Chapter 99 This is My Other Son

After seeing his face clearly, Ryan and Carter exclaimed at the same time, "Randy, how could it be Randy...?"

Martin, upon hearing this, stood up abruptly and rushed over.

As soon as he confirmed that it was indeed Randy, he gently patted his little cheek and embraced him, saying softly, "Randy, wake up, Randy..."

Ryan was puzzled, "Why is it Randy? Martin, Randy was kidnapped, how could you as his father not know?"

Carter also had a perplexed expression, "Shouldn't Randy be in the hospital? When was he abducted?"

After speaking, all three were momentarily stunned.

They all felt that something was not right, but for a moment, they couldn't put their finger on it.

Martin took out his phone and called Alan, asking, "When was Randy kidnapped?"

Alan was taken aback by the question.

"Randy has been in the hospital all along! I just came from there."

Upon hearing this, both of them fell into silence.

Martin looked at the child in his arms and then at his phone. A memory flashed through his mind, something he wanted to grasp, but quickly disappeared.

Ryan kicked Roger to the ground.

"You've got some nerve, daring to kidnap our boss's son. You're asking to die!"

Roger was scared out of his wits, "He is Charles, Patricia's son! I personally abducted him at the entrance of Blue Sky Kindergarten! Before the kidnapping, we double-checked multiple times, there's no mistake! Even if you gave me the courage of a lion, I wouldn't dare to kidnap Martin's son!"

"Is he really Charles?"

"He is really Patricia's son?" Ryan and Carter asked at the same time.

"Damn it!" Ryan seemed to have discovered something and couldn't help asking, "Are you sure he is Charles? Not Randy?"

Roger nodded firmly, "He is Charles! If we abducted the wrong person, why hasn't he defended himself!?"

Ryan became even more certain of his guess. Carter seemed to understand something as well.

Martin hung up the phone and stared icy daggers at Roger, his voice as cold as the frost, "When did you kidnap him?"

The tone was chilling, coated with a layer of frost.

Roger didn't dare to be careless and carefully thought it over before firmly saying, "It was November 16th, Wednesday, at five o'clock in the afternoon,"

Martin asked, "Are you sure?"

Roger nodded forcefully and replied, "For such an important matter, I wouldn't make a mistake."

The sinister chill in Martin's eyes caused the air pressure in the warehouse to drop.

On November 16th, Wednesday, at five o'clock in the afternoon, he was at the hospital with Randy.

Late at night, Patricia came to seek Alan's help and informed him that their child had been abducted by a kidnapper near the kindergarten.

He had been at the hospital with Randy until Patricia's incident occurred.

Considering the timeline, it was impossible for Roger to have taken Randy.

Therefore— Martin's eyes flickered with a realization, his gaze turning crimson.

Ryan exclaimed excitedly, " I told you! I wasn't mistaken that day. I really saw Randy at the amusement park! I've been saying there are two Randys—Patricia gave birth to twins, but nobody believed me. Do you believe it now? There really are two."

Martin looked at Charles, who was unconscious in his arms, with excitement.

His eyes welled up with intense sadness as his slender fingers gently traced the contours of Charles' face, outlining features—eyes, nose, and mouth—all identical to Randy's.

This was his son. Martin's son. He actually had another son. His name was Charles.

Thinking about how Charles almost had an accident, and he may never know that he has such a son, he couldn't help but tremble with fear, secretly grateful that he came in time.

Everything is still possible.

Carter stepped on Roger's shoulder and demanded sternly, "What's wrong with him? Why won't he wake up?"

Roger dared not speak, enduring the intense pain in his shoulder, gritting his teeth, "He's fine, he just took sleeping pills. He'll wake up once the effect wears off."

Hearing this, Carter was infuriated and kicked him again.

"He's only a four-year-old child, and you actually fed him sleeping pills. Are you even human?"

Roger, sweating profusely from the pain, replied, "It was the employer's order. We just do what we're paid for!"

Carter pressed on, "Who is your employer?"

Roger shook his head, "I don't know. I only met her once. She was wearing a hat, sunglasses, and a mask. Besides knowing she's a woman, I don't know anything else."

Ryan followed up with another kick, saying, "Do you think we're fools? Are you going to tell us or not?"

Roger, on the verge of tears, exclaimed, "I truly don't know! Even if you kill me, I still wouldn't know!"

Unwilling to give up, Ryan wanted to continue questioning, but Carter stopped him, "Enough, his testimony matches Grant's exactly. It should be true."

Martin lifted Charles up, his legs trembling from the intense emotions, almost losing balance.

Ryan, fearing that Martin might accidentally drop Charles, tried to help but was rebuffed when he said, "No need, I'll do it myself!"

This was his son, and he wanted to take care of him by himself.

Helpless, Ryan could only let him have his way.

"You two stay here and handle things; I'll take Charles to the hospital first!"

After leaving a remark, Martin carried Charles and left without looking back, driving to the hospital in a black SUV at the fastest speed possible.

Charles was being treated in the emergency room, while Martin sat on a bench outside the hospital.

Normally, he was mentally strong, but now his hands and feet couldn't stop trembling. Charles, please be safe. Please be safe. We haven't even met yet!

You haven't called me "Daddy" yet!

After an hour of rescue efforts, Charles was wheeled out of the emergency room. Martin couldn't wait and asked anxiously, "How is my son? Is he okay?"

The doctor reassured him, "We have conducted a series of tests, and so far, we haven't found any abnormalities. His unconsciousness is due to the excessive consumption of sleeping pills. Once the effect of the sleeping pills wears off, he will wake up. We will monitor him overnight in the ward and take further measures if he doesn't wake up."

Hearing that Charles was fine, Martin let out a sigh of relief.

Charles was assigned to a VIP ward.

Martin sat by his bed in a daze, staring at his sleeping and unconscious son, and couldn't help but smile foolishly.

Although he looked exactly like Randy, he still couldn't get enough of looking at him.

When Ryan arrived, she saw him gazing at Charles with a foolish smile on his face.

Ryan rolled her eyes speechlessly, saying, "Martin, stop staring. I know you're happy about having another son, but no matter how much you look, he won't turn into a flower."

Martin ignored her, paying no attention.

Carter reported, " The OMM cargo ship has been seized, and the captain and other crew members have been detained. I have sent someone to investigate their headquarters in Ivara to determine if it was the captain's individual action or company policy. As for Roger, I interrogated him thoroughly. He seemed to treat Charles relatively well during the kidnapping, so I haven't dealt with him for now. He is being held in the cargo hold until Charles wakes up and can handle him."

This time, Martin finally responded.

"Yes! We'll handle him when Charles wakes up."

Seeing Martin completely focused on Charles, Ryan and Carter didn't disturb him and found a place to rest nearby.

Charles remained unconscious for the whole night, only regaining consciousness the next day.

As soon as he opened his eyes, he met a pair of bloodshot hawk-like eyes—
