Chapter 873 Farewell Letter
The second Ellen showed up, she lost it completely.
She started cussing out Charles like there was no tomorrow, "You bastard! Martin killed so many people. You think knowing who my husband is will change anything? Will it bring him back? Your whole family is trash. You all deserve to die. Martin's going to hell, dead or alive."
She was a mess, eyes all red and wild like a rabid animal.
Charles knew pushing her for answers was pointless.
Ellen was clearly off her rocker.
She was extreme, with a seriously twisted personality.
No point in trying to reason with someone like that.
Charles barked, "Get them outta here."
Ellen kept spewing vile curses, each one nastier than the last.
If they dragged her out like this, it would definitely draw a crowd. Charles, fed up, just knocked her out with a swift hit to the back of the neck.
"Martin's a bastard. Patricia's a husband-stealing bitch. Your whole family are bastards, all of you..." Her ranting cut off mid-sentence.
With a tilt of her head, she was out cold.
Finally, some peace and quiet.
Andrea pleaded, "Charles, please, let me see Randy. I swear I won't hurt him, please."
Charles, worried Andrea would also cause a scene, knocked her out too.
After uncovering Andrea and Ellen's scheme, Charles kept them away from Randy, locking them up separately in this rundown neighborhood.
Worried Ellen's cursing would draw attention, he had her dosed with sleeping pills daily, keeping her knocked out.
Andrea was quieter, so he didn't drug her.
As expected, once Andrea vanished, Randy went nuts looking for her.
The whole family joined the search.
Martin sent out everyone, practically turning Sunset Bay upside down.
But they found zilch.
How could they find people he had hidden so well?
Andrea sobbed, her voice breaking, "Give me one more chance. You can have someone watch me. I swear, I won't hurt Randy. I swear."
Charles's patience was shot. Not wanting to waste more time, he handed her a pen and paper again.
Charles said, "I'll dictate, you write! If you don't, I'll have your mother killed."
Hearing him threaten Ellen, Andrea cried even harder, "You can't do this, you can't."
Charles said coldly, "You two plotted against the Langley family. The fact that I haven't killed you is already merciful! This is your last chance! If you don't comply, I will definitely kill you. I mean it! Don't test me!"
Andrea looked up at him, "If Randy finds out, he'll hate you."
Charles smirked confidently, "Really? Wanna bet? See if he picks you or me?"
Andrea fell silent, grinding her teeth in frustration.
Having been with Randy for so long, she knew him too well.
If he had to choose, he would definitely choose his family.
No matter how much he loved her, he wouldn't abandon his family for her.
Charles continued, "If he finds out you tried to kill his family, what do you think he'll do? Would he kill you himself?"
Andrea didn't dare answer. Because she knew Charles was right.
If she dared to harm Randy's family, he would undoubtedly push her away without hesitation.
Charles said, "Pick up the pen, now. Don't make me regret it! My time is limited. I don't have time to waste on you."
Andrea's tears kept streaming as she picked up the pen with shaky hands.
Charles started dictating, "Dear Randy, please forgive me for leaving without saying goodbye! By the time you get this letter, I'll be gone from Sunset Bay! I don't love you; I love someone else! I never saw my feelings clearly before, but when he had a car accident a few days ago, I realized he's the one I truly love. I was just used to being with you. I'm leaving to be with him. Don't come looking for me. Let's both move on and be well. Forget me!"
Andrea wrote it all down, her tears splashing onto the paper, leaving big wet spots.
When she finished, she couldn't hold back her sobs, looking at the breakup letter she had just written.
After she signed it, Charles took the letter, checked it over, and, seeing no issues, folded it and put it in an envelope.
Charles said, "For the rest of your life, you'll never see Randy again! I'll have people watching you. If I find out you try to come back or get close to Randy, I won't show any mercy!"
With that, he turned and headed for the door.
Watching him leave, Andrea suddenly rushed forward, grabbing his legs from behind, pleading desperately, "Let me see Randy one last time! Please, before I go, let me see him one last time."
Charles didn't hesitate, "No way! You'll never see him again, and I won't let you get close to him."
He kicked her hands away, opened the door, and left.
Andrea cried out, "Charles, Charles, I beg you, let me see Randy one last time. I beg you."
Charles went down to the first floor, still hearing Andrea's voice echoing.
He took the letter, got into his car, pulled out his phone, and made a call.
Charles ordered, "Stick to the original plan, take them out through the route I mentioned. I've set everything up along the way, they won't be found."
"Got it!" After the other party confirmed, Charles ended the call.
He looked at the envelope in his hand, his eyes flickering, then placed it on the passenger seat and drove off.
What happened between his parents and Hunter taught him not to be too soft, or it would hurt not just him but everyone around him.
He couldn't bring himself to kill them, so the only option was to send them away, making sure they never come back.
When Charles got back to Sunshine Manor, it was already late at night.
The house was still brightly lit.
Fannie and Maria were sitting with Patricia on the living room sofa. Seeing him return, they quickly approached, "Still no sign of Andrea?"
Charles raised the envelope, "Call Randy. I have a letter from Andrea for him. Tell him to come back quick."
Patricia sighed in relief and immediately called Randy.
Randy rushed back as fast as he could.
Having searched tirelessly for a day and night, he looked worn out.
Randy asked, "Charles, did you find a letter from Andrea? Where is it? Let me see it!"
Charles handed him the envelope.
Charles explained, "This letter was wedged in my car window! I saw the signature and realized it was from Andrea to you."
After searching for a day and night, he finally had news of Andrea. Randy excitedly took the envelope, his hands trembling as he opened it.
