Chapter 1086 Hannah Remembered Austin

Charles originally planned to take Hannah to the hospital, but shortly after driving out of Sunshine Manor, Hannah's headache completely disappeared.

It was just that she had been in so much pain earlier that she felt a bit weak now, her breath was shallow, and her voice was very soft. "I'm feeling better, no need to go to the hospital."

Charles, still worried, insisted, "No, you were in so much pain earlier, you still need to get checked out. Ever since we went to Crystal Blue Lake, you haven't had a headache, and now it suddenly started again. I'm afraid there might be something else going on."

Hannah explained, "I just seemed to remember something earlier, that's why my head hurt so much."

Charles's eyes flickered, and he tentatively asked, "About Austin?"

Hannah nodded and said truthfully, "I seem to know him. When I saw him, a lot of fragments appeared in my mind, but it was like they were covered with a veil. I tried so hard to see them clearly, but I couldn't. The more anxious I got, the more my head hurt."

Charles didn't push her, gently rubbing her head. "If you can't remember, then don't think about it. Nothing is more important than your health."

But Hannah didn't listen to a word, leaning back in her seat, lost in thought. "Even though I couldn't see clearly, I seemed to hear him call me Evelyn."

The car, which was driving normally, suddenly braked to a stop on the side of the road, causing the cars behind to brake urgently as well.

In a moment, a long line of cars had stopped behind them, but fortunately, it was on a main road, so there was no serious traffic accident.

Charles, realizing he almost caused an accident, quickly turned the steering wheel and moved the car to the side of the road.

Hannah was startled, her eyes wide open, breathing lightly as she looked at him. Mainly because Charles was usually very steady and rarely did anything so out of character.

She asked, "What's wrong with you?"

Charles turned to look at her, his expression serious. "What did you just say? Say it again."

Hannah blinked in confusion. "I said, even though I couldn't see those images clearly, I seemed to hear him call me Evelyn."

Charles's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Evelyn? He called you Evelyn?"

Hannah nodded. "Yes! He said a lot of things to me, but I don't remember any of them, I only remember him calling my name."

Charles's handsome face suddenly turned very dark. This name was given to Hannah by Tina when she was in Country H. Besides Tina, only he, Martin, Ryan, Stella, and Randy knew about it.

After finding Hannah, no one had ever called her by that name again; they all still called her Hannah as before. So, how did Austin know this name? And why would he call Hannah Evelyn?

Since finding Hannah, Austin had only appeared twice. Once was last time at the hospital in Country H, when Austin came with Lassie, but Hannah was asleep at that time, and they left after a while. The second time was today.

So, Hannah definitely hadn't seen Austin before this. Then, why did Hannah hear Austin call her Evelyn?

Charles asked, "Do you remember the circumstances under which he called you Evelyn?"

Hannah tilted her head and thought for a while, but couldn't remember anything, and her temples started to hurt again.

She uncomfortably pounded her temples with her hand, suddenly feeling useless for not remembering anything.

Seeing her like this, Charles immediately panicked, grabbing her hand. "If you can't remember, then don't think about it! I said earlier, nothing is more important than you."

But Hannah's stubbornness kicked in. Especially that feeling of almost remembering but always being just a bit short, it was even more frustrating and maddening.

She tried hard, desperately thinking, but could only recall some scattered fragments. "It seemed to be in a house, I... I was sitting on the sofa, he... he was sitting next to me, holding my hand."

Charles frowned slightly. In a house? Hannah sitting on the sofa. Austin sitting next to her? They were once engaged, so it was normal for them to interact like that, nothing suspicious.

Suddenly, Hannah seemed to see something, grabbing Charles's hand tightly. "Tina... Tina... I'm back!"

Saying this, she couldn't bear it anymore, holding her head in pain. "It hurts, my head hurts so much. Charles, my head hurts so much."

Charles's heart ached for her, immediately pulling her into his arms, gently patting her back.

"Hannah, don't think about it anymore, even if you never remember, don't think about it! Those memories are lost, just let them be lost. As long as you're safe, healthy, and well, that's all that matters."

Hannah grabbed his arms, the pain making her grip too tight, veins popping on the back of her hands.

She was sweating profusely, her hair sticking messily to her face, her eyes bloodshot, looking pained and haggard. "Charles, I saw Tina. Austin and I were sitting on the sofa, and Tina walked in after pushing the door open."

Charles's eyes instantly sharpened. Indeed, his thoughts were correct. Austin and Tina definitely knew each other, but they had been hiding it well, so he hadn't found any evidence.

And Hannah's disappearance was definitely related to Austin. If Austin and Tina had conspired to kidnap Hannah, then all the questions would be answered.

Austin still had feelings for Hannah, so he kidnapped her, had Tina erase her memories, and then implanted a new identity and new memories, all to take Hannah away from him.

And because Austin was the mastermind, he knew all their progress and plans in finding Hannah, perfectly avoiding their search.

Charles realized he had underestimated Austin, who had come up with such a meticulous plan. It seemed he shouldn't have let Austin go last time. He had given Austin a chance, but Austin still didn't repent.

Hannah, feeling overwhelmed by the memories she had recalled, tightly grabbed Charles's arm. "Charles, what is my relationship with Austin?"

Even though she had only remembered a little, Hannah could still feel that her relationship with Austin was not ordinary.

Because in her memory, Austin's voice was so gentle and patient, and the way he looked at her was extremely tender.

She didn't think ordinary friends would act like that. So, what was her relationship with Austin? Could it be, like her relationship with Charles, a romantic one?

This sudden thought scared her, making her break out in a cold sweat. Absolutely impossible. Even if she had forgotten, she was 100% sure that her feelings for Austin were completely different from her feelings for Charles. She only loved Charles.
