Chapter 1070 Jealous

Hannah ignored Stella, lost in her own thoughts.

She remembered, in her dream, a man in his early twenties, very clean and handsome, standing in this place with flowers in his hands, confessing his love to her.

In the dream, she was very surprised. "Arthur, what... what are you doing?"

Arthur smiled confidently and handed her the bouquet. "Hannah, I've liked you for a long time. Will you be my girlfriend?"

At that time, she was shocked, not expecting such an outstanding person to confess to her. "Arthur, I'm sorry, I already have a boyfriend."

Arthur didn't seem sad at all; instead, he confidently asked, "Is your boyfriend better than me?"

Many classmates surrounded them. Everyone was watching her, making fun of her. Some even said she was lying.

At that moment, a pair of hands suddenly came from behind, resting on her shoulders and pulling her into a tight embrace. It was Charles.

Charles appeared just in time. Standing nearly 6.3 feet tall, he was a head and a half taller than Hannah. Facing Arthur, he completely overshadowed him in height, looks, and presence.

He held her shoulder with one hand and extended the other to Arthur. "I'm Charles Watson, Hannah's boyfriend."

Even in the dream, Hannah could clearly feel that this woman was very happy and very fortunate.

"You see, just in time! I want you to know how many men are after me! If you ever do something to hurt me, I'll leave you and marry someone else."

Charles held her in his arms, resting his chin on her shoulder, and said with a smile, "You've chosen me for life, and I've chosen you! We're meant to be together, so let's not look for anyone else."

The two people in the dream flirted openly.

In real life, Hannah also felt a swelling in her chest from the sudden scenes in her mind. She felt very sweet and happy.

Seeing her in a daze and not speaking, Stella nervously asked, "Hannah, what's wrong? Don't scare me, Hannah?"

Charles held her arms, concerned, and asked, "Hannah, did you remember something?"

Hearing his words, Hannah finally came to her senses. Her unfocused eyes gradually focused, staring blankly at Charles. "Arthur... confession... Charles... meant to be together."

Her words were fragmented. But it was enough to make Charles's hands tremble with excitement, his eyes hot and red.

Once, in this place, Arthur confessed to Hannah.

Charles got jealous and told her, "You've chosen me for life, and I've chosen you! We're meant to be together, so let's not look for anyone else."

Hannah could say it. Did she remember?

He asked, "Hannah, did you remember? Did you remember a little bit?"

Hannah didn't know if this counted as remembering. She tried hard to remember more, but the more she tried, the more her temples hurt.

She collapsed, holding her head. "I don't know! I just feel my head hurts! It hurts like it's going to explode."

Charles, heartbroken, held her in his arms, his large hands gently patting her back. "If your head hurts, do not think about it. Today, we're out to have fun, so let's just enjoy ourselves!"

Hannah tried not to think. But her mind was out of control, with those messy fragments flashing in her head. She wanted to piece them together but couldn't. The more she tried, the more her head hurt.

Charles, heartbroken, reached out to massage her temples, soothing her as he did. "Hannah, if you can't remember, do not think about it! D University has a lake. I'll take you there to play and get some fresh air. Maybe your head will stop hurting."

Hannah looked at the gentle and attentive Charles in front of her, her eyes gradually reddening.

Her memory fragments were very scattered. But they were all about him.

Everything she could remember was about him. All their little moments together. Why was it like this? Wasn't she Evelyn? Didn't she grow up in Country H? She didn't know Charles before! So why did she have so many memories of him in her mind?

Seeing her cry, Charles panicked even more, wiping away her tears and urgently asking, "Does it hurt a lot? Let's go to the hospital and see if we can get some painkillers."

As he spoke, he was about to take her away, but Hannah stopped him. "It doesn't hurt anymore."

Charles turned around, not believing her. "If it doesn't hurt, why are you crying? Don't be afraid to go to the hospital. If you're sick, we need to see a doctor. I'll always be with you."

Hannah sniffed and forced a smile. "It really doesn't hurt anymore! As long as I don't try to think, my head stops hurting immediately."

Charles cupped her face, gently saying, "If that's the case, then do not think about it! Come on, I'll take you to get some fresh air and relax."

"Okay!" Hannah nodded obediently.

The three of them went to the school's artificial lake. The lake was large, a popular spot for couples to date.

There was also a small forest behind the lake, a must-visit spot for couples.

Stella rented a small boat for Charles and Hannah, letting them row on the lake while she sat by the lake, texting Randy.

Randy: [Did Hannah remember a little bit?]

Stella: [She probably did! She even remembered Arthur!]

Randy: [Isn't that good?]

Stella: [But Tina's hypnosis is too strong. As soon as Hannah remembers a little, her head hurts so much that she doesn't dare to think more.]

Stella got angrier the more she thought about it. [Damn it, if Hannah gets better, I'm going to beat the crap out of that bitch Tina to vent my anger.]

Randy looked at Stella's message and couldn't help but smile and shake his head.

Stella's personality was exactly like Fannie's. She didn't hide anything, straightforward and direct.

Randy: [What do you want for dinner? I'm bored at home alone, thinking of going out to buy groceries.]Talking about food, Stella instantly got excited and quickly listed many dishes.

On the other side, Hannah and Charles sat in the inflatable boat. Charles paddled while Hannah leaned over the side, playing with the water. "The scenery here is so beautiful! I didn't expect the lake water to be so clear."

Charles teased, "You think this is beautiful?"

Hannah nodded vigorously. "Yes, it's really beautiful!"

At least, at this moment, she thought it was very beautiful.

Charles's eyes flickered, and he went along with her, "I'll take you to an even more beautiful place tomorrow."

Hannah immediately asked eagerly, "Where?"

Charles winked at her mysteriously. "It's a secret. I can't tell you now. You'll know when you get there tomorrow!"

He was already very handsome, and when he winked at Hannah with affectionate eyes, her breath caught, her heart pounded, and her face flushed.
