Chapter 56 Not Only Will I Beat You, I'll Ruin Your Looks
After returning to the hospital, Randy tightly held Martin's hand, saying emotionally, "Daddy, do you really believe Mommy pushed her? They are clearly framing Mommy."
Martin comfortingly stroked his head, "I know you're worried about Mommy! Don't worry, I won't let Mommy suffer from false accusations."
Upon hearing this, Randy's eyes gleamed.
"Do you have a way to prove Mommy's innocence?"
"Yes!" Martin nodded. "You stay in the hospital room. I'll go check on your grandmother's condition first, and then I'll go to the detention center to see Mommy. If you have anything, call me or Alan."
Randy obediently said, "Okay! Hurry up, Daddy. Make sure to rescue Mommy quickly."
"Alright."
With a smile, Martin promised and instructed the nurse to take good care of Randy before leaving.

Manda was rushed into the emergency room for treatment. Debbie worriedly paced back and forth outside, while Gavin also arrived upon hearing the news and coincidentally bumped into Martin in the hallway.
Gavin's face turned pale, and his tone was extremely harsh, "Mr. Langley, Patricia has gone too far this time. No matter how you defend her, I will definitely teach her a lesson. Otherwise, she will definitely do something even more outrageous next time."
Martin did not respond to his words and walked calmly to the emergency room door.
Seeing him approach, Debbie's fake strength crumbled in an instant. She threw herself into his arms, trembling with fear.
"Martin, you finally came. My mom's condition is uncertain in there, and I'm so scared being alone here!"
Martin's reassuringly large hand gently patted her back.
"How is Manda's condition?"
Debbie sobbed sadly, "I don't know. Her arms and legs were severely swollen when she was admitted! I'm really afraid something will happen to her."
After finishing, she looked up at him, her watery eyes filled with tears, looking particularly delicate and lovable.
"Martin, my mom will be okay, right?"
Martin nodded absentmindedly, "Yes, Manda will be okay! Don't worry too much.”
After hearing his comforting words, Debbie smiled with relief. Her wet eyelashes stuck to her tear-stained face, making her look as radiant and pure as the morning dew.
In the past, Martin would have felt immense heartache upon seeing her like this, but now he found her to be insincere and disgusting.
Gavin, who had been ignored, coughed lightly in dissatisfaction.
Finally noticing his presence, Debbie blushed and immediately stepped out of Martin's embrace. She pouted and asked, "Dad, when did you arrive?"
Gavin pretended to be displeased and said, "I came with Martin! It seems you only had eyes for Martin—what about your old man?"
"Dad!" Debbie's face turned even redder and she turned away, refusing to look at him.
Gavin's gloomy expression slightly eased. His gaze shifted back and forth between Debbie and Martin as he said meaningfully, "It seems like I'll be drinking tea with my future son-in-law very soon?"
"Dad…" Debbie stomped her foot in shyness and sat down, ignoring him.
Gavin patted Martin's arm and took on an authoritative tone as he advised, "Martin, I know you're a responsible and good man. I'm entrusting Debbie to you today and I hope you'll take good care of her."
He spoke as if marrying off his daughter.
Observing the father and daughter conversing with themselves, Martin sneered inwardly and chose not to pay attention.
Seeing his silence, Gavin frowned, about to express his dissatisfaction when the emergency room doors suddenly opened.
Manda was lying on a hospital bed, being pushed out by doctors. Her arms and legs were in casts, her face covered in bruises so swollen that her original appearance couldn't be seen clearly.
Upon seeing her, Gavin immediately forgot about questioning Martin and rushed over.
Debbie also hurried over and when she saw Manda's condition, she started crying with sadness.
"Mom, how did you end up like this? I'm sorry, it's all my fault. I couldn't protect you and let Patricia harm you like this."
Seeing his wife in this state, Gavin was filled with icy rage, "Tell me, what happened? I will definitely seek justice for you."
Upon seeing her husband, all of Manda's grievances poured out.
"It was Patricia, she pushed me down the stairs! I didn't expect her to be so malicious, she actually wanted to kill me! You must not let her go, otherwise, if she didn't kill me this time, there will definitely be a next."
Debbie wiped away her tears and reassured, "Mom, don't worry, Martin and Dad will seek justice for you. Patricia will not escape punishment."
Manda was in a bad emotional state and continued to cry heavily. The doctor instructed the nurse to take her into the ward, and Debbie anxiously followed along.
After they left, Gavin finally asked the doctor about Manda's condition, "Doctor, how is my wife doing?"
The doctor removed his mask, his expression grave, as he said, "Your wife's condition is not good. She has suffered multiple soft tissue injuries."
"Manda has fractures in her arms and legs. Given her age, it will take at least three months for a full recovery."
"Anything else?" Gavin wanted to kill Patricia upon hearing that it would take three months for Manda to fully recover.
"No, that's all. Just rest well," the doctor replied before leaving.
Gavin turned to Martin, who had remained silent, and said sternly, "Martin, did you hear that? I know you've been favoring Patricia because she's Randy's biological mother, and I've spared her in the past because of you. But this time, it's absolutely unacceptable. I will hold her legally accountable."
With that, Gavin stormed out of the room without looking back.
Martin pursed his lips, his handsome face expressionless, and his strong eyebrows showing a frosty touch.
After understanding Manda's situation, Martin drove to the detention center, where Patricia was holding.

Meanwhile, Patricia was trapped in a corner by two chubby women. Both had short hair, one with a blue devil tattoo on her collarbone, and the other with a long scar on her face.
Just by looking at them, one could tell they were not easy to mess with.
"So, you're Patricia?" the scar-faced woman asked.
Patricia calmly looked at them and replied, "Yes, I'm Patricia."
After confirming Patricia’s identity, the scar-faced woman immediately raised her hand and viciously slapped Patricia across the face.
But Patricia intercepted her hand in midair.
The two women froze, looking at Patricia in disbelief. "You have the audacity to resist! Do you even know who we are?" they said.
Patricia calmly responded, "I don't know who you are, and I don't want to know. You're just hired guns! Whatever Debbie paid you, I'll pay you tenfold."
The two chubby women laughed, their faces full of mockery. "There are rules. If everyone acted like you, how could we continue doing what we do?"
Patricia smirked and raised an eyebrow. "So, you're saying we have to fight?"
The tattooed woman lifted her chin and sneered, "Yes, not only fight, but also ruin your looks."
With that, she pulled out a foldable knife from her pocket and lightly pressed it, causing the blade to snap out, gleaming coldly in the light.
