Chapter 985 The True Face of Violet Exposed
Everyone turned to look at Charles, who had just shown up out of nowhere, then glanced at the photo in their hands.
"You're the cheating jerk, right? Dumped your girlfriend for a side chick? And you even brought her home for the night."
"Yeah, it's you. How dare you show your face here."
"Looks like it's true. From the moment you walked in, you only had eyes for that side chick, completely ignoring your girlfriend."
"Good thing we took action earlier. Both the side chick and the jerk deserve to pay."
Charles frowned deeply.
Without a word, he pulled out his phone and called Wyatt, giving him the address and saying, "Bring people over, and bring a lot."
Wyatt didn't ask any questions, just replied, "I'll be there in ten minutes."
After hanging up, Charles walked over to Hannah, trying to hug her, but she dodged him again.

Charles said softly, "Hannah, it's me, Charles. I'm here. I'm sorry I didn't protect you. Let me take you to the hospital."
Hearing Charles' name, there was finally a change in Hannah's eyes.
Her vision began to focus, slowly looking at Charles.
Her eyes seemed misty, and Charles' figure gradually became clear.
The moment she saw Charles clearly, all her grievances and fears surged out, and tears fell.
Hannah said, "You finally came."
Seeing her cry, Charles felt like crying too, tears welling up in his eyes.
He slowly reached out and gently pulled Hannah into his arms.
"I'm sorry. I didn't protect you. I should have been with you today. I'm sorry. Let me take you to the hospital first."

Charles picked her up in his arms and said to Stella before leaving, "Stella, you did well today. I'll take Hannah to the hospital first. Hold them off and don't let anyone leave. Wyatt will be here soon."
Stella promised confidently, "I know. I won't let anyone who bullied Hannah get away. I'll make them pay tenfold."
Suddenly, she remembered something, scanned the crowd, and angrily said, "That bitch Violet ran away."
Stella thought, 'She must have escaped through the back door of the kitchen. Not just her, others must have escaped from there too. Damn it.'
Charles glanced at the store's surveillance cameras, his thin lips pressed into a line. "It's okay. Before I come, Wyatt will bring them all back."
With that, he carried Hannah out without looking back.
Charles reminded, "Shirley, hold onto my clothes and follow me."
"Okay!" Shirley did as he said, holding onto his clothes and following him out.
Charles rushed Hannah to the hospital as quickly as possible. Due to the shock, she clung tightly to Charles' waist, not daring to let go.
Charles closed his eyes, forcing back his tears, then gently rubbed her head and said softly, "Don't be afraid. I'll always be by your side. I won't let anyone hurt you again. Be good. You're hurt and need to get checked. It wouldn't be good if there are any hidden injuries."
Shirley's eyes were swollen from crying. She held Hannah's hand and sobbed, "Hannah, don't be afraid. I'll always be by your side too. If those bad people dare to bully you again, I'll definitely avenge you."
Charles' heart was breaking, and his voice came out rough, "Hannah, be good. Lie down and get a brain scan to make sure everything's okay. I'll be right here with you."
With their comforting words, Hannah slowly loosened her grip.
Charles gently helped her lie down.
Because of the machine's radiation, Charles had Shirley wait outside while he stayed by Hannah's side.
Meanwhile, on the other side of town...
After making it home, Violet locked herself in her room, trembling on the bed.
Violet thought, 'Charles actually showed up. He shouldn't have seen me, right? Even if he did, it doesn't matter. I'm a patient now, and with Carter and Lassie protecting me, he won't dare do anything to me. Right. He won't dare.'
Carter, Lassie, and Austin were sitting at home chatting when they saw Violet rush back in a panic. The three exchanged glances.
Lassie worriedly said, "What's wrong with her? Is she having another episode?"
Carter dismissed it, "She'll be fine."
She was a selfish and malicious person, so no matter who she hurt, she wouldn't hurt herself.
These past few days, Carter had been thinking about how to tell Lassie the truth.
If Lassie knew that Violet was the culprit behind Shirley's abduction, she wouldn't be able to handle it.

Lassie said, "I have to go check on her."
Just as Lassie stood up, there was a sudden urgent knock on the door.
Lassie and Carter exchanged a look, halted their steps towards Violet, and walked to the door to open it.

Hearing this, Carter and Austin almost simultaneously stood up from the couch. "What?"
Austin rushed over, clenching his fists. "What did you just say?"
Wyatt didn't have time to repeat, and said sternly, "Hannah was seriously injured and has been taken to the hospital by Mr. Watson. But this matter can't be left unresolved. So, I must take her to see Mr. Watson and let him handle it."
