Chapter 1089 Release Tina
Tina sat quietly on the wooden bed, her legs curled up, her arms resting on her knees, and her left hand picking at the nails of her right hand repeatedly, her face lifeless. Why hadn't there been any news from Hannah?
When she was first locked up here, she could still calculate how long she had been detained based on the light and dark outside. But as time went on, she forgot how many days she had been locked up.
She only knew that she had been locked up for a very long time. It was different from the detention in Country H.
In Country H, Charles and Martin would come to interrogate her one after another, but after being transferred to the detention center in Sunset Bay, no one had come.
She had no idea what was happening outside. How was Hannah now? How was Austin now? He shouldn't have been discovered, right?
She knew that she was now competing with Charles in terms of endurance. This game was about who would give in first. If she won, she could leave here safely. If she lost, so be it! As long as Austin was okay!
After an unknown amount of time, a sudden sound of chaotic footsteps came from the door.
Tina's body trembled. Finally, someone was coming. Judging by the footsteps, it seemed like more than one person. It looked like Charles had lost; he couldn't take it anymore and came to surrender.
Her hypnosis had never failed, unless there were special circumstances. Of course, the probability of special circumstances occurring was only one in a hundred thousand.
Sure enough, soon, Charles and Martin appeared in Tina's sight.
Tina coldly curled her lips and then turned her head back, staring blankly ahead.
After a rustling sound, the door of the detention center was opened by the police, and Charles and Martin walked in. The police then locked the door from the outside.
"Mr. Langley, Mr. Watson, I'll be right outside. Call me if you need anything."
After Charles nodded to indicate he understood, the police left.
Charles and Martin walked up to Tina, looking down at her expressionless face.
Feeling their murderous gaze, Tina didn't react at all, maintaining her posture and expression.
After a moment of confrontation, it was Martin who lost. He was the first to speak. "You won!"
With just a few words, Tina finally showed her first expression in front of them. She curled her lips, seemingly unsurprised by the result.
Charles was clearly unwilling to accept this result. He suddenly leaned over, grabbed Tina's neck, and pressed her back against the wall, gritting his teeth. "I'm telling you, don't think you can do whatever you want. Hannah relies on you now, she can't live without you! If it weren't for her making a fuss, I would never let you out. Remember, if you dare to hypnotize her again like last time, I will never let you go."
Tina still didn't react. Charles's eyes turned red with anger, and the force in his hand increased.
Soon, Tina's face turned deep red from lack of oxygen. She didn't beg for mercy, just stared directly into Charles's eyes, blatantly provoking him.
Charles's teeth ground together in anger, his eyes full of fury. "I'm telling you, don't be too arrogant. If I find out that you hypnotized Hannah again, no matter how much she relies on you, I will never give you a third chance. Even if Hannah makes a fuss, I will kill you. Tina, remember my words, I mean what I say."
Tina let out a mocking laugh but didn't answer him.
Charles was about to lose his mind. Tina was indeed capable; she could always drive him crazy. But he couldn't kill her right away.
Seeing that Tina was about to be strangled by Charles, Martin immediately reached out and pulled him away. "Charles, don't be impulsive! Hannah still needs her; she can't die yet."
Tina clutched her neck, coughing painfully.
Charles, unwilling to give in, gritted his teeth and asked, "Tell me, what will it take for you to agree to end the hypnosis on Hannah? Whatever the condition, I'll agree to it. I swear, I won't pursue anything against you or your accomplices. I'll give you a chance."
These words were from Charles's heart, and he also considered it as giving Austin another chance. Whether they could seize the opportunity and cherish it was up to them.
Unfortunately, in the face of his compromise, Tina remained indifferent, always maintaining that calm demeanor.
Charles clenched and unclenched his fists repeatedly. After a while, he finally accepted reality, turned, and walked to the iron door, no longer looking at Tina. "Mr. Lester, handle the paperwork and let her out."
Martin walked up to Tina and sternly warned, "Tina, you may not have seen the methods of the Langley family, but I assure you, the Langley family can kill someone as easily as crushing an ant! I hope you take care of yourself and don't repeatedly challenge our bottom line. Some people are not to be provoked or opposed."
As he finished speaking, the door of the detention center was opened by the police from the outside again.
Charles, surrounded by a layer of cold and anger, stepped out.
Martin then said to the police, "Mr. Lester, handle the paperwork. I'm taking her now."
Noe Lester immediately said, "The paperwork is done; you can take her directly! Do you need me to send a car to take you back?"
Martin waved his hand. "No need! I'll take her directly!"
Noe immediately nodded. "Alright, if you need anything, feel free to contact me. It's my honor to serve you."
Noe rarely had the chance to curry favor with the Langley family, so he wouldn't miss it.
"Okay!" Martin nodded and walked out.
Noe walked up to the still-coughing Tina, immediately changing his tone, "Alright, you can go back now!"
After speaking, he muttered, "Daring to offend the Langley family, you must be tired of living! It looks like it won't be long before you're back here again!"
Now that she could leave, Tina didn't leave immediately. Instead, she looked at the place where she had stayed for a few days, her eyes dark and unreadable.
"Hurry up, what's the matter? Can't bear to leave?" Under Noe's impatient urging, Tina used her hands to support herself on the bed and stood up.
As a result, because she had been sitting for too long and her legs hadn't moved for a long time, they were a bit weak. Her body swayed a couple of times, and she barely managed to stand by holding onto the bed.
Sitting in the car, Tina suddenly felt a sense of disorientation. She was finally out.
The sunlight outside was particularly dazzling, and she couldn't help but shield her eyes with her hand.
She had only been locked up for a few days, but it felt like decades had passed. During these days, she missed Austin so much that it drove her crazy.
