Chapter 1080 Crazy Heartbeat

When Hannah and Charles entered the room, the atmosphere suddenly became ambiguous.

Unconsciously, many erotic images appeared in Hannah's mind, all of which she recalled from the movie she watched today. Each image was enough to make her heart race and her face flush.

They were staying in the best suite here, which had a living room and a bedroom.

The living room had a sofa and a TV, the bedroom had a bed and a wardrobe, the bathroom was on the left side of the entrance, and there was a small balcony outside the living room with a washing machine on it.

Hannah stood helplessly in the living room, twisting the hem of her clothes, nervously not knowing what to do. Although she was the one who suggested staying with Charles in the end.

Thinking about how she and Charles had just confirmed their relationship and were now alone together, she felt a bit at a loss, not knowing how to spend the night.

Seeing her nervousness, Charles gently rubbed her head and smiled. "Do you want to take a shower? Your clothes are in the suitcase. Since we won't be staying long, I didn't put the clothes in the wardrobe."

His voice broke the ambiguous atmosphere. Hannah let out a small sigh of relief and nodded vigorously. "Yes! Although I took a bath in the hot spring earlier, I didn't change clothes and am still wearing my daytime clothes! Taking a shower and changing into clean clothes before bed will make me sleep better."

"Alright!" Charles walked into the bedroom, squatted down, opened the suitcase, took out Hannah's pajamas and underwear, and naturally handed them to her in the living room. "Go take a shower!"

Hannah was shocked. She didn't know how Charles could fetch her underwear without blushing or feeling embarrassed. His nonchalance made her feel utterly mortified.

"Actually, I can do it myself!"

Charles raised an eyebrow. "What? Feeling shy?"

Hannah glared at him angrily, snatched the clothes from his hand, and ran into the bathroom.

Charles chuckled silently, thinking that Hannah might be hungry, so he called the front desk to order some snacks.

When Hannah came out after her shower, the snacks had just arrived.

Charles, sitting at the dining table, waved at her. "Come over, I asked the kitchen to make some oatmeal porridge for you. Have some before you sleep."

"Oatmeal porridge?" Hannah, holding a dry towel, walked towards the dining table while drying her wet hair.

Charles had already served a bowl and placed it in front of her.

Hannah draped the towel over the back of the chair and started eating the oatmeal porridge.

The taste was good, very fragrant with a hint of sweetness. The chef's skills were impressive.

Hannah's appetite was immediately whetted, and she eagerly ate it.

Seeing her hair still dripping, Charles got up, went to the bathroom, took out a hairdryer, and skillfully started drying her hair.

Hannah asked curiously, "Aren't you eating?"

Charles lied, "I already had a bowl while you were showering! There's plenty left in the pot, you can have more if you want."

"Okay!" Hannah nodded and continued eating without saying more.

The oatmeal porridge was so delicious, and since she had only had barbecue in the afternoon, she was already hungry.

Hannah ate three bowls in one go before feeling full. Her hair was thick and not completely dry yet. The warm air blowing on her scalp felt very comfortable.

Hannah leaned back in the chair, closed her eyes, and for the first time felt completely relaxed.

Charles was truly the best man she had ever met. Not only could he cook, but he also had a good temper, was handsome, made money, was gentlemanly and well-mannered, and was gentle and considerate.

He seemed to have all the qualities a man could have. No woman could resist such a man!

The room was very quiet. Neither Charles nor Hannah spoke. But the atmosphere was exceptionally warm.

Just as Hannah was about to fall asleep, the sound of the hairdryer finally stopped, and a familiar scent grew closer.

Hannah instantly woke up, her body tensing. But she didn't dare open her eyes. Her hands, placed on her lower abdomen, nervously clutched the hem of her clothes, and her heart pounded wildly.

What was Charles going to do? Was he going to kiss her? Or make love? If he wanted to make love, what should she do? Push him away? Or go along with it? But hadn't they just confirmed their relationship? Wouldn't it be too fast to make love right away? What should she do?

Charles, seeing Hannah's eyelashes trembling more and more, knew she was very nervous at the moment. He couldn't help but chuckle softly.

"If you're sleepy, go rest in the bedroom! You'll catch a cold sleeping here. You sleep in the bedroom tonight, and I'll sleep on the sofa outside! Don't worry, I won't touch you."

Hannah's face turned red instantly, and she quickly opened her eyes, glared at him, stood up, and ran back to the bedroom.

She looked like she was being chased by a wild beast. Charles couldn't hold back and laughed out loud.

Hannah slammed the door shut, leaning her back against it, her face flushed, and her heart felt like it was going to jump out of her throat.

She should have just opened her eyes earlier. Why did she pretend to be asleep? And she got caught by Charles! It was so embarrassing!

Hannah jumped onto the bed, covered her face with a pillow, and thought about having to face Charles tomorrow. She was so embarrassed she wished she could dig a hole and hide in it. Why did she do something so embarrassing?

Hannah had been very sleepy, but after all this commotion, she couldn't sleep at all. She tossed and turned in bed, her mind filled with random thoughts.

What time was it now? Was Charles asleep? There was no sound outside, so he must be asleep. But the sofa outside was so small, not enough for his tall body. Wouldn't he be uncomfortable sleeping on it?

Thinking about Charles's tall body curled up on the small sofa, she felt a pang of heartache. After much hesitation, she got out of bed barefoot, tiptoed to the door, and carefully opened it, peeking out.

Sure enough, it was pitch dark outside, and Charles seemed to be asleep. She boldly opened the door and tiptoed out.

A faint fragrance wafted from the balcony. She looked over and saw that Charles had washed and hung up the clothes. The clothes danced in the wind.

Charles was lying on his side on the sofa, covered with a thin blanket. His large body squeezed onto the sofa looked somewhat pitiful.

Hannah felt she was being too cruel. She had such a big bed to herself, but let Charles sleep on the sofa!

He was only sleeping in the same room to protect her, yet he had to sleep alone on the sofa. Should she let him sleep in the bedroom? After all, the bed was big enough for one more person.
