Chapter 1057 Die Together

Charles knew this situation was abnormal. Even if someone really wanted to see another person, this wouldn't happen. Not even between couples, let alone just friends.

Helpless, he had to find the two psychologists who had previously hypnotized Hannah to ask what was going on.

After roughly explaining the situation to the two doctors, the female psychologist exchanged a glance with the male psychologist.

The female psychologist still had bandages on her face, indicating she was seriously injured.

The male doctor gave the female doctor a look, signaling her to speak.

Receiving the male doctor's signal, the female doctor pursed her lips and explained, "This should be a psychological suggestion in our field of psychology."

Charles didn't understand and frowned, asking, "What do you mean?"

The female doctor continued to explain, "It means that when Hannah was hypnotized by the other party, they implanted a psychological suggestion in her! Hannah would think the other person is very important in her life. She would uncontrollably get close to her, and if she couldn't see her, she would feel scared, panicked, and terrified. She would see her as the only family member in the world."

Charles narrowed his eyes dangerously. "Is there any way to undo it?"

The female doctor shook her head, troubled. "There's no way to undo it! This psychological suggestion was likely set up along with that barrier, and only the doctor who implanted the suggestion can undo it. If we forcefully try to undo it, the same situation as last time will occur. Hannah will go insane and break down."

Charles clenched his fists tightly. He finally understood why Tina was so fearless and why she wasn't afraid at all when he almost strangled her.

It turned out she had already anticipated that Hannah's condition couldn't be separated from her.

Even if they caught her, they couldn't do anything to her. As long as she had control over Hannah, she had control over them.

Damn it. If he had thought earlier that Hannah's disappearance was related to Tina, could these things have been avoided? But Tina hid it too well. Who would have thought she would abduct Hannah?

To this day, he still didn't know why she abducted Hannah. What was her purpose? Who was her partner?

Seeing Charles's grim expression and silence, the female doctor comforted, "I know you're very angry, but Hannah's situation is special. The female doctor who hypnotized her seriously violated professional ethics. She was determined to burn her bridges!"

"If she had slowly erased Hannah's memory and then implanted new memories, Hannah wouldn't have had any problems. The biggest issue now is that I found out Hannah was forcibly brainwashed in a very short time."

"Maybe because Hannah's willpower was too strong, the other party couldn't succeed, or maybe there was some emergency at the time. But regardless of the situation, this method is very harmful to Hannah. No normal person would do this. If it succeeds, it succeeds; if not, the hypnotized person would become an idiot or go insane."

"Even if it succeeds, the person's brain would be slightly affected, unable to handle stress, and have a weaker tolerance than normal people."

She almost directly said that the person who hypnotized Hannah had very malicious intentions. This clearly showed a mindset of dragging Hannah down if they didn't succeed.

Presumably, the previous hypnosis didn't go smoothly, so she resorted to a harsh method. Such a person needed a very strong heart and an extraordinary calmness to do such a thing.

The female doctor's words made Charles's face even darker. He gritted his teeth and asked, "So what should I do now? Go along with Hannah? Just let Tina stay by Hannah's side?"

If that was the case, he really feared he wouldn't be able to take it and would strangle Tina himself. No normal person could see an enemy in front of them every day.

More importantly, she was a ticking time bomb, and he didn't know when she would explode.

She was so capable. What if Tina openly hypnotized Hannah again right under his nose?

It was impossible to guard against. He couldn't leave such a dangerous person by Hannah's side.

The female doctor sighed. "There's no other way, you can only go along with Hannah! Her current mental state can't handle any stimulation or anger. Her mind is like a child's now, very obedient when calm but very troublesome when agitated! Maybe you can comfort her for a day or two, but it will be difficult in the long run."

Charles's temples throbbed with anger, and his whole body felt cold. "Thank you, I understand!"

With difficulty, he thanked them and left.

Arriving at the hospital, at the door of Hannah's ward, he heard Stella's voice before he even pushed the door open.

"Hannah, it's me, Stella. Don't you recognize me? We are best friends. I even set you up with Charles! How can you not recognize me?" Stella had come at some point.

When they first found Hannah, Randy had told her, and she had been clamoring to come over, but they had managed to calm her down.

This time, she didn't care whether they agreed or not and came directly. After arriving at the airport, she called Randy to ask which hospital Hannah was in.

Seeing that she had already arrived, Randy couldn't say much and told her the hospital's name.

Facing Stella's concern, Hannah sat quietly on the hospital bed like a well-behaved little girl, blinking her clear eyes and shaking her head. "Who are you? I don't know you."

Stella was shocked. "You really don't recognize me? I'm Stella Reed, your classmate. We even lived in the same dorm. How can you not recognize me?"

She hadn't believed it when Charles told her over the phone. How could there be such powerful hypnosis in the world?

But seeing Hannah at this moment, she gradually began to believe it. This wasn't hypnosis; it was witchcraft!

Hannah still shook her head. "I really don't know you! And my name isn't Hannah; it's Evelyn Ross. I grew up in Country H. We're not classmates, and we didn't live in the same dorm."

Her response was within Charles's expectations.

Even though he had guessed it, his heart still ached uncontrollably when he heard it, and his eyes reddened.

It was his fault; he didn't protect Hannah, which led to her ending up in Tina's hands. Hannah becoming like this was all his fault.

Stella was devastated, pulling at her hair, her voice growing louder.

"I'm Stella! Your name isn't Evelyn; it's Hannah! You've been brainwashed by that woman named Tina! Hannah, during the time you were missing, Charles almost lost his life for you! He did nothing but look for you every day. You are his everything now. You can't do this to him. How can you forget him? You can forget me, but how can you forget Charles? You absolutely can't!"

Hannah was frightened by her, shrinking her neck involuntarily.

Hannah pouted, angrily saying, "I don't allow you to talk about Tina. Tina is my friend. If you keep talking about her like that, I won't talk to you anymore!"

"Hannah, you..." Stella was both worried and angry.

Charles, who had been standing outside the door, feared her emotional outburst would stimulate Hannah. He immediately pushed the door open, grabbed her, and whispered harshly, "Enough, stop talking!"
