticed, it was too late to escape."
"This place is remote, and by the time people called 911 and the fire trucks arrived, it was almost completely burned down!" Suddenly, he pointed ahead and said, "Look, those bodies are all charred; you can't even tell their identity."
Ryan followed the direction of his finger.
Firefighters were carrying out charred bodies one by one on stretchers.
The people had died in agony, their hands twisted like chicken claws in eerie positions, their mouths wide open, filled with black smoke.
He couldn't even tell their identities, let alone whether they were male or female, young or old.
It was very strange.
Martin had just called Ryan to come over.
Then there was a fire.
A fire that burned everything so cleanly.
Ryan didn't believe it was an accident.
After getting a good understanding of the situation, Ryan left the scene and called Martin.
He said, "Martin, I'm too late!"
The brief words made Martin's heart skip a beat.
Martin asked, "What happened?"
"A fire broke out at two in the morning, burning everything clean. Over two hundred patients and medical staff inside all died, not a single survivor!" Ryan explained the situation to Martin clearly.
Martin frowned deeply.
Without much thought, Martin immediately said to Ryan, "Get home quickly! Don't go anywhere except Sunset Bay."
He didn't expect the other side to act so quickly, reaching Country M before Ryan.
Martin was really scared.
Scared that Ryan would end up like Carter, getting into trouble because of Martin.
Hunter's accomplice could be hiding anywhere.
He was ruthless and capable of anything.
If same things happened to Ryan, Martin couldn't make up for it.
Ryan got into a taxi parked by the roadside and laughed. "It's fine! I'm strong and lusty. Most people can't match me. What could happen to me?"
Martin wouldn't listen and insisted on saying, "No matter what, go back to Sunset Bay immediately."
Ryan laughed and agreed, "Alright, I'm heading back now! Anyway, the psychiatric hospital is burned down, and I can't do what you asked. Staying here is pointless!"
Hearing this, Martin sighed in relief.
He reminded, "Send me a message to let me know you're safe when you get to Sunset Bay!"
"Okay!"
After ending the call, Ryan still didn't take Martin's words to heart. He took out his phone and sent a message to Daisy Williams.
Ryan: [Daisy, I'm on my way to the airport now. I'll be in Sunset Bay by tomorrow morning! I miss you. I will buy breakfast to share with you.]
Daisy replied instantly.
Daisy: [No.]
Ryan looked at the short message and smiled like a fool.
Ryan: [I haven't seen you for twenty hours. If you don't let me see you, I'll miss you so much I'll die.]
The cheesy words made Daisy feel nauseous.
Daisy: [Ryan, can you speak normally? If you don't, don't talk to me.]
Ryan: [Baby, I miss you!]
Daisy didn't reply.
Ryan, still smiling, sent another message.
Ryan: [Daisy, let's get married when I get back!]
Daisy's reply took a long time to come through.
Ryan was about to read it when the taxi suddenly accelerated, shooting forward like an arrow.
Ryan's body was thrown forward by inertia and then pulled back by the seatbelt.
"Be careful!" As soon as he said that, he sensed something was wrong.
He held his breath, looking at the driver through the rearview mirror.
