Chapter 1081 Sleeping on the Same Bed

Just as Hannah was hesitating whether to wake Charles up and have him go to the bedroom to sleep, Charles suddenly opened his tightly shut eyes, filled with panic and fear.

But the moment he saw Hannah, the panic and fear in his eyes vanished without a trace. He visibly breathed a sigh of relief, rubbed his eyes, and sat up from the couch. "What are you doing out here?"

When he was asleep earlier, he vaguely felt someone watching him and immediately woke up from his dream.

He originally thought someone had come to take Hannah away from him again, but it turned out that the gaze was Hannah's.

After Hannah was swapped right under his nose last time, he was truly scared. He was really afraid that Hannah would disappear right under his nose again.

He had already lost Hannah once; he couldn't imagine if he lost her again, he might collapse and never recover.

The white moonlight shone through the glass window. Hannah clearly saw the large beads of sweat on Charles's face and the flash of panic and fear in his eyes. She could clearly feel that Charles was scared.

Even though he was asleep, he was still constantly on edge, always on guard. She didn't know why Charles was like this, but seeing him like this made her heart ache.

Hannah reached out and wiped the sweat from his forehead, saying with concern, "I thought about it, you should go sleep in the bedroom! The couch is too small, and it's cold at night. What if you get sick?"

Charles felt warmth in his heart. "Are you worried about me?"

Hannah didn't hesitate and nodded. "You're my boyfriend, of course, I'm worried about you! Besides, in a strange environment, I also feel a bit scared and can't sleep! If you stay with me, I probably won't be scared!"

Actually, this was an excuse she made up to get Charles to go inside.

Although she did have trouble sleeping in unfamiliar environments, knowing Charles was just outside the door, she felt secure. She was afraid Charles wouldn't agree, so she said it on purpose.

Sure enough, after hearing her say that, Charles immediately stood up from the couch, rubbed Hannah's head, and said, "Alright, I'll go in and sleep with you."

Hannah immediately nodded happily.

After returning to the room, to make Hannah feel at ease, Charles closed the door and locked it from the inside.

The doctor had said that when a person felt insecure, being in an enclosed space could reduce their fear and make them feel more secure.

His thoughtful actions made Hannah even more touched and deepened her feelings for him.

Charles didn't want to scare Hannah, so he only slept on one side of the bed, keeping about 8 inches of distance between them, enough to protect her without offending her.

Hannah lay on her side facing him, looking at the thin blanket covering him, and couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you cold with so little covering?"

Although it was already May, it was still very cold on the mountaintop. Especially at night, the temperature was even lower.

Charles replied, "Not cold, the room has the heater on, and the doors and windows are tightly closed, so I'm fine, not feeling cold."

Hannah paused for a moment, and for some reason, suddenly lifted a corner of her blanket and asked Charles, "Why don't you come in?"

Charles was shocked, looking at her incredulously.

Hannah chuckled. "I don't want you to catch a cold tomorrow! Since we're out to have fun, let's have fun. If you get sick, I'll feel bad!"

Charles, being so smart, didn't care if the reason was true or not, immediately lifted his blanket and got into Hannah's.

Her blanket smelled nice, just like her. For a moment, Charles thought they had returned to the past, to the most beautiful time when they slept together.

During the time they first started making love, they enjoyed sex every night. He was like an insatiable beast, constantly clinging to her, tireless.

And she indulged him, even when she was exhausted, she still tried to cooperate and satisfy his every need. After more than four months, he finally found that feeling again.

Hannah had long forgotten about sleeping with Charles. In her memory, this was her first time sleeping with a man, and she was so nervous that her body was tense, not daring to move.

"Go to sleep! We have to get up early to watch the sunrise tomorrow!" Sensing her tension, Charles slowly closed his eyes and pretended to sleep.

Sure enough, thinking he was asleep, Hannah's whole body relaxed, and she fell asleep in no time.

Listening to the even breathing beside him, Charles opened his eyes again, turned his head to look at the face close by, his expression gradually becoming gentle, and a happy smile appeared on his lips.

The two of them, who were originally 8 inches apart, got closer and closer as they slept.

In the end, Hannah ended up in Charles's arms, her head resting on his shoulder, and her limbs wrapped around him like an octopus.

The next day.

Charles woke up early. Only then did he realize that Hannah was holding him tightly, and her foot was resting on his crotch.

Charles was a bit surprised. It had been a long time since they had slept together like this, and Charles was reluctant to move her. He just brought his lips close to her ear and whispered, "Hannah, wake up, it's time to watch the sunrise."

Hannah didn't respond.

Charles's smile deepened, and he continued, "Wake up! It's time to watch the sunrise!"

Hannah still didn't respond.

Charles chuckled and shook his head. "If you don't get up now, we'll miss it."

This time, Hannah finally reacted, but she just touched her ear where Charles had tickled her and continued to sleep. It seemed she was really tired.

Seeing that he couldn't wake Hannah after calling her three times, Charles didn't have the heart to wake her again.

After all, they had plenty of time. If they missed it today, they could stay a few more days and eventually see it.

With that thought, Charles didn't call Hannah again but slowly turned over, stretched out his long arm, and held Hannah in his arms to continue sleeping.

They didn't get to see the sunrise, but Stella did.

Stella had set an alarm, and as soon as it went off, she woke up immediately. She got ready, changed into clean clothes, and went to knock on Randy's door.

She knocked so hard that the door made a loud noise. Randy, still sleepy and yawning, came to open the door. Seeing her, he continued yawning and asked, "Why are you looking for me so early? It's not even light yet!"

Stella turned around and pushed him into the room. "Hurry up and wash up, or we'll be late."

Randy was puzzled. "Late for what?"

Stella explained, "To watch the sunrise! Last time I came, I overslept! Luckily, I set an alarm today! Hurry up, you have ten minutes."

Randy yawned and said, "Why don't you go watch it by yourself? I want to sleep." He wasn't really interested in sunrises and sunsets; he thought it was better to sleep.

But Stella didn't give him a chance to refuse, "No way! It's boring to watch alone! Hannah has Charles with her, I need someone with me too."

Randy was very confused; he felt something was off with her words but was too lazy to argue, so he obediently listened to Stella, washed up, changed into clean clothes, and accompanied Stella to sit on a rock and wait for the sunrise.
