Chapter 1213 Remembering Everything

Tina's calculations were spot on.

The next evening, after being unconscious for three days, Hannah finally woke up.

She slowly opened her eyes to see Charles' anxious and concerned face. Looking down from Charles, she saw Stella, Patricia, and on the other side of the bed, Lassie and Carter.

Seeing Hannah awake, Stella pushed Charles aside and walked up to Hannah, waving her hand in front of her face. "Hannah, do you remember me?"

Hannah blinked, a hint of confusion in her eyes. "Who are you?"

Hearing this, Stella pouted, feeling wronged.

"Seriously, Hannah? You don't remember me? You must have remembered Violet's identity and forgotten everything that happened as Hannah! Our friendship is gone just like that."

Lassie believed her and asked nervously, "Violet, do you really not remember Stella? Or have you forgotten everything that happened after you were kidnapped?"

Patricia added, "Yeah! Have you forgotten everything? Not even a little bit?"

Hannah nodded. "Yes! I've forgotten everything?"

Stella cried even harder.

Lassie anxiously looked at Carter. "Could the hypnosis have damaged Violet's memory? It's supposed to be just hypnosis, not amnesia, where you remember one part and forget another."

"Yeah, yeah! I'll go find Tina right away and ask her to check on Hannah," Patricia said, about to run out, but Charles stopped her.

Patricia turned back, puzzled. "Hannah doesn't remember anything that happened, and you're not worried at all?"

Charles' brow twitched, and he couldn't help but smile. "If she really didn't remember, she wouldn't have calmly asked who Stella was at first sight. She would have shown a defensive reaction immediately."

Patricia was stunned.

Lassie was also stunned.

Stella stopped crying, her tear-filled eyes looking at Hannah.

Upon closer inspection, she noticed a smile in Hannah's eyes.

Clearly, Hannah was amused by her crying.

Stella was both angry and amused, giving Hannah a light slap on the shoulder, crying even harder, but this time out of joy. "You dared to trick me! Do you know how worried I was, afraid you wouldn't recognize me anymore! Afraid you wouldn't consider me a friend anymore! I'm the Cupid between you and Charles, you can't forget me, or I'll curse you."

Hannah grabbed her hand, teasing, "How could I forget you! Even if I forget everyone else, I won't forget you!"

Stella leaned on Hannah, crying happily.

"You know, I've been touring with Randy, so busy I didn't know you went through so much. Every time I called, Charles lied, saying you were fine!

If I had known you were in trouble, I would have come back sooner."

Hannah laughed. "What could you have done if you came back? Just one more person to worry about! Actually, I've been safe this whole time! We just set a trap to catch Austin and his gang.

Everything went according to our plan, so I had no problems!

Besides, you finally found something you're passionate about, you should stick with it, work hard, and pursue your goals."

Stella nodded vigorously, excited. "Yes! I never realized how fun playing the piano could be! When I play, I feel like I'm transcending!"

Especially when I see Randy performing on stage, in his white suit, looking like a prince from a fairy tale.

At that moment, I thought, one day, I want to perform on stage like him."

Hannah patted her back comfortingly. "Where there's a will, there's a way. And you're so smart, once you set your mind to it, you'll definitely achieve it!"

"Mm!" Stella nodded firmly, letting go of Hannah, looking at her intently, asking cautiously, "Do you really remember everything? About Violet? And about Hannah?"

Hannah nodded firmly. "You're my good friend Stella, the heiress of Nexus Holdings Corporation!"

Then her gaze moved to Lassie. "She's my mom, Lassie."

Next, she looked at Carter. "He's my dad, Carter."

Finally, she looked at Patricia. "She's Charles' mom, Patricia."

Lastly, her gaze fell on Charles.

Charles looked back at her.

He didn't say anything, but the atmosphere subtly changed.

Stella looked at Hannah, then at Charles, shivering and rubbing her arms. "Your looks are giving me goosebumps! Alright, we know you two have a lot to talk about, so we'll leave you alone! We'll get out of your way!"

With that, she pulled Patricia, Lassie, and Carter out of the room.

Lassie had so much more to say to Hannah, but didn't want to intrude, so she reluctantly left, looking back with every step.

The room suddenly became quiet.

Charles looked at Hannah without speaking.

Hannah looked at Charles without speaking.

They just stared at each other.

Though they didn't say a word, it felt like they had said a thousand.

After a while, Hannah broke the silence, opening her arms to Charles. "Charles, I missed you so much."

With those words, Charles' defenses crumbled.

His eyes reddened, and he hugged Hannah tightly. Hannah placed her hands on his back, her eyes also red, her voice choked with emotion.

"Charles, I remember everything. I remember I was born on a snowy day, and my name is Violet."

"I remember always loving to play with you, clinging to you more than to my parents."

"I remember, even though I was young, I knew I wanted to be your wife when I grew up."

"When we were kids, Tyler always bullied me because he was the youngest. Every time, you stood up for me and taught him a lesson."

"I remember the last night before we parted, you kissed me!"

A kiss as light as a dragonfly's touch, yet it left them breathless, excited, and nervous, their hearts pounding as if they would leap out of their throats.

"Even when you weren't with me, you marked the key points in my high school math books and mailed them to me for review. My grades improved dramatically because of that."

With each memory she recounted, Charles' heart pounded harder.

One by one, each memory was as clear to him as it was to her, never forgotten.

"Do you remember everything?" Charles asked.

Hannah nodded firmly. "I remember my best friend in elementary school, my best friend in middle school, and... I remember..."

Suddenly, a terrifying memory she wanted to forget surged forward.

Hannah screamed in terror, pushing Charles away. "No, don't come near me!"
