Chapter 1124 Sentenced to Death

Charles didn't say a word to her. Instead, he shot a look at Alan, who then signaled the bodyguards.

The bodyguards got the message and dragged Quentin and Lisa out again.

This time, they didn't put up a fight or make a sound, like they had accepted their fate.

Charles turned his attention back to Austin. "Eight years ago, you planned Violet's kidnapping, wiped her memory, and left her with people like Quentin and Lisa, making her suffer all these years.

Then, eight years later, you pulled the same stunt, kidnapped Violet again, tried to erase her memory, and brought in a fake Violet to replace her.

The fake Violet kept hurting the real Violet, and now Violet's in the ICU, still in critical condition because of what the fake Violet did.

After that, you killed the fake Violet to shut her up.

In Country D, you hired someone to kill me!

In Country H, you pushed your own father down the stairs, and after he barely survived, you hypnotized him, leaving him in a coma to this day.

Everything you've done, all under the pretense of loving Violet, has only brought her pain.

All the suffering Violet has endured over the years is because of you!

You say you love her, but you hurt her the most.

Your actions are unforgivable, and even after being exposed, you refuse to admit or repent. Someone like you deserves to die ten times over!

I'm not here to make you confess today. I'm here to settle the score between us.

Violet and I grew up together; I practically raised her. Our bond leaves no room for a third person. No matter what tricks you play, you can't take Violet away from me."

Lassie listened in disbelief as Charles listed all of Austin's crimes, her eyes nearly popping out of their sockets.

Her son had done so many terrible things.

Any one of them was unforgivable.

And he had done so many.

She was even more shocked to learn that he had killed the fake Violet.

How could he be so ruthless, killing without batting an eye?

Lassie looked at Austin as if he were a stranger.

It seemed she never really knew her son.

He was so unfamiliar that it scared her.

"No..." Facing Charles's accusations, Austin protested, "The kidnapping eight years ago had nothing to do with me! You can't pin false charges on me."

Charles raised an eyebrow, smirking, "Oh? So you finally admit it?"

Austin froze, realizing he had slipped up.

His eyes darted around, avoiding Charles's gaze.

Charles dusted off his clothes and sighed, "Since everything is clear and your actions are proven, don't blame me for not considering our families' relationship."

He turned to Lassie, "Lassie, I'm sorry! I can't give Austin another chance! Who knows what other heinous acts he might commit?"

Lassie turned away, biting her lip, using all her strength to say, "Do whatever you want! From today on, he is no longer my son. The Moore family has no such heir."

Although she was extremely heartbroken when she said this, she couldn't let Austin continue down this path.

He had to be held accountable for his actions.

As her words fell, Austin's eyes turned lifeless.

Empty, like all the light had vanished, leaving only endless desolation and despair.

His mother had disowned him, and completely cut ties with him.

Violet was gone, and his parents were gone too.

He had nothing left, absolutely nothing.

And now he was in Charles's hands.

He had always thought he had everything under control.

But in the end, he realized he was no match for Charles.

Charles had been the winner all along.

Charles looked at Alan, "Take Austin away."

Since hearing Lassie's words, Austin had gone quiet, like a robot with its mind removed, allowing the bodyguards to pull him up from the chair.

Seeing them take Austin away, Tina panicked.

Even when she was locked up, she hadn't shown fear, but now she was not only scared but also worried and anxious. "What are you going to do to him? Charles, I was the one who hypnotized Hannah, I took her to Country H, this has nothing to do with Austin, it was all me."

Charles looked at her calmly. "So what if you did those things? What about the other crimes? Just killing the fake Violet is enough to ruin him for life! According to Country Z's laws, he would be sentenced to death!"

"Death penalty." Hearing those words, Tina's face turned extremely pale.

Her body and lips trembled.

"No, no! He can't die! He can't be sentenced to death, Charles, he's Carter's son, Carter almost lost his life saving your mother!

You can't do this to his son! You can't be ungrateful!"

Charles coldly smirked. "Did you forget? Lassie said she disowned him; from now on, he is no longer her son! Besides..."

He paused deliberately, drawing out his words. "Besides, Austin isn't even Carter's biological son, he was adopted from the Moore family's doorstep! An adopted son who almost killed their biological daughter, do you think they would forgive him?

Carter's kindness to my mother has nothing to do with Austin!

The Moore family raised Austin, never caring that he wasn't their biological child.

But he repaid them with betrayal, almost destroying the Moore family. The impostor he brought nearly killed their two daughters. He deserves it!"

Tina's expression turned to despair, her shoulders slumping as tears fell like broken pearls.

At first, she cried silently, then began to sob softly.

'Why? Why do things turn out this way?' She thought.

It was all her fault, her mistake that led to Charles finding evidence against Austin.

She had been too confident, thinking her hypnosis was foolproof, not expecting Charles to have a backup plan.

Charles said coldly, "If you truly loved him, you should have stopped him, not helped him commit crimes, letting him make mistake after mistake! If you had tried to stop him instead of agreeing to help without hesitation, he wouldn't have done so many irreparable things."

Tina's tears fell even harder.

It was all her fault, her love had caused this disaster.

"What do you want to let him go, to spare his life?" Tina added.

Charles had been waiting for this question.

He had done so much today, spent so much time, all for this moment.
