Chapter 1073 The Sweetest Words of Love

The ambiguous atmosphere seemed to spread from the video to the entire car, causing the temperature inside to keep rising.

Hannah and Charles both felt awkward.

Charles, who was driving, almost swerved off the lane due to his unsteady hands. He coughed awkwardly, deliberately avoiding looking at the video, focusing on driving.

Hannah's face turned red, even her ears were flushed. She instinctively covered her eyes with her hands but couldn't help her curiosity, peeking through the gap between her fingers.

In the video, the man was holding the back of the female lead's neck with one hand and had his other hand in her hair, his face buried in her neck, kissing every inch of it.

The female lead had her eyes closed, her body arched involuntarily, presenting a very suggestive posture.

Watching this scene, scattered images suddenly flashed in Hannah's mind.

In the images, Charles was also pressing her down on the bed, his attractive thin lips trailing from her forehead downwards, kissing her eyebrows, eyes, nose, cheeks, lips, earlobes, neck, covering every part of her body with kisses.

"The first time having sex will hurt a lot. You can still stop now." In the darkness, Charles's voice was suppressed and restrained.

Then came a heart-wrenching pain, as if her body was being torn in half, and she broke out in a cold sweat from the pain.

He asked, "Does it hurt a lot?"

"I don't feel any pain at all, keep going."

"Then I'll go slower!"

Everything that happened that night flashed through Hannah's mind.

Hannah was stunned, looking at Charles in disbelief, and suddenly said, "Did we ever do that?"

Charles didn't understand what she meant for a moment and raised an eyebrow, asking, "What are you talking about?"

Hannah put down her hand, pointing at the male and female leads still entangled on the bed in the video on the central control screen. "Like that! I just saw you pressing me down on the bed, and I felt a lot of pain."

A sharp screech of brakes echoed through the air. The champagne-colored business car came to a stop on the straight lane.

Fortunately, they were out of the city now, and there weren't many vehicles on the road, which was wider than in the city, so no accident occurred.

Hannah was still immersed in the fragments that had just flashed in her mind.

She blinked her eyes at Charles, "Did I remember wrong? I don't know why, but seeing them kiss, a lot of inexplicable images suddenly appeared in my mind. I saw you and me, both of us without clothes, and you told me that the first time having sex would hurt a lot. It really hurt, but only for a while, then there was a very strange feeling, very comfortable, a feeling that can't be described in words."

She described it in such detail. Even Charles felt his face flush and his heart race.

Especially seeing Hannah say it so openly and without blushing, he was so embarrassed he wished he could find a hole to hide in.

Charles coughed twice, interrupting Hannah's words, "You remembered?"

Hannah's eyes widened in surprise. "So, what I just remembered wasn't an illusion, it was real? We... we had sex?"

Charles's purpose for this trip to Crystal Blue Lake was to help Hannah regain her memory.

Now that she remembered, Charles naturally wouldn't deny it. He held her hand happily and said softly, "Yes! It wasn't an illusion, it was real! You were once my fiancée, and we were a couple."

Hannah felt like she had heard a very absurd joke. "How is that possible? I don't even know you! My name is Evelyn Ross, I grew up in Country H, and I've never been here. How could we be a couple?" This was too ridiculous. Absolutely impossible!

Charles knew she couldn't accept it all at once, so he wasn't in a hurry. He proceeded step by step, saying slowly, "Your name isn't Evelyn Ross, it's Hannah White. You're a sophomore at D University. You just turned twenty this year! Your parents are from Sunset Bay and immigrated to Country D a long time ago. Stella is my cousin, and you two are classmates and roommates in the same department. We met through her."

Hannah frowned tightly. "But I don't remember any of you!"

Charles knew she wouldn't easily believe him, so he took out his phone, opened the photo album, and handed it to Hannah.

"Look, these are photos of you and me, and this is a photo of you and Stella, and this is a photo of you with my family! You spent last New Year's at my house, and my sister Fannie took a lot of photos of us."

Hannah looked at the photo album on Charles's phone.

In the first photo, she was wearing a furry hat, smiling happily, while Charles had his eyes closed, kissing her cheek. The background seemed to be in a mall, bustling with a New Year's atmosphere.

The second photo was a big family photo. She only recognized Charles, Martin, and Randy; she didn't know the others.

Charles pointed at the people in the photo and introduced them to her, "This is my father, Martin Langley, whom you met at the hospital in Country H. The woman next to him is my mother, Patricia Watson. This is my older sister, Fannie Watson, and next to her is her husband.

"This is my younger sister, Maria Langley, and next to her is my brother, Declan Langley. This is Randy Langley, whom you know, my twin brother. This was taken by the housekeeper during dinner. My mother even had one printed and hung in the living room on the first floor of our house."

The third photo was a bit older. It seemed to be summer at the time, and she and Stella each had an ice cream, with Stella holding up the phone for a selfie.

Charles explained, "Stella sent this to me! We had just met not long before, and she said she wanted to introduce you to me as a girlfriend. I didn't agree, so she sent me your photos every day in different ways."

At first, he ignored them. Later, when he realized he liked Hannah, he went through the chat history and saved all the photos to his phone, not expecting them to come in handy today.

Hannah flipped through the photos on Charles's phone one by one. There weren't many photos on Charles's phone, but almost every one of them had her in it.

As if sensing her confusion, Charles explained, "I don't like taking photos. I only like to collect everything about you, so my photo album is full of you."

This was undoubtedly the most touching love confession in the world.

Even though Hannah didn't remember anything, she could clearly recognize that the person in Charles's photo album was indeed her, not someone who just looked similar.

The photos also had timestamps, from last year to this January. Charles's words might be false, but the timestamps couldn't be faked. Which meant, everything he said was true.

The person in the photos was really her. They really were a couple once. They had even reached the point of engagement.

But if that was the case, why didn't she have any memories of being Hannah?
