Chapter 1043 Found More Clues
Randy hadn't seen Charles this excited in a long time and immediately helped him to the computer. He thought there might be news about Hannah.
To his surprise, the computer only displayed a blurry shadow, so indistinct that it was impossible to make out any features. If one didn't look closely, they might think it was just an object.
"Charles, what can you see here? Is the system malfunctioning?"
"Impossible, the system I developed won't have any issues!" As Charles spoke, he skillfully operated the computer.
In no time, he located the IP address where the photo originated. It was actually Country H.
Randy was puzzled. "It shows Country H! The photo's origin is Country H? It must be a coincidence, right? We've checked all the entry and exit points in Country Z, and there's no record of Hannah exiting. Hannah should still be in Country Z. How could she be in Country H?"
"Smuggling!" Charles only said one word, and Randy understood immediately, his eyes widening.
No wonder they hadn't found any information after searching for so long. If Hannah had indeed been smuggled into Country H, then everything would make sense.
Charles didn't explain further. He quickly found the phone number of the phone's owner through the photo, then used the phone number to pinpoint the police station's area, and quietly hacked into their street surveillance videos.
The photo's timestamp showed it was 7 AM in Country H. He searched within that time frame.
It was still early, and aside from some elderly people going out to buy groceries and students heading to school, most people were just waking up, so the streets weren't crowded.
The photo was too blurry for him to determine if the person in it was Hannah. He wouldn't jump to conclusions.
He only believed what he saw with his own eyes; he needed to find something clearer to know if it was Hannah.
To help Charles stay clear-headed while searching, Randy went to the bathroom, wet a cold towel, and handed it to Charles.
"Charles, wipe your face first to clear your head, so you don't miss anything."
Charles had been so busy looking for Hannah that he hadn't cut his hair in four months; the last time was the day before their engagement.
His beard was occasionally trimmed by Randy when he couldn't stand it anymore.
Trimming a beard was simple, but Randy couldn't cut hair. He had hired a barber to come to the house, but Charles wouldn't cooperate, so he ended up with long hair.
Knowing how he looked, Charles grabbed the towel and roughly wiped his face to see more clearly.
The cold water on the towel stimulated his nerves through his skin, instantly making him more alert.
After putting the towel back in the bathroom, Randy returned to the computer to help him look.
Charles didn't take long to find the figure he had been longing to see in the surveillance footage outside the police station.
With trembling hands, he pointed at the woman in the footage and asked Randy, "Randy, help me look. Is it Hannah?"
Randy widened his eyes in surprise. "It really looks like her."
Because they had found so many similar-looking people recently, he couldn't be sure if it was just a resemblance or really Hannah.
Charles was so excited that his body was trembling. "It's not just a resemblance; it's Hannah! I can't be wrong!"
Even though the footage wasn't clear and the camera was far away, only barely showing Hannah's appearance and figure, he had a very strong feeling. It was Hannah.
Charles quickly adjusted the surveillance video's resolution to the highest. The person in the footage became much clearer.
This time, even Randy was 100% sure it was Hannah. "It's Hannah, definitely Hannah! Whether it's her appearance or height, you can tell it's Hannah at a glance! Charles, you finally found Hannah, that's great."
"Judging by Hannah's appearance, it seems like the person hasn't mistreated her. She should be doing okay during this time!"
Then Randy thought of something and scratched his head. "But if she's fine and can move freely, why hasn't she contacted us? Doesn't she know we're worried about her?"
Charles didn't hear a word of Randy's questions; he grabbed Randy's arm with trembling hands. "Is Dad in Country H?"
Randy nodded. "Yes, Carter had an incident, and Dad and Uncle Ryan went to Country H a few days ago."
Charles said, "Quick, call Dad. I'll give him the exact address later. He needs to go immediately; I'm afraid the person will take her away again."
"Charles, don't worry, I'll call Dad right now."
Saying that, Randy reached for his phone. But he was so nervous that he almost dropped it.
The call connected quickly. Martin seemed to be sleeping, his voice sounding hoarse. "Randy, what's wrong? Did something happen to Charles?"
Randy said, "Dad, Charles found Hannah. She's in Country H! The exact location is First Mountain City. You go there first, and once Charles finds her exact address through the surveillance, you can take the police to rescue her."
Martin was startled by his words but quickly calmed down, being a man of experience. "You said Hannah is in Country H?"
"Yes! Charles's software just found her! The last place she appeared was First Mountain City! You go there first, and we'll give you the exact address once Charles finds it."
After speaking, Randy remembered something and quickly added, "We don't know who the person is or how many there are. Don't go alone. If you can find bodyguards, take them. If not, take the police! We need to find Hannah, but you must stay safe too."
Martin laughed. "I know what to do! I'll head to First Mountain City with Ryan right now! Once Charles locates Hannah, send me the information immediately."
Randy said, "Okay! We'll stay in touch."
"Alright!"
After ending the call, Martin went to Ryan's room, found him, and they headed to First Mountain City as quickly as possible.
Randy put his phone back on the desk and looked at Charles's computer. "How's it going? Any new information? Can you find the person who took Hannah?"
Charles continued watching the surveillance and said, "A woman took her from the police station."
Could he have been wrong all along? Was it a woman who took Hannah? Why would that woman take Hannah? What was her motive?
From the surveillance just now, it seemed she treated Hannah well, always holding her hand wherever they went. When getting into a taxi, she even let Hannah go in first.
