Chapter 54 Patricia Must Die

Martin's good mood instantly vanished, his smile freezing on his face. Before he could clearly see who it was, someone rushed over and affectionately held his arm.

"Martin, what are you doing here?"

Martin's displeasure was evident as he asked in a low voice, "What are you doing here?"

Debbie's face displayed shyness. "My mom and I went shopping and saw you in the elevator, so we came over to take a look! This is the discount area, why would you be here?"

Glancing at the shopping bags next to him, her expression immediately darkened.

"Martin, did you buy all of these? How can you wear such inexpensive clothes? Be careful, you might get a rash from those cheap fabrics!"

Randy and Patricia exchanged glances and grimaced, speechless.

Patricia couldn't help but strike back, "I've been wearing these for many years, but why haven't I gotten any skin diseases? Other people wear them just fine, it's only you who's so delicate and can't wear cheap clothes."

Debbie's face turned pale, and she lowered her head in grievance. "Patricia, why do you twist my words?"

Seeing her expression of being wronged, Patricia wanted nothing more than to tear off her hypocritical mask.

"You're being fake again! Debbie, why do you always have to pretend? Aren't you tired of it?"

As soon as the words fell, Manda appeared out of nowhere. She rushed forward and pushed Patricia, shielding Debbie behind her.

"Patricia, why do you always bully Debbie? Why can't you let go of the past and stop taking it out on Debbie?"

Caught off guard, Patricia stumbled back a couple of steps.

Martin narrowed his eyes dangerously, quickly grabbing her wrist and steadying her body. "Are you okay?"

Martin's concerned tone couldn't hide his worry.

Patricia shook her head, anger surging up inside her. If Randy wasn't present, she really wanted to have a big fight with this mother and daughter.

Choosing to swallow her anger, Randy, however, couldn't bear to see Patricia even slightly aggrieved.

He fiercely kicked Manda's leg, his face flushed with anger. "I warn you, if you lay a finger on my Mommy again, I won't be polite with you!"

Manda's leg was hurting from the kick, and her face turned red.

"I am your grandmother, how dare you kick me? No manners at all."

Randy angrily retorted, "You are not my Mommy's mom, so you're not my grandmother! Shameless!"

"You..." Manda's heart ached with anger.

Martin shielded Randy behind him, his stern face showing signs of growing wrath, "I respect you as an elder, but please place yourself in the right position and do what a senior should do. Otherwise, don't blame me for not being polite."

Frustrated by their protection of Patricia, Manda couldn't hold back, "Martin, don't forget that you and Debbie are..."

Afraid that she would ruin the situation, Debbie quickly interrupted, pulling Manda, "Mom, what are you doing? We are all one family. We shouldn't argue over trivial matters. Apologize to Randy and Patricia now."

"Apologize? I..." Manda's face was full of defiance, but before she could finish her words, she saw the look in Debbie's eyes and forcibly swallowed the rest.

Debbie deliberately put on a gracious and polite appearance and proactively apologized, "Patricia, Randy, I'm really sorry! My mother didn't mean it. I hope you won't blame her and can forgive her."

Patricia didn't want to create a scene in public and remained silent. Although Randy still looked angry, he didn't continue causing trouble.

Debbie looked at Martin with a smiling face and asked, "Martin, are you done shopping? If you're not done, can I accompany you?"

"No!" Randy refused without hesitation.

Debbie grabbed Martin's arm and acted coquettishly, "Martin, let me join you guys! We haven't gone shopping together yet!"

Annoyed by her persistence, Martin didn't want to drag on with her and casually replied, "Fine, come along if you want."

"Thank you, Martin!" Debbie’s face lit up with joy as she playfully tiptoed and, taking Martin by surprise, planted a kiss on his cheek, saying, "I always knew you were the best to me!"

Martin didn't expect such a sudden act from her and was stunned.

In the moment when Debbie kissed Martin, Patricia couldn't describe the mixed feelings in her heart. There was a hint of pain, but it was quickly masked by jealousy.

Randy became so angry that his face turned red. He almost couldn't resist rushing to hit Debbie, but Patricia timely noticed his intentions and pulled him towards the elevator.

"We've got Daddy's clothes, now let's go buy clothes for you! Children's clothes are on the eighth floor."

Watching her 'hastily retreat,' Debbie couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction.

The sudden kiss left Martin in a gloomy mood. His handsome face seemed to be overshadowed by a cloud, and his lips carried a cold curve.

This time, Patricia didn't take Randy to the discount children's clothing area, but instead went to the branded section on the eighth floor.

Randy’s looks were quite handsome. He had a slim waist and long legs, just like Martin. No matter what clothes he wore, he looked good in all of them. Patricia picked out many clothes for him to try on one by one.

During Randy's fitting, Patricia suddenly felt the urge to use the restroom. After giving Martin a nod, she got up to find it.

Debbie and Manda exchanged a glance.

Understanding each other's thoughts, Manda silently followed behind.

Because this mall was an old one, both floors shared one restroom. To reach the restroom, Patricia had to take the escalator or stairs down to the seventh floor.

The restroom was next to the stairs, so Patricia decided to take the stairs for convenience. As soon as she entered the hallway, Manda blocked her path.

Looking at this unexpected visitor before her, Patricia's eyes were filled with endless coldness. "What are you doing?"

With no one else around, Manda tore off her disguise, revealing her sinister true face. "Patricia, don't think I don't know why you've come back! Let me tell you, Martin is with my daughter. Don't even think about taking him away."

Patricia found her words amusing and chuckled. " Rest assured, I make it a rule not to engage in relationships. Since she's so fond of leftovers, she can have him! There's no need for any underhanded tactics."

Manda's face turned red with anger.

"You're calling Martin leftovers?"

Patricia arched an eyebrow and sneered. " Isn't he? We've already had children together, so what's left to be new? To be honest, it's like I've been in this dance for two years, and the steps never quite felt right. I was thinking about changing the tune. I just wasn't sure how to go about it, and then Debbie showed up! She took care of a big problem for me."

"You..."

Manda instantly turned livid, her face alternating between green and white, utterly unbecoming.

"If there's nothing else, I'll be on my way!" Satisfied with the effect, Patricia turned around with a victorious smile, ready to leave.

Manda's eyes turned bloodshot, her face twisted and grotesque. Watching Patricia descend the stairs, vicious thoughts surged through her mind as she fiercely pushed her hand forward--

As long as Patricia disappeared from this world, her daughter would have no worries.
