Chapter 1055 Tina's Conspiracy

Time ticked by slowly. Waiting made time feel especially slow. Soon, half an hour had passed.

There was no movement in the hospital room. Everyone started to feel a bit worried.

Randy asked anxiously, "Is there something wrong?"

Charles forced himself to stay calm and said, "Psychotherapy is a long process! It could take half an hour, an hour, or even two hours sometimes!"

He had accompanied Violet through many psychotherapy sessions. So he had some understanding of psychotherapy.

Randy nodded in sudden realization and said nothing more.

Another half hour passed in the blink of an eye. The atmosphere around them started to become a bit tense.

Randy couldn't help but stand up, ready to press his face against the glass on the door to see how things were going inside. But the curtain inside was drawn, and he couldn't see anything.

Randy sighed. Just as he was about to return to the bench, a heart-wrenching scream suddenly came from the hospital room.

Charles shuddered. The four of them looked at each other in shock.

As they were wondering what was happening, the scream rang out again. It was Hannah's voice. Her voice was filled with pain, as if she was undergoing inhuman torture.

Charles jumped up from his seat and rushed into the hospital room without thinking, pulling the curtain aside to see Hannah clutching her head, her fingers tightly gripping her hair, screaming in terror.

The female doctor was clearly frightened by her behavior and was trying to calm her down. "Don't be afraid... relax your body... listen to me, take a deep breath... follow my rhythm..."

But Hannah wasn't listening at all. She suddenly reached out and clawed at the female doctor.

The female doctor couldn't dodge in time and got three bloody scratches on her face.

The male doctor also tried to intervene. But Hannah had completely lost control, throwing off the covers and standing barefoot on the floor, ready to rush to the door.

Charles immediately hugged her from behind. "Hannah, what's wrong? Hannah... don't be afraid, it's me, Charles... I'll always be by your side, don't be afraid."

His comforting words had no effect on Hannah.

Hannah screamed even louder. She pressed her temples tightly, her face twisted in pain. "It hurts, my head hurts so much... please, help me, my head hurts so much."

Charles held her tightly, afraid that if he let go, she would run away.

Seeing the situation getting out of hand, Martin's face turned grim, and he asked the psychologist sternly, "What's going on? Didn't you say you could end the hypnosis? Why is she like this?"

The male doctor realized the situation was dire. If they didn't stop it, things would get worse and become uncontrollable.

He walked up to Hannah and forcibly hypnotized her. Hannah's body went limp, and she fell into Charles's arms.

Charles immediately carried her to the bed and gently covered her with a blanket.

Ryan's face was also grim. "We're asking you a question! Didn't you confidently say you could cure her? Why did it turn out like this?"

The female doctor, holding her bleeding face and enduring the pain, explained, "The psychologist who hypnotized her was too malicious! We can't break into her consciousness! If we try to force our way in, she will react like this."

Randy didn't understand. "What do you mean?"

The female doctor explained in simpler terms, "It's like this: the psychologist set up a barrier in her memory and placed a bomb under the barrier! If we try to forcibly remove the barrier, the bomb will explode, and the patient will become either a fool or a lunatic."

This explanation was easy to understand. Everyone immediately got it.

Charles asked, "So what should we do? Can't we remove the barrier?"

The female doctor said, "Only the psychologist who set the barrier can remove it. No other doctor can do it! If we try to force it, the patient won't be able to handle it."

Hearing her explanation, Ryan immediately got angry. "That woman is too vicious! She did it on purpose! So what do we do now?"

Randy hesitated and asked, "Should we try another doctor?"

Hearing this, the female doctor immediately got agitated. "No, we can't try another doctor! We may not be the best in the field of psychology, but we are among the top ten in the world. Both of us have concluded that. If you trust us, please believe us this time."

"As I said earlier, if we forcibly try to remove the barrier and it explodes, the patient will become either a fool or a lunatic. We stopped in time when we discovered the problem! If you find someone too confident, who discovers the problem but still tries to remove the barrier, it will be irreparable."

Seeing her firm stance, everyone fell silent.

Charles looked at the sleeping Hannah, his heart aching, his fists clenched tightly, using all his strength to suppress his anger.

The male doctor, thinking they didn't believe them, also said, "She's right! We stopped in time. If you find an overly confident doctor who tries to break through, the consequences will be severe!"

Ryan, frustrated, said, "So what do we do? Do you have any other solutions? This isn't hypnosis; it feels like witchcraft!"

He had lived for many years and had never heard of hypnosis being so powerful. It could set up barriers in people's minds. If all psychologists were like Tina, wouldn't humanity be controlled by her?

The female doctor said, "The only solution is for the person who set the barrier to remove it."

Everyone fell silent again. They looked at each other.

After a while, Ryan gritted his teeth and said, "If that person was willing to remove it, we wouldn't have come to you!"

The male doctor sighed. "If that's the case, there's nothing we can do!"

The female doctor thought for a moment and then said, "Actually, if the memories before the hypnosis aren't that important to you, you can leave it as it is! Apart from losing her previous memories and being forcibly implanted with false ones, she is no different from a normal person!"

"Because of the lost memories, her mind is like a child's, but that's not important; she can grow slowly. Although she is a bit naive now, it's better than forcibly removing the barrier and turning her into a fool."

Martin, who had been silent, suddenly spoke, "She's right! Hannah has just forgotten us, but she's not a fool! Many things she doesn't understand can be taught slowly! She's like a newborn now, needing to learn everything! But if she becomes a lunatic or a fool, there's no hope!"

Ryan nodded vigorously in agreement. "Martin is right! I think this is good! She's so pure and cute! Let's not remove it! Let her stay like this!"

"Charles, you're so outstanding. Even though she has forgotten you now, it's okay. You can court her again, and it'll be like falling in love all over again. As for Tina, we won't be threatened by her."

Although Tina hadn't threatened them and was silent, he still felt very displeased.
