Chapter 749 Martin's Suggestion
Charles was so fast that he had a response in under five minutes.
"I went in and copied all the records," Charles said, "but they all look like trivial stuff."
"Send them to me!" Martin demanded.
"They're on their way. Just a few more seconds," Charles replied, "Check your email. They've been sent."
Martin opened his laptop, received the files, and started going through them.
Riley and Sebastian crowded around him.
They skimmed through the contents quickly.
Most of the emails were just work stuff—meeting schedules, employee rewards, and punishments. Nothing out of the ordinary.
"Nothing at all?" Riley frowned.
Sebastian suddenly slapped his forehead and laughed, "How could we be so dumb? He's too smart to use his work email for personal stuff. He must have another email."
Riley's face turned serious, "If that's the case, this just got a lot harder."
Charles, still on the line, heard everything and grinned, "What's so hard about that? Finding his other email isn't a big deal."
Riley and Sebastian exchanged surprised looks.
"You have a way?" Riley asked in astonishment.
"Of course!" Charles said proudly, "If he used the same computer or IP address, I can find it."
Sebastian's eyes widened, "Charles, you're amazing. You can really do that?"
Charles basked in the praise, "It's easy! I once hacked into a highly impregnable national database. If it's a computer problem, I can solve it."
Riley looked at Martin with admiration, "You've taught Charles well!"
Martin forced a smile, "It's Patricia who taught him well, not me."
When Martin first met Charles, he was already a computer genius who had even planted viruses in Martin's company, causing significant losses.
Sebastian said, "Charles, we're counting on you."
"Give me half an hour," Charles replied and hung up.
As they waited, Martin turned to Riley, "We can't put all our eggs in one basket. We need to find the email records and also capture the design department director."
"Right," Riley agreed.
He looked at Sebastian. "Sebastian, Martin isn't familiar with the situation here in Country Y. You need to find Isadora."
Sebastian nodded and was about to leave when Martin stopped him.
"I have an idea," Martin said.
Riley and Sebastian looked at him.
"What idea?" Riley asked.
Martin's face was serious, "It's a bit sneaky, but it's our best way."
"Go on," Riley urged.
"Even if we can't find Isadora, his family is still here. Instead of searching for him, we can make him come to us," Martin explained.
Sebastian's eyes lit up, "Martin's right! Instead of wasting time searching, we can make him come to us. He thinks Riley is too upright to do such things, which is why he ran away so recklessly. Let's show him the power of the Koch family."
Martin looked at Riley, "What do you think?"
Riley hesitated, "What if the threat doesn't work on him?"
Martin grinned, a cold glint in his eyes, "He might not care about his wife and kids, but what about his parents? Everyone has a weak spot."
Some men thought their wives and kids were replaceable. With enough money, they couldremarry and have more kids.
But parents? They were irreplaceable.
No matter what Isadora cares about, if they can find his weak spot, they can handle him.
Sebastian nodded, "I agree with Martin. We're in a critical situation. We can't afford to be too considerate. Sometimes, you gotta take drastic measures. And we're not gonna hurt his family, just force him to come out."
After a brief hesitation, Riley agreed.
Sebastian smiled, "I'll catch his family and relatives right now. Let's see if he can ignore his loved ones."
Sebastian left.
Martin and Riley waited in the office for news from Charles.
In less than half an hour, Charles had results.
This time, the information sent was not much.
Charles said, "I checked his IP address and the same computer. Found another email account with only one contact. I've copied their chat records and sent it to Martin's computer. You guys can take a look."
Martin opened the files.
Sure enough, there was only one contact.
Martin opened their chat record. Seeing the contents, his eyes darkened, and a cold smile curled on his lips.
While Charles was sending the information, Sebastian had caught Isadora's wife, kids, parents, and relatives.
Because Riley hadn't shown up, rumors were rampant, and the Koch Group's stock price kept falling.
Patricia, Ariel, and Jeremy arrived in Country Y early in the morning.
After returning, Patricia told Ariel to go home and rest, "Ariel, you've been traveling all day, and you're pregnant. Go home and rest first. We'll look for Riley in the morning."
Ariel shook her head firmly, "Since the Koch Group went public, its stock price has never been this low. I must find him. I can't let the company go bankrupt on my watch."
Patricia said worriedly, "But where will you look? Riley said he hasn't seen him since the incident. He's hiding, and even Riley can't find him. How will you?"
"I..." Ariel swallowed her words. Seeing Patricia's uncompromising stance, she reluctantly agreed to go home and rest for now.
It took over an hour to get from the airport to Silver Birch Sanctuary.
By the time they got home, it was almost five o'clock.
Everyone at home was resting.
Riley, Sebastian, and Martin hadn't returned.
Patricia, worried about Ariel, wanted to stay with her, but Ariel refused. Ariel said, "No need! So much has happened these past few days, you're tired too. Go to your room and rest."
"No, I must stay with you!" Patricia insisted, fearing Ariel might do something rash. She was determined to stay with her.
Seeing her firm attitude, Ariel had no choice but to agree.
After a quick wash, the two finally lay down on the soft bed.
Patricia was exhausted, having not rested well for several days. As soon as her head hit the pillow, she fell into a deep sleep.
Listening to the even breathing beside her, Ariel quietly opened her eyes in the dark, got out of bed stealthily, and left the room with her phone.
She had to find Miles.
She needed Miles to give Riley and Shane an explanation.
