Carol wanted to tell Maximilian the words that had been hidden in her heart for so long. But she knew that in Maximilian's heart, she was only a sister to him, never seen as an adult woman.
The autopsy continued.
The forensic medicine examined and reported the findings while an assistant made notes on the side. "Based on the body's bloating and degree of decomposition, it has been determined that the body has been dead for over twenty days. There is a large amount of undigested water in the stomach of the deceased, indicating death by drowning. The deceased struggled and drank a lot of water before losing vital signs, leaving the water undigested in the stomach. The deceased had no injuries on the body, no signs of external assault.
