Chapter 1115 The Complete Plan and Timeline
Charles continued to scroll down.
After Tina agreed to help Austin, she sent him a message. [They will get engaged at Sunset Bay, which is the Langley family's territory. If Charles finds out Hannah has been swapped, he'll definitely lock down all the exits in the city! How am I supposed to get Hannah out then? Escape to Country H?]
Austin clearly had a complete plan. [I've arranged everything! When the time comes, you will smuggle her out! Even if Charles locks down the city, he'll only block the train station, airport, and bus station, not the docks!]
Tina: [How are you going to get Hannah away from the engagement venue? Charles likes her so much, he'll definitely stay by her side!]
Another message popped up immediately.
Tina: [I know you really like Hannah, but with Charles' current status, we can't afford to offend him! If Charles finds out, not only will we fail, but you'll also be in danger.]
It was the first time Charles had seen Tina send such a long message. From this message, he finally sensed something unusual. Vaguely, he seemed to have discovered something.
Austin: [Violet and Hannah look very similar. I'll get a makeup artist to make some adjustments. They already look alike, so with a few tweaks, no one will notice. The height is even easier; just wear high heels! Don't worry, it's foolproof. They won't find out! You just need to wait for my notification.]
Tina: [Okay! I got it! Tell me the detailed plan once I get there.]
Austin: [Alright!]
After this chat, they didn't contact each other for several days.
Charles was about to continue reading when Austin became restless. "Charles, if you have a problem, come at me. What's the point of dragging my mother into this? You know she's been exhausted over Hannah these past few days, and you still called her here. What are you up to?"
Tina's mouth was gagged, but from the sounds she made and her reddened eyes, it was clear she wanted to speak.
Charles looked at her, his thin lips curling into a smile that didn't reach his eyes. Tina, usually calm, was now anxious. This seemed to confirm Charles' suspicions.
Alan, seeing Charles staring at Tina's eyes, worried he might be hypnotized, quickly reminded him, "Mr. Watson, be careful. Tina's hypnosis is very powerful. Don't let her hypnotize you."
Charles smiled playfully at Tina and explained to Alan, "I've consulted many people about her hypnosis technique! It's called mental hypnosis! Mental hypnosis requires concentration and a strong will! Given the current situation, do you think she can concentrate?"
Forget concentration; Tina was solely worried about Austin's safety and had probably forgotten about hypnosis altogether.
Alan glanced at the agitated Tina and felt reassured. Indeed, in this situation, it would be hard for Tina to hypnotize Charles.
If anything seemed off, they could just cover Tina's eyes, and her hypnosis would be interrupted. With this in mind, Alan said no more, keeping a close watch on Tina to catch any signs of trouble.
"Charles, you bastard! Let my mother go. If you have a problem, come at me!" Seeing Charles ignoring him, Austin struggled even more. His eyes and tone were filled with unprecedented panic.
Charles coldly curled his lips and sneered, "What? You weren't afraid of hurting them when you did all this, but now you're scared? Are you afraid of hurting them, or are you afraid Lassie will see your true colors and be disappointed in you? You've done so many bad things, but you're scared of being found out. Austin, are you a coward or a hypocrite?"
Austin retorted, "You're talking nonsense, I..."
Charles didn't give him a chance to finish, cutting him off, "Whether I'm talking nonsense will soon be clear."
With that, he ignored Austin and continued reading the text messages. The next message he saw was an address.
Then, a message from Austin. [This is the place I've arranged for you. Stay here for now. The password for the lock is your birthday. Once my men bring Hannah to you, leave immediately. I've arranged a car for you.]
Tina: [Okay!]
About two hours later, Tina sent another message. [I've arrived!]
Austin: [There's daily necessities inside. If you need anything else, buy it nearby! If it's inconvenient, let me know, and I'll get it for you.]
Tina: [I looked around. Everything I need is here. Since I won't be staying long, there's no need to buy anything else!]
Austin: [Alright! Contact me if you need anything.]
These messages were sent almost immediately, with no time gaps. After this message, a few minutes passed before Tina replied again.
Tina: [Thank you for arranging everything so thoroughly!]
Austin: [No need to be so polite between us.]
Tina: [You've worked hard. Rest for now! We'll contact each other later.]
Austin: [Okay! Be careful when you act. If anything seems off, pull back immediately!]
Tina: [I know, I'll handle it!]
After this conversation, they didn't contact each other for two days. All their communication was through text messages; they never made a single call.
Charles glanced mockingly at Tina and Austin.
As Charles read the messages, Lassie stood beside him, reading along. The more she read, the worse her expression became.
Tina and Austin's messages were few but precise, each one nailing Austin's crimes. When Charles paused, she glanced at Austin, her eyes full of disappointment.
Seeing Lassie's disappointed look, Austin's heart ached. His chest felt tight, and he was deeply saddened, almost unable to breathe. He had let Lassie down.
From childhood, even though he wasn't Lassie's biological son, she had never treated him differently. She had even said more than once that he should inherit the Moore family's business.
Even though he repeatedly expressed disinterest in the Moore family's business, it never wavered Lassie and Carter's determination.
It was clear they never saw him as an adopted son. Now, seeing Lassie look at him like this, he felt terrible.
Charles continued to scroll down to the day of his and Hannah's engagement.
Austin first sent a message to Tina. [At 1 PM, Hannah will be sent to you on time! Hypnotize her and let her sleep for a while, then take her away from Sunset Bay.]
Tina: [Okay!]
The message was sent in the morning. In the afternoon, they contacted each other again.
Tina: [I've picked up Hannah. I've just hypnotized her, and she's asleep now. I'm preparing to take her away.]
Austin: [Okay! Be careful along the way. If anything seems off, keep her asleep as long as it doesn't harm her.]
Tina: [I know what to do!]
Austin: [I'm not convenient to contact you now. To clear any connection, I can't stay in Sunset Bay. I need to return to Country D immediately. I'll turn off my phone once I'm on the plane. Leave me a message if anything happens.]
Tina: [Okay!]
The conversation paused again, ending there.
