Chapter 733 Going to Country M to Find Hunter's Brother

Susan couldn't believe it. She shook her head, refusing to accept the truth.

She asked, "Was he dead? How could he die so easily? After all the horrible things he did, why did he get off so easy? Why?"

Hunter couldn't be dead.

Susan hadn't even avenged Billy.

Joe asked, "Did he say anything?"

Martin, knowing what Joe was asking, replied, "He's not your son! We were all fooled. He and Billy were classmates. He planned it all, used Billy, and then killed him."

After hearing this, Joe and Susan turned pale.

Susan's eyes widened, red with anger.

She said, "He did so many bad things. Why did he die so easily? My kind Bill was drowned alive by him without a fight?"

Thinking that Bill struggled when he was dying and his broken nail, Susan wished she could skin Hunter alive and drink his blood.

Joe, fearing Susan couldn't stand the shock, reached out and put his arm around her shoulder, "He's dead now. He got what he deserved! It can be a revenge for Bill."

Susan pushed Joe's hand away.

She said, "It's all because of you, all your fault! If you hadn't protected Hunter almost all, I would have killed Hunter myself to avenge Billy! Joe, the biggest regret of my life is marrying you."

Joe didn't expect Susan to say such words, his heart aching, "Susan, wasn't our initial aim to ensure that Hunter got what he deserved? Now he was dead. How'd you act like that?"

Lately, Joe found he couldn't understand Susan any more.

She seemed like a completely different person.

Susan was speechless, feeling like something was stuck in her throat, wanting to say many things but finding herself unable to.

Susan's original intention had always been for Hunter to get what he deserved.

Even if he would be subject to legal sanctions, it was acceptable for Susan.

When did she change like this?

Susan even had thoughts of killing Hunter by herself.

She had never hated someone so much before.

Susan knew that Billy's death was a significant reason, but another reason was Joe's defense of Hunter.

She admitted that Hunter's manipulation had worked!

Regardless of the end, there was no debate that Joe had protected his illegitimate son.

This was something she couldn't accept or tolerate.

All her feelings for Joe shattered at that moment.

Once cracks appeared in a relationship, they could never be fully repaired.

"Joe, let's get a divorce!" After calmly saying this, Susan left without looking back.

Joe couldn't understand why Susan wanted a divorce even though Hunter was already dead.

Carol had actually anticipated this outcome. From the moment Joe disregarded that Hunter killed Billy and wanted to protect his illegitimate son, the home was broken.

Carol said nothing and followed Susan.

"Susan, Carol," Joe unwillingly followed them.

No one expected the end like this, and they couldn't help but sigh.

Riley asked, "What about Rock and Terry?"

Martin replied, "Let Mr. Hill handle it! After all, Rock killed his son, so the final decision is up to him."

Riley nodded, "Okay."

Martin lowered his voice intentionally and asked, "Riley, how should we deal with the Koch family's spy?"

Riley furrowed his brow and sighed, "Let me think about it."

Spies always needed to be dealt with.

Although it might be hard for everyone to accept, Riley wouldn't allow that spy to cause trouble in the Koch family.

Sebastian sighed, "It's almost dawn. Let's all get some rest."

They said, "Okay!"

After saying goodbye, everyone went back to their rooms.

Since learning from Martin that Hunter had committed suicide, Patricia had been silent.

Martin knew what she was thinking. They had both wanted Hunter to die so eagerly. But now he was truly gone, it was hard to believe.

Martin said, "Patricia, there's something I need to tell you."

Patricia looked at Martin in surprise, "What is it?"

Martin took her hand, and they sat together on the couch. After organizing his thoughts, he slowly said, "Before he died, Hunter asked me to go to Country M to find someone."

Patricia asked curioulsy, "Find who?"

Martin shook his head, "He only gave me an address. He called that person brother."

Patricia was stunned, "Did Hunter have another brother? It can't be."

Martin continued, "Moreover, that person is supposed to be a psychiatric patient."

When Hunter mentioned his brother and the mental institution, a crazy and bold idea had formed in Martin's mind, but it was all speculation and not confirmed.

After hearing his words, Patricia's mind also conjured up a face same to Hunter's.

Coincidentally that person was a psychiatric patient.

Seeing Patricia's silence, Martin added, "I've arranged the funeral home. We'll cremate Hunter tomorrow. After the cremation, I plan to go to Country M."

Patricia held his hand back, "I'll go with you."

After all, Hunter was already dead. Country M was safe now.

Martin knew that once Patricia decided on something, it was hard to change her mind. He nodded in agreement.

Patricia added, "Also, let's leave Hunter at the funeral home for now. We can cremate him after we return from Country M."

If the person Hunter wanted them to find was truly his only living relative, then it was right to let the living person see him one last time, at least giving him a chance to say goodbye.

Martin understood her thoughts, without objection, and gently caressed her face, "You've had a long night. Get some rest. I'll have Riley arrange the plane."

"Okay." Patricia nodded obediently.

Before going to bed, Patricia took a shower and changed into clean clothes. Martin, exhausted in a busy night, went to the bathroom to wash up, then lay down next to Patricia, placing his arm over her chest, and soon fell asleep.

Meanwhile, Susan returned to her room, packed her bags, and headed straight to the airport. Anywhere Joe was, Susan couldn't bear to stay a minute longer.

Worried about Susan traveling alone, Carol also packed her bags and left with Susan.

Seeing Susan and Carol leave, Joe naturally couldn't stay either. After quickly discussing Rock and Terry's matters with Riley, he left as well.

The once spacious house suddenly fell silent.

Patricia slept deeply through the night, waking up hungry till noon.

After lunch, she and Martin packed a few clothes and boarded the Koch family's private plane to Country M.

Kaleb had learned early on that they were going to Country M, so he specially brewed medicine for Martin for three days, packed it in a thermos, and asked them to drink it.

When they arrived in Country M in the evening, they wasted no time. They hailed a taxi at the entrance and went straight to the address Hunter had mentioned.

138 Sunset Valley.
