Soon, Patricia brought Ariel to the drug testing institution.
After handing over the medicine to the staff, Patricia asked, "How long does it usually take to get the results?"
The staff member replied, "If it's fast, it will take twenty days. If it's slow, it will take a little over a month. Once the results are out, we will give you a call."
Patricia asked, "Can we make it faster?"
The staff replied, "No, this is the fastest!"

Ariel felt a warmth in her heart. "I'm fine. I'm just in the early stages of pregnancy and experiencing strong morning sickness! Patricia said that it will improve after four months."
Riley didn't know what to say and took a moment to reconsider his words.
"You're expecting now, and it's crucial for you to stay positive! Remember, no matter how things turn out, your brother will always have your back. I won't let anyone harm you."
Ariel had been a reservoir of unshed tears.
She had stifled those tears even while grappling with the gnawing doubt that her life with Miles might have been a tapestry of deceptions.
Yet, upon hearing Riley's assurances, the floodgates she had so firmly closed gave way.
Her tears cascaded unrestrained, like a dam breached.
Her shoulders trembled with each sob.
"Brother, I'm so sorry... I just can't help it..."
The thought of Miles being the betrayer was too much to bear.
Then, she would be the one to blame for letting the wolf into the house.
It was her misjudgment that allowed Miles to take advantage.
Riley's heart clenched at her distress, and he soothed her gently, "Hey, there's no need for tears, my dear. You've done nothing to warrant an apology. If you say sorry once more, I might just start to get cross."
Ariel let out a small laugh, a "Pfft," even as her tears continued their relentless stream.
Her visibly upset state only deepened his concern.
"Remember, you all must be vigilant as well."
Riley continued with a firm tone, "And you, take extra care of yourself. Look after Patricia, too. Once we've apprehended the betrayer, I'll make sure to visit."
"OK!"
Before ending the call, he couldn't help but remind her worriedly, "Charles and Shane are getting older. I'm afraid they won't be able to handle it if they find out about this. Don't tell them for now. We'll wait until the time is right."
Riley said, "I understand! You and Shane should stay in Ivara City for now!"
He would come back after he completely dealt with the traitor.
Just in case Miles became angry and harmed Shane and Ariel.
Ariel obediently nodded. "OK!"
After ending the call, Patricia handed Ariel a tissue and hugged her to comfort her. "Charles is very capable. He will definitely find out the truth."
Ariel sniffled and wiped away her tears.
In these years, she felt like a fool, being deceived by Miles.
Fearful that Shane would worry, Ariel specifically went to the bathroom to use cold water to reduce the swelling in her eyes before returning to the hospital room with Patricia after confirming that there were no noticeable changes. As soon as they entered, Shane couldn't wait to pull her aside and ask, "How did it go? Are you pregnant?"
Ariel nodded.
Shane's legs went weak, nearly causing him to fall to the ground.

Shane let out a deep breath, relieved.

Upon hearing her words, Shane finally let go completely.
Martin returned safely.
Ariel was pregnant again.
Shane's mood became exceptionally good.
After a few days of treatment, Martin's condition stabilized significantly. After undergoing a final full-body examination to confirm his stable condition, he completed the discharge procedures and prepared to go to D country to meet Dr. Tate.
