Chapter 71 Debbie's Crimes Revealed

In the orthopedics department of the hospital.

After a long day, Debbie and her, Manda, were exhausted. Manda's condition had worsened due to constantly needing to go to the bathroom and moving too frequently.

Debbie angrily knocked the teacup off the bedside table, making a crisp sound, her face twisted with fury. "That bastard Randy dared to humiliate me! I will make him pay."

Manda felt her chest about to explode with anger.

"When did that bastard become so cunning? He used to just have tantrums and act recklessly, without any brains. Now, it's like he's a different person."

Her words reminded Debbie of something that flashed through her mind.

"Mom, what did you just say?"

Manda thought they shared the same thought and wondered, "Today, Randy seemed a bit different from usual! It's like he's become smarter! More scheming than before."

Debbie's audacious idea popped into her mind.

"Could it be that he is not Randy?"

But rather Randy's twin brother?

Otherwise, why would they have the same face but such different personalities?

Manda thought she had gone mad and hurriedly said, "If he's not Randy, who else could he be? Even if we make mistakes, Martin can't possibly mistake his own son, right?"

"Maybe, he is Randy's twin brother," Debbie courageously voiced her thoughts.

Manda froze, unable to believe it. "Twin brothers? Patricia gave birth to twin boys?"

Debbie nodded with a serious expression and recounted what Gladys had witnessed to Manda.

After listening, Manda was completely shaken.

"How lucky that Patricia, that little bitch, gave birth to two sons for Martin all at once. If Martin finds out about the existence of the other son, where will you stand in his eyes? Moreover, judging from today's interaction, this little bastard is clearly not easy to deal with, probably even more difficult than Randy."

Debbie narrowed her eyes, concealing her viciousness.

"So, I absolutely cannot let Martin know of his existence! It would be best..." pausing for a moment, she wickedly continued, "...if I can make him and Patricia disappear together."

Manda immediately understood what she meant and sighed, "According to the original plan, your dad was supposed to get rid of Patricia today! But we ruined it. Now Martin has people watching over Patricia's room, and it might be difficult to make a move. We can only wait until she's discharged from the hospital."

Debbie clenched her hands tightly.

Her nails buried deep into her flesh without her even realizing it.

"She got lucky this time, but she won't be so fortunate next time!" he said.

As soon as the words fell, the door to the hospital room was suddenly kicked open.

Both of them were startled and turned to look at the door.

Martin walked in, his entire face covered in frost, looking like Satan himself emerging from hell.

Debbie was about to be happy to see him, but his appearance scared her. Her heart sank, and she immediately felt that nothing good would come of this.

"Martin, why are you here?" she asked.

Martin didn't waste any words with her. He grabbed her by the neck with his big hand, pushing her against the backrest of the hospital bed, forcing her to tilt her head up and look at him in a submissive position. His ink-dark eyes seized her.

"Debbie, did you really think I, Martin, would spare you again and again? Indulge you?" he said.

Debbie's face turned red, her lips bruised. She looked at Martin in fear, as if she was looking at a stranger. She couldn't believe that this man in front of her was her fiancé.

No matter what she did in the past, Martin would at most scold her a few times, but he had never resorted to violence against her.

Manda was scared by Martin's appearance, afraid that he would harm Debbie. She hurriedly wheeled her wheelchair over, trying to pull Martin away.

Unfortunately, as soon as her hand touched Martin, he pushed her away.

The wheelchair lost balance, causing Manda to fall to the ground, aggravating her injuries, and the pain caused her to break out in cold sweat, curling up in a ball.

Debbie's face turned red, and she tightly held onto Martin's wrist, her eyes welling up with tears.

"Martin, there must be a misunderstanding between us. Please, let go of me first, and let's talk about it slowly," she pleaded.

Martin tightened his grip on her wrist. "A misunderstanding? Did I misunderstand that you asked Timothy to find someone to deal with Patricia? Or did I misunderstand that your mother intended to push Patricia down the stairs but ended up falling herself and then framed Patricia?" he asked.

Debbie denied it, desperately trying to explain herself. "It is indeed a misunderstanding! I didn't ask anyone to deal with Patricia, and it was not my mother who fell down the stairs to frame her. Who told you this? Was it Patricia? She just wants to sow discord between us. Please don't believe her."

Seeing that she still refused to admit it at this point, Martin was utterly disappointed in her. He let go of his grip on her neck, wiping his hands with a handkerchief in disgust.

Debbie instantly lost her balance and collapsed onto the hospital bed. She opened her mouth wide, greedily breathing in the fresh air.

Martin threw the handkerchief used to wipe his hands into a nearby trash can and said expressionlessly, "Right or wrong, I don't want to investigate anymore! I came here to tell you that I will announce the cancellation of our engagement later. From now on, we owe each other nothing, and we will never have any contact again."

After speaking, he walked towards the door without looking back.

Debbie was in a daze.

She couldn't believe that Martin wanted to break off their engagement.

She jumped off the bed like a madwoman, firmly grabbing onto M.

Martin's hands gripped her tightly. "Why? Why do you want to break our engagement?" he asked coldly.

Without any hesitation, Martin pushed her away.

"Five years ago, you deceived me and I chose to divorce Patricia and get engaged to you in order to avoid some things. Now I realize that my decision was a huge mistake. Your actions have forced me to reevaluate whether you are truly the Debbie I knew," he said.

With that, he tried to walk away.

But Debbie couldn't let him go. She rushed in front of him, spreading her arms to block his path.

"I disagree, I absolutely disagree! We have been engaged for five years; how can you just call it off? What about the waiting I've endured for these five years? What about my youth?" she pleaded.

Martin clenched his sharp thin lips. "I will compensate you for the loss of your youth," he said.

Debbie became agitated. "I don't want any compensation for my lost youth, I only want you!"

"Must I spell it out for you?" Martin's clear eyes seemed to mock her.

Debbie forced herself to stay calm and confidently said, "I have no regrets."

"Heh..." Martin chuckled and took out his phone to call Alan.

In less than ten minutes, Alan arrived with some documents.

Martin tossed the documents at Debbie.

A sense of foreboding rose in Debbie's heart as she squatted down to pick up the papers, flipping through them one by one. The deeper she read, the uglier her expression became.

The documents detailed how she bribed Sophia's son and forced Sophia to put honey in Randy's food.

Even the offshore accounts she used to transfer money to Sophia's son were exposed.

Moreover, the surveillance footage from the ambulance had been repaired.

From her mother framing Patricia to their instructions for Timothy to deal with Patricia in prison, all their crimes were laid bare, the evidence irrefutable.

"No, it's fake, all of this is fake, not real! Someone framed me, these are all fake..." she denied, her emotions running high, trembling lips.

She couldn't believe it. Martin had secretly collected all the evidence of her crimes, and she had been completely unaware, foolishly thinking she had fooled everyone.
