Chapter 1101 Lassie Gave Hannah a Blood Transfusion

The chaos outside provided Austin with an opportunity.

Sitting on the bed in a daze, Tina suddenly received a message from Austin. [The Langley family is in trouble. Now is the perfect time to rescue you! Within ten minutes, find a chance to hypnotize Emma and make her sleep for a while.]

Reading the message, Tina's eyes welled up with excitement. She could finally leave this place. She could finally be free.

Tina glanced at the time; it wasn't yet time for Emma to bring in the tea. She pondered for a moment and then called out, "Emma, Emma!"

Emma, who was cleaning outside, heard the call and thought something was wrong. She immediately dropped the cloth and hurried into the room.

"Ms. Morris, what's wrong?" As soon as she finished speaking, she froze, staring blankly into Tina's eyes, completely losing control of her mind and body.

Tina asked, "Emma?"

Emma, like a robot, nodded in response. "I am Emma."

Tina stared unblinkingly into Emma's eyes, her gaze seemingly magical, capturing all of Emma's attention. In a moment, the light in Emma's eyes gradually dimmed.

Knowing her hypnosis had succeeded, Tina said, "Emma, now go to the living room, yawn twice, and then lie down on the couch and sleep. Remember, no matter what happens, do not wake up. Wake up after 24 hours."

Completely under her control, Emma nodded, turned around, and left the room.

Following Tina's instructions, she lazily yawned twice in the middle of the living room, then, looking drowsy, found the couch and lay down. In no time, she was sound asleep.

Tina took nothing with her. She only put the phone she used to contact Austin into her pants pocket.

Just as she finished everything, she heard the sound of fighting outside the door. Tina knew that the people Austin had sent to rescue her had arrived.

After a while, the fighting outside quieted down, followed by the sound of a password being entered into the lock, and the next second, the door opened.

Four burly bodyguards filed in. "We were sent by Mr. Moore to rescue you! Please come with us quickly."

Tina nodded. To avoid raising any alarms, she had the bodyguards drag Charles's men inside, and after closing the door, she left without looking back.

Sitting in the black sedan, Tina looked up at the sunlight outside the car window.

It was the same sky, the same sunlight, the same air, but she felt that the sky, sunlight, and air at this moment were better than those in that 'prison.'

She had finally escaped. She no longer had to be controlled by Charles.

During this time, she had developed a genuine friendship with Hannah, and a sense of reluctance rose in her heart. But compared to Austin and freedom, this reluctance was quickly suppressed.

She shouldn't have too many feelings for Hannah. From the beginning, she was only forced to be friends with Hannah because of Austin.

The black sedan slowly drove down the road, and only after passing the bustling area did it begin to speed up.

Outside the emergency room.

The tightly closed emergency room door finally opened. But it wasn't a doctor who came out; it was a nurse wearing a mask.

She said anxiously, "The patient is experiencing acute hemorrhaging and has lost a lot of blood. Because her blood type is rare, the blood bank's supply is insufficient. The only five bags of blood we had have been used up, and the bleeding hasn't stopped! The patient urgently needs a blood transfusion. Do you have any way to get more blood?"

Martin said, "I'll call other hospitals right away."

The nurse shook her head. "I just called other hospitals, and they don't have any either!"

Stella's face turned pale. "Hannah isn't one of those rare RH-negative blood types, is she?"

She often saw this on TV. She heard that this blood type was so rare that the blood bank's stock was very low.

The nurse shook her head. "It's not RH-negative blood; the patient has RH-positive blood. RH-positive blood is rarer than ABO blood types but more common than RH-negative blood. People with RH-positive blood are still relatively common!"

"RH-positive blood?" Everyone was stunned.

Randy first glanced at Charles, who was still staring blankly at the emergency room as if his soul had been taken away, and then said, "No, I'm type AB."

Stella's face fell instantly. "I'm not RH-positive blood either."

Patricia said, "No one in our family has RH-positive blood."

Stella started crying again. "What should we do? None of us have this blood type."

After saying this, she suddenly remembered something and looked sharply at Quentin and Lisa. "You are her parents; one of you must have the same blood type! Quick! Give Hannah a blood transfusion! Even if you don't like her, she is still your daughter. You can't just ignore her."

Lisa and Quentin got anxious. They weren't RH-positive blood! Their whole family was type O.

But how could they answer? If Charles and the others found out that Hannah's blood type didn't match theirs, wouldn't everything be exposed?

Seeing them remain silent, Stella thought they were unwilling and angrily said, "At a time like this, you're still hesitating! Is Hannah really your biological daughter? How can you be so cruel to her? Are you even human? Do you deserve to be her parents?"

Just as Lisa was stammering to find an excuse, the nurse spoke again, "No, direct relatives can't donate blood; it will cause graft-versus-host disease."

Stella was stunned. "What disease?"

What graft-versus-host disease? She had never heard of it. What kind of disease was this? Was it more serious than excessive blood loss and life-threatening conditions?

The nurse was getting anxious. "It doesn't matter what disease it is; direct relatives can't donate blood, that's a fact. The issue now is, can you find a way to get the blood?"

Hearing the nurse's words, Lisa and Quentin both breathed a heavy sigh of relief.

Lisa finally found a direct reason to refuse. "You see, it's not that we don't want to donate; we can't! We are direct relatives."

Seeing their fake helplessness, Stella really wanted to punch them.

Martin said, "Wait a moment, I'll pull up the information of all our employees. If it's not the rare RH-negative blood, we should be able to find someone."

As he was about to take out his phone to call Alan, Lassie suddenly said, "I have RH-positive blood."

Everyone's eyes turned to her.
