Chapter 1215 Austin Woke Up

Charles's words were muddled, but Patricia still managed to get the gist.

Eight years ago, Hannah went through a traumatic kidnapping. Tina helped her recover her old memories, which unfortunately brought back the horror of the kidnapping.

Hannah was so terrified that she ended up in the state Patricia found her in when she walked in.

"If that's the case, then it's better to forget than to remember! Tina, can you help?" Patricia said.

Without hesitation, Tina nodded. "I can completely erase the memory of the kidnapping from her mind, cleanly and thoroughly. She won't remember it for the rest of her life."

Patricia and Charles both sighed in relief.

Patricia exclaimed excitedly, "That's wonderful! Tina, thank you so much!"

Charles asked, "Will it affect her physically? Hannah is pregnant now and quite weak. If she goes through this twice, will she be able to handle it?"

Tina shook her head. "No, it's a simple procedure. Mrs. Watson, you can step out, and Mr. Watson can stay."

"Alright, I'll be right outside. Call me if you need anything!" Patricia didn't dare linger and quickly turned to leave.

Lassie, Carter, and Stella had been waiting outside. Seeing Patricia come out, Lassie immediately grabbed her hand and asked what was going on. "What happened? I heard Violet screaming earlier; she seemed really scared. Did Tina go in because her memory is acting up again?"

Patricia didn't want them to worry, so she briefly explained the situation. "Eight years ago, the kidnapping incident was a huge shock to Hannah. She was extremely frightened, and it left a deep scar on her mind. So Charles hopes Tina can block that memory."

Everyone was visibly concerned after hearing Patricia's explanation.

Especially Lassie, whose eyes turned red. "Is Violet okay? Did Tina say she could do it? Will it affect her other memories?"

Carter said regretfully, "If I had known, I wouldn't have let Tina restore her memories in the first place! What does it matter if she doesn't remember the past? It doesn't affect our relationship as father and daughter!"

Lassie felt a pang in her heart and lowered her eyes sadly. "It's my fault. I forgot about the kidnapping incident! I caused Violet to remember that painful memory again. I'm really not a good mother."

Stella slapped her forehead hard. "Yeah! We were all focused on Hannah recovering her memories, but we didn't consider that it would also bring back the unhappy experience of the kidnapping. It was really a mistake! If that's the case, it's better not to remember."

Patricia comforted them, "It's okay! Tina said she can completely erase that memory, so Hannah won't remember it for the rest of her life. And it won't harm her physically."

Hearing that, Lassie, Carter, and Stella all sighed in relief.

"That's good, that's good! I was so worried this would continue to affect Violet and become a psychological shadow."

Stella asked, "Did Tina say how long it would take?"

Patricia replied, "I don't know. Let's wait here. If they need anything, we'll be ready to help."

"Yes, yes! Let's stay here, just in case."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Time passed slowly.

After about half an hour, the door finally opened, and Tina walked out, looking exhausted.

Lassie hurriedly asked, "How's my daughter? Is she okay? Did it go smoothly?"

Tina nodded and gave a weak smile. "It went smoothly! Don't go in and disturb her; let her sleep for a while. She'll be fine when she wakes up. I've used up a lot of energy, so I'll go rest now. Call me if anything happens."

In the past, a simple memory erasure would have been easy for Tina, without consuming much energy.

But this time, due to her injured arm and the constant care she had been giving Austin, she was exhausted.

At this moment, she felt dizzy and lightheaded.

She needed to lie down and rest immediately.

Otherwise, she might actually faint from exhaustion.

Patricia noticed Tina's condition and quickly supported her. "I'll help you to your room! You look really pale!"

"Thank you!"

Normally, Tina would have refused.

She wasn't someone who liked to owe favors.

But this time, she accepted it willingly.

She knew her condition well.

Without help, she might not make it back to her room, even though it was only a few feet away.

Patricia helped Tina to her room.

Tina leaned back on the sofa, closing her eyes to rest.

"Rest here for a bit. I'll have Evangeline bring you some supplements. You seem really off; you need to replenish your energy."

Tina didn't open her eyes and weakly replied, "Thank you, I appreciate it."

"You're welcome! Just wait here." Patricia could tell Tina was truly exhausted. Otherwise, someone who usually kept her distance wouldn't accept her help so readily.

After Patricia left, Tina couldn't hold on any longer and fell into a deep sleep on the sofa.

When she woke up, it was already the next day.

The sun was shining outside.

Hannah woke up almost at the same time.

When Hannah woke up again, she had completely forgotten the kidnapping process. She only remembered being kidnapped in her sophomore year of high school, then being taken away by Austin, having her memory erased, and growing up with the White Family.

Except for the kidnapping process, she remembered everything else clearly.

Charles tested her several times and confirmed she truly didn't remember anything. Only then did he relax completely.

Everything returned to its usual calm.

Austin had been unconscious for three days, and Tina stayed by his side the whole time.

It wasn't until Austin's arm showed no signs of injury that she lifted his hypnosis and woke him up.

Austin slowly opened his eyes, staring at the unfamiliar ceiling, his mind momentarily blank.

After a moment, he suddenly remembered he had come to Sunshine Manor to visit Hannah, and then...

Then he couldn't remember anything else.

What had happened afterward? Why was he lying here? Judging by the decor, it seemed like Sunshine Manor.

"You're awake?" As Austin was lost in thought, a familiar voice sounded in his ear.

Realizing it was Tina, Austin was startled and quickly sat up, accidentally pulling his left arm, causing a slight frown.

Why did his left arm feel a bit sore? Was it because of his sleeping position?

Noticing his discomfort, Tina immediately stood up and supported his arm, smiling. "Does your arm hurt a bit?"

Austin looked at her, full of confusion. "Why am I here? Wasn't I visiting Hannah? Why does my arm hurt? What happened?"

He felt like something important had happened.

But he couldn't remember.
